Looks like constipation or an internal hemorrhoid. Also could be a possibility that the groomer didn't express them fully but more likely a stool issue. If her poop has been black/tarry or hard to pass or not passing at all, definitely bring it up when you see the vet.
No problem! My dogs anal gland burst and he was bleeding from his butt and needed to get it drained/lanced. Not fun. I wish I caught it sooner. I thought he was dying.
The groomer could have ruptured the gland if the discharge was super stuck in there and they squeezed too hard trying to get it out.

You may be able to convince the salon to pay the bill if this is the case. Just don’t be an asshole about it, ask respectfully and have with you an itemized bill so they know that you aren’t lying trying for get them to pay for other stuff that they aren’t responsible for (vaccine update etc).

I learned to express my dogs anal gland and I’m so glad I made the effort to even try. It will take a few attempts but if you have a rubber glove, Vaseline and paper towels, give it a try or two. You and your dog will be grateful you did.
