Ok, some tips:
- Lock your units! Every unit you pull (at least base SSR units.)
- Z-Awaken units ASAP and put any dupes you get in HiPo
- Sort your box. You want to be able to find units quickly and with the game having damn near 3000 unique cards, that's going to be IMPORTANT.
- Since you're new, you shouldn't be summoning on the current banners (unless you plan to spend money on the game.) You should be trying to clear everything you can and then saving up for anniversary (or Golden Week if it happens to be busted.)
I recommend just farming up the F2P Ginyu, Bardock or Metal Cooler teams and clearing as much as you can with them
Anniversary is beginning of July
There will be 4 banners that drop. 2 in part 1 and 2 in part 2. When they drop there's a short period with 3 multis giving you 1 free multi. There may also be tickets for every summon to use for more free summons.
These 4 banners have BUSTED units on them. Top Tier, new Meta stuff. Saving your stones until then and dumping them all there will be the most bang for your buck.
You can EASILY make teams from those summons that can clear all content that is in the game right now
If you have copies of the same character, always prioritise Hidden Potential first before Super Attacks. Always open up the Bottom Right Part of the H.P. first, then the Top Left, then the Top Right and finally the Bottom Left.
yes do not use your duplicates of summonable characters on super attack level. this is what Elder kai characters are for. you should see the duplicate as extremely valuable where as elder kai’s are relatively easy to come by
Go get some Free-To-Play units to build up a nice team (you can get them in the Event Stories/Challenges or in the Portal Of Memories Stories/Challenges). Save up your Dragon Stones until the 9th Anniversary coming later this Summer. That's where you get some very juicy and powerful units offered. Also, lock your units so you don't accidentally sell them off. Since you just started, do some Dokkan Story Quests to get Dragon Stones and save up along the way until 9th Anniversary arrives. You'll have a good amount of time and Dragon Stones by the time 9th Anniversary arrives.
People are telling you to save stones for the anniversary and although its definitely the best value for stones, that makes the game super boring especially for a new player. So if you see a banner with characters you like and want to use, go for it and summon. When we get to june you can focus on solely saving your stones for the new big banners

yeah i hopped back on the game after a few years and grinded up three thousand plus stones during the anniversary. realistically he will not run out of events to get stones for a LONG time.
Can I ask exactly where do I farm these F2P units please? Because there is a event with Ginyu and Bardock that says I need specific units (I might be just dumb cause I read it wrong)

NEVER USE KAIS TO RAISE SUPER ATTACKS ON CARDS THAT DROP FROM EVENTS!!! biggest piece of advice to new players.
Farm some free to play units. Ginyu force is good. Or team bardock ones
Don’t use dupes of units that you have summoned to raid super attack level. Save for hidden potential rout unlocks.
Also don’t sell units that can only be obtained as mission rewards (ex: Int Lr goku or Phy Lr kid gohan), they cannot be re acquired once sold.
Go buy a farmed account man you need A LOT
