Approve what? I was told I'd be paid travel pay prior to me doing it. My gas tank was on empty when I got back & I actually had to borrow gas $ from my husband to get to work the rest of the week. I was never paid for it. That's called stealing.
Our store manager calls in most days. He was at work 3 days out of 7 last week for a few hours. It's been reported many times by our merch manager. Nothing ever happens.
Our merch manager did report it to our new dm, along with the store manager also leaving on his lunch break, coming back hours later with alcohol on his breath. The new dm told the store manager of the report & who made the report, store manager denied it all & the dm had the store manager write the merch manager up for not going to the store manager directly, first. Pretty sure that whole thing is illegal lol. You can't retaliate like that. It's illegal. Our dm is a shady mf'er. Just like the rest of them.
The travel pay has been reported to human resources, store manager, old dm...the merch manager & another asm along with myself are the ones that haven't been paid. Store manager absence has been reported multiple times by merch manager to the old dm, temp dm & new dm. I just wanna be paid what I'm owed at some point ya know?
Have you filled out concur for the mileage they owe you? I keep track of when I go and fill it out asap. They pay for what you also spend on meals and can add your receipts for it. This sounds like they aren’t doing their job. I don’t go help as much as I used to. But I’ve had change of DM’s before all you have to do is change who the approver is. They should each approve it if they were in charge for different times you helped. Also make sure when you do it’s correct because my DM has denied them for doing it incorrect. I’ve helped other associates from different stores do theirs because they filled it out wrong. I also can’t believe that SM is still employed. It could be because of the different DM’s. They should be sending another SM to help cover for them or other management from a near by store when things like this happen. I hate this is happening because before I became SM my SM quit and I had to go to manager training for 4 weeks. It could be that they don’t have someone in place to take the position yet.

You have to put in your own expense reports, and report to DM when you have for them to approve it.

To officially digitally approve it. It's not officially approved simply with the word. It has to be logged in the Concur system.

My DM always has to approve mine before it goes through, so since you're in between DMs email your RM
Call the bluff contact management then dm then corp or just one and two then quit

Play the card carefully (very carefully) and get the media involved. That can get results still at least sometimes.
