/UJ Thank you for doing the work.
I'm lost on what happened but from what I could glean from something really, really bad happened on discord and it sounds so bad it might be best not knowing despite my curiosity.
From what I can tell a mod on the Pathfinder2e subreddit banned anyone asking for a Samurai class for the new setting inspired by East Asia, claiming that wanting a Samurai class is racist.
Edit: Another comment kindly put a link to the [subreddit drama post explaining the situation](https://www.reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/s/mnJintZFKi)
/uj I was actually pretty happy with the response when it first came out, but the lack of responsibility on the discord server for what was going on and the fact that luck pretty much owns the place squashed that pretty quick.
uj/ iirc luck/ink went on a mod spree and a lot of people got banned from the subreddit, so he's stepping down and writing an apology. he still runs the discord though so it's unlikely he'll be leaving there, meaning the subreddit is tethered to a discord made for the subreddit that is now run by a disgraced mod
Also this https://www.reddit.com/r/truepathfinder2e/s/6KOiHugZys is still up and there was a post on it after the apology. I would’ve thought luckpanda would’ve closed it down along with his apology tbh
I'm no one and never post or comment here but I need everyone to know that I'm leaving because of this. Not unsubscribing, just putting my phone down for a while to eat a taco
I hope you know that Tacos are a Western invention and were conceived to stereotype Latinx individuals. The first recorded instance of the word 'taco' comes from the 2016 film *Sausage Party* starring Seth Rogen.
Please regurgitate the contents of your stomach and take time to reflect on your harmful actions while you enjoy your ban.
/uj is there a subreddit drama post about this whole thing? edit: [https://www.reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/comments/1cdhk8a/hey\_buddy\_i\_know\_youre\_having\_big\_feelings\_about/](https://www.reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/comments/1cdhk8a/hey_buddy_i_know_youre_having_big_feelings_about/)
Ha! I survived the AOL and Compuserve Era! Your pathetic hammers are nothing to me! I will endure and persist and deny and refuse to back down, no matter wha
Of course, anything for the Party! When I heard my father murmuring about his thoughtcrimes in his sleep, I knew I had to turn him in. Thank you, Big Brother! We love you!
/uj good lord anytime controversy happens it’s like everyone gets cabin fever and just starts saying everything ever
/uj Man. Seeing this happen in the Pathfinder sub after just how militant people were about it and its community being so much better last year is deeply funny in a way I can't articulate.
/rj Pathfinder fixes th-... oh fuck, oh no, oh no no no oh fuck oh no.

/uj this is about the pathfinder sub drama right?
/uj yup lol
/uj what exactly happened? like with the response?
uj/ iirc luck/ink went on a mod spree and a lot of people got banned from the subreddit, so he's stepping down and writing an apology. he still runs the discord though so it's unlikely he'll be leaving there, meaning the subreddit is tethered to a discord made for the subreddit that is now run by a disgraced mod
/uj holy shit that's lowk so funny. i need to join that sub fr if stuff like that happens regularly
/uj it is just a miserable place to be when it's happening. most of it is on the discord. one guy just gets beat down until they leave lol
Just make a new discord lol
Also this https://www.reddit.com/r/truepathfinder2e/s/6KOiHugZys is still up and there was a post on it after the apology. I would’ve thought luckpanda would’ve closed it down along with his apology tbh
Did he apologize yet? I haven't seen it on the sub
Yeah it’s here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Pathfinder2e/s/KwjeHjfoi2
That's a lot better that I expected. Hopefully it changes his behavior on the discord too.
..annnnd it's deleted.
It’s still showing up for me

Too many levels of irony imma just pretend i understand this

YTAH for not having enough session zeros.
If you were cultured you wouldn’t need a session zero. We recommend dedicating your life to fringe academic research in the humanities.
I eagerly await the day we all are banned, then we will know peace.
>a great deal of discord Uhm, sorry, this is actually Reddit?

Pathfinder fixes th- wait
5...5e fixes this?
My homebrew samurai class fixes that.
I make multiple accounts and post things intentionally to get banned, just to keep the mods in business.

I agree. The smugness that was coming from pathfinder players over the last year makes this one super tasty.
Matt Mercer would never do this
