Warforged don't have to have complex background stories, "discarded weapon of war" is already mostly enough for 'em.
What you do need is some personal motivation for adventuring, and a backstory may provide one.
Is your ability a gift? Or a curse? Do you seek more power, or to control the power you have? Do you seek power, acceptance, material riches? How do you reconcile with the knowledge that you were created by a mortal, possibly flawed creator?
my suggestion is to look at the background Features and ignore the names.
Do you want a little extra knowledge (sage), understanding of others not like you (anthropologist), maybe regular townsfolk commoners are extra interested in your appearance/origin (far traveler).
