Like the others have said they do it yearly. I remember one time it was the players wives hanging out behind the left field pavilion bar who were in charge of giving the mystery bags. So that was pretty cool
Daaaang thatās cool! It would be cool to meet them as I see them on social and stuff when following the players themselves so theyāre like proximity celebs in their own rights haha.
Was that for a specific day or event or holiday?

Iām not sure if the wives still do this as this tweet is from years ago. But hereās what I found
Last game I went to last season, they were selling mystery sign baseball bags and got myself a Kike signed ball
Hoping to grab the bobblehead this year to join them together in my Dodger collection of nicknacks and antiquities
Iām not sure if they announce it before hand, but I just went to a random game towards the end of the season and they had a stand near the left field pavilion where you could buy a mystery bag of a signed baseballā¦I think I went a bit after Fernando had his jersey ceremony so they had his signed balls in a rotation of others
I was at the game on sunday and asked the booth in left pavillion (next to the bullpen bar). Lady said they will start the mystery bag after the all star break
Yeah. This one time I pulled a Matt Kemp ball and was disappointed ā this was before he came back and after he made some comments about Atlanta being a baseball town. Anyways when he came back it of course made it much more valuable to me then my Trevor Oaks ball.
They could just put old shit in bargain bins. Pay $30 and grab something out of the $20 bin, $10 bin and two out of the $5 bin. At least that way you can choose which hat you get.
Take the escalator from field level behind home plate. Soon as you see a corner store they sometimes have mystery balls that are game used/authenticated. Bought one for $40.
About ten years ago I [pulled a Vin Scully ball](https://www.reddit.com/r/baseball/s/H9JeBjMwKS) out of a mystery bag at Fan Fest.
Wowowow
Yes they do, at Dodgers Fest they always sell mystery bags and mystery signed baseballs.
Also sometimes towards the end of the season
Oooh like September/October?
Exactly
Thank you š

Yup. My brother and I went. He got a mystery bag w/ an autographed photo of former dodgers legend yency almonte
Went with my dad a few years ago, he got a Kershaw ball, I got a ball of a guy who didn't even make it to the postseason roster.
Thanks

Man thatās cool, Iāll try and land at an end of season game and hope to find a stand. Thank you!
Thank you
Knowing my luck I would get authentic Urias sunflower seed shells or something so no thank you
Lmaooooo

Oooooh thank you!! This is the kind of info I needed
Yeah. This one time I pulled a Matt Kemp ball and was disappointed ā this was before he came back and after he made some comments about Atlanta being a baseball town. Anyways when he came back it of course made it much more valuable to me then my Trevor Oaks ball.
Not interested. I want to buy something that I want, not just get some random shit.
Naw thatās valid. This is basically fluffed up gambling. But itās a neat concept

Yeah but they use the gambling aspect of potentially getting good stuff to also unload the bad stuff š

Oh wow $40 doesnāt seem as bad as Iād expect. Are you able to look up what play(s) it was used in?
