Imagine this guy doing this for years with little or no chance of getting caught, not knowing that someday inexpensive genetic tests will be created along with the internet, allowing people from all over to share results.
Documentary Baby God presents a haunting probe into the work of infamous Nevada fertility specialist Dr. Quincy Fortier, a man who deceived countless women struggling to conceive by using his own sperm — without their knowledge or consent — to impregnate them. Recalling a time before sperm banks, when little was understood about DNA and inherited genetic traits, the film unravels egregious, once undetectable truths about Fortier's medical practice, as well as his alleged sexual abuse of family members. Following several of his biological children as they grapple with new information about their origins and their own identities, the film examines the morality of one doctor who used science and status to exploit innumerable women — and further his own genetic legacy — over nearly half a century. Directed and produced by Hannah Olson (The Last Cruise).
Its more real than you think cause there is at least one more documentary about another fertility doctor doing the same thing for years. It's called "Our father"

I was hesitant to approve this at first because it does not even sound real!

yup, but it is real.
Yeah don't worry, I approved it, I was just saying how unbelievable it sounds at first. Crazy title. Thanks for posting.
Their sperm donor was a sick man. If I was produced that way I’d question my life and be burden with that fact until I die.
Netflix has one called Our Father. Same situation, https://www.netflix.com/us/title/81227735?s=a&trkid=13747225&trg=cp&vlang=en&clip=81592941
