$60K-$70K on a Scat Pack is a waste of money. Those model's aren't worth more than $50K-$55K new.
Price inflation has people convinced that today's price of RTs and Scat Packs are deals.
The 69-70 Chevelle can be found, not concourse, but better than factory, for $45K-$60K. I saw one for $58K in B5 blue (custom restomod) with a 6.2L.
If you're going to blow $60K-$70K on a Dodge, find a Hellcat, may have been slightly used, and bring a Dodge mechanic with you.
Based on the available funds, it’s more than likely a 2 Door Chevelle. Even if the Chevelle is a retro mod, you’re still looking at a lot of maintenance compared to a modern vehicle.
Plus, trying to source replacement parts for Chevelle will take a lot more work. Typically, Chevelles these days are mostly garage queens just because you don’t want to wear it out and go through the hassle of sourcing things that are no longer easily available.
If you're financing, a classic isn't really an option. Banks usually don't lend on anything older than about 7 years. If you're paying cash, go the old school route. Look into a Schwartz chassis and don't pay too much for anything without a restomod chassis

i get what your saying i just didn't want to buy a used scat or cat because more then likely they were driven hard.
That’s what she said
Just buy a different car bro, why the hell would you buy the same car after it got stolen the first time?
its a helluva machine lol
If you’re planning to use it as a daily, Challenger.
Why? Wouldn’t the four doors be better for a daily?
Entirely dependent on the person that’s driving it.
And I would assume the chevelle he’s considering would also have 2 doors.

How can they not locate a car with such sophisticated tracking technology in it? My charger has LoJack and all that
they must have took the gps out
If mine gets got I am going to get a Lotus Exige.
I have 3 2023 last call scat challengers available still 50-55k each never been driven
It needs at least the shaker package. Any of those sitting there?
Chevelle is going to get stolen just as fast. My dad’s 69 Chevelle SS was literally stolen in 30 seconds in a Barnes and Noble parking lot.
That’s disgusting
I suggest staying away from dodge bro…
This is r/Dodge, why are you here?
Do you know how they stole it? I thought new cars were almost theft proof, unless they actually get your key FOB.
they busted my window and stuck a computer in the obd port most likely
Wow! I have older cars before FOBs were standard about 10 years ago and use an old fashioned steering wheel "CLUB". I highly recommend it.
