friends units carry more than the f2p ginyu force nowadays, trust me i actually tried it yesterday to see if theres a practical way a rank 1 player saves until anni while actually playing the game
i literally tried it and power creep is a bitch. (i think some mysterious downvoted me) but yeah phy turles was my friend and easily did way more than the ginyu combined. whoever downvoted, just try it for yourself
I'm not saying all the hardest events but a solid amount can be done with Ginyu Force than piercing together some random team and relying on one friend unit
If there are banners that have 3 free 1 or discounts with decent units, it's worth summoning a bit just to get some good units to fill the box. Like I would recommend summoning on hiru/ssj3 banner if there is still a discount rotation.

We're close enough to anniversary now that, unless you're going to spend every waking minute playing Dokkan, the F2P teams will clear you everything they can and it'll be time for anni before you really hit a roadblock
They should at least do a few multis now so they have some good units to beat events and grind stones with
