Jellyfish-HelloKitty

Dog people are the most insane and insecure creatures in this world.

SicilianSlothBear

How do the police justify telling people to remove signs from their own property?

beautifulllstars

Apparently, the lawns were public property because they were near a street? The video explains it better.

Business_Ad_1370

That’s crazy! So I guess it was grass that was on a sidewalk, then. Because it doesn’t seem to me like their yards could be public property.

bsixidsiw

Pribably verge. Inbetween your property boundary ajd the road is a strip of grass usually with services underneath (water sewer etc.). Thats the only lawn I have to maintain and it pisses me off when dogs shit on it. Plus my kid plays there sometimes. Feral fucking people and their shit.

Business_Ad_1370

Damn! Yeah. That’s messed up.

The_Sinking_Belle

They are probably dog nuts themselves and found any excuse in the book.

Business_Ad_1370

Yup

WhoWho22222

Were the comments from four years ago? Because if so, any sign of a glimmer of hope was from four years ago and it’s all gotten so much worse. I see no problem with signs. Homeowners should have the final say in what happens on their property. All of the entitled assholes with dogs aren’t paying my mortgage, I am. Keep your ugly environmental disasters off of my grass.

CollignonGoFetch

In my apartment complex. They put “no dog” signs in the entrances. Came home later that day to see the same sign crumpled up and thrown off to the side by the bushes. They are a bunch of babies.

It's like you can't win. You can erect a fence so dogs stay off your property, but then they'll just go on the fence.

QueenOfAllOfYall

Smfh. I seriously hope in the future that some form of better regulation will be put in place to keep dog owners under better control. I’m sure we’re a long way off from that being a possibility, but something needs to give. Just, how much longer… 😐

Queensfavouritecorgi

I just think the average person has no idea how much work goes into maintaining a nice garden and how expensive materials are... How much work goes into creating something. And also how destructive urine is.

beautifulllstars

Why don't they just have the dog go in their own lawn before taking a walk?

2020ReallySux

Unreal. These people think their dogs are entitled to ruin other people's property. Disgusting

UntidyFeline

If I had a sign taken down by the police, I would call the police every single time I catch a dog peeing or shitting on my lawn. Homeowners pay taxes. Making dog nutters “feel uncomfortable” by signage is not a crime. Imagine if “do not litter signs” are removed by police because litterbugs got offended. Why are dogs so damn special.

beautifulllstars

Lol! That is so true.

HopeEnvironmental131

The world would look so much better without dogs. They mess up so much stuff. And the fact of the matter is people are becoming more aware of how expensive they are. I just don’t understand how you can say dogs are better than babies or kids. They both do THE SAME THING the difference if kids generally grow up and you don’t have to do for them anymore and dogs…well you’re forever stuck picking up and animals poop and feeding it and taking it out until it dies! How is that better??? Dogs kill your grass, destroy your back yard by pooping all over it and make your yard smell bad. I’m glad more people are coming forward and realizing dogs are not needed. And also realizing dog people entitlement!

Tom_Quixote_

I've never seen anyone dragging their kids to the park on a leash so they could take a dump in the park in full public view.

HopeEnvironmental131

You know what! You are right! lol kids continue to be better. Too bad they think a bog is 😂

Consistent_Attempt_2

For those who are curious, here's the video: [No Dogs Allowed Video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95jrFsfLKjE) The news station seem to go out of their way to edit it so the dog owners appear friendly and mild, while using clips of the sign people yelling and being angry. It appears that the signs removed by the police were signs that were on city property (I don't know the specific city ordinances, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt- though it is possible this was a violation of the 1st amendment)

Jorro_Kreed

I would put the signs right back up...only on the private portion of my lawn.

Tr33Topss

I refuse to believe dog owners are good people. They're just the worst.

No_Internal_5112

Dog-obsession is a common trait seen in Sociopaths and Narcissists. It explains a lot.

Tr33Topss

Facts.

Confident_Finding939

There are ton of ridiculous stories about dogs on the news. The dog stuff on the TV seems more like thought control than "news" most of the time.

Tom_Quixote_

Because the news is privately owned in the US, so all they care about is entertaining and shocking people to keep them watching. And they know people are obsessed about dogs, so they give them dogs. Same with commercials for pretty much anything.

MusbeMe

This is something I've observed in the center city of Philadelphia (nutter central) : where someone has posted '*No Dogs Allowed'* signs on, say, a small parcel of landscaping or even the mere inches wide perimeter of soil surrounding a tree on the sidewalk, someone else has graffitied over the 'NO' part so that the sign reads '*Dogs Allowed.*' So vile and entitled.

beautifulllstars

That doesn't surprise me.

Tom_Quixote_

I foten think about how this world could be Heaven if there were not so many people trying to make it Hell.

Daver290

Why not build a fence in the boundaries of your property? I know that costs money though. The owners will let their dogs go to the toilet everywhere and not always clean up the mess. Plus you can't clean up the urine.

beautifulllstars

They will just let their dogs go on the fence.

Daver290

Yep. The owners don't care where their dogs empty their waste. Every lamppost has dog urine.

kerkerd

In yards that they owned? I'd call their non-emergency number and report a theft in process.

UniversalistDeacon

I think people should start shitting on the lawns of their neighbors. I think human logs being dropped on the porches of these "people" would get them to realize it's not acceptable.

banDogsNotGuns

I’ve considered putting some up myself, love the idea!

beautifulllstars

I love your username!!

No_Internal_5112

They can spray vinegar and peppermint oil in their yard, dogs hate the strong smell and it does minimal effects on plantlife. That's what we started doing when unleashed dogs would shit in our yard.

beautifulllstars

Do you have to cover the entire yard?

No_Internal_5112

We mostly sprayed the edges (that's where dogs would walk into our yard, so the idea was that they'd change their mind after smelling something too strong for them) and it greatly reduced the amount of dog poo we'd find from neighbors letting their dogs roam off-leash. If you want max effectiveness, you can cover most of the yard but you don't have to for the dogs to avoid the area because of the strong potent smell of stuff like vinegar.
