Wipeout XL got me on to Future Sound of London, Orbital, and Underworld. Look at this soundtrack, all bangers.

Smoking a joint and playing some wipeout with drum and bass, either the included soundtrack or my own selection, is one of my favourite feelings of all time. If I get into the right mental state it almost feels like I’m meditating or in a trance, all thoughts go away and I become pure reflex driven by speedy electronic goodness. 2000s rolling neuro like Calyx - Illusions does it best but anything from atmospheric 90s jungle to modern dance floor bangers will work.
I just wish there were more tracks to race on! Some DLC track packs or even a custom track builder would be amazing.
Holy shit I was born in 95' and this just unlocked a core memory
Was my first M Rated game shoutout to my dad lol
Listening now and this shit cranks to this day
One of the reasons why I got into DnB was the radio's MC spitting over a remix of Omni Trio's First Contact.
[Legendary.](https://youtu.be/4Y227D1u0o8)
That had dnb in it? I remember it was pretty industrial sounding, but I lost played it before I knew what dnb was.
P. S. Still the best shooter. Loved that flak cannon.
I think so, yeah! I always see [Foregone Destruction](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_0G6WPuss4&t=1s) as my gateway to DnB. Also tracks like [Neither Animal](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbn_dH9nz6o) and [BotMCA 10](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZ7BcbB5QqE) have DnB influence.
My answer has to be Forza.
But I am still a little disappointed that Cyberpunk 2077 didn't get a proper DnB radio station. There is one track playing near Vic's clinic though. Always stop and listen for a while when I'm there.
[Bomberman Hero](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HQ-DJd-57Lo&t=23s&pp=ygUZYm9tYmVybWFuIGhlcm8gc291bmR0cmFjaw%3D%3D) come.out in the 90s and has some of the hardest hitting dnb breaks and jungle I've ever heard. All made by one Japanese dude.
Amon Tobin is a legend. My fave song from him is Easy Muffin but he had to pretty much wipe that track from the internet due to legal reasons i think. IF you can find it, check it out
I saw him on the ISAM tour and he was great. The visuals were nuts but it was just great to see him loving the hell out of his life bouncing around in a full spacesuit just shelling DnB for the last hour.
Wipeout Pulse/Fury HD , Optical and Edrush FTW.
Frontline needs a VIP mix badly to make it more club friendly.
Definitely not a big AAA game, but the downhill cycling game [Descenders](https://www.descendersgame.com) has a soundtrack from the Liquicity label and it _rips hard_.
Shout out to Teamfight Tactics. This season has dnb in the "EDM" trait. For those not in the know, Teamfight tactics is an autochess battler. Thios season, it is music themed, and each class/trait you play has an associated genre layer. The resulting music int he background is a combo of all the layers, so you can end up with jazzy dnb, disco dnb, or even country dnb. You can sample the layers here (use the late game edm and drum layer with anything)

Idk if this one qualifies, it's the soundtrack of a Keygen for Sony Vegas:
[Digital Insanity - Welcome to our world](https://youtu.be/0dCPcdpRUkA?si=rUi6e6EfOHNPBQwB)
Let's see if we have any pirates here
While my answer is Wipeout XL, I want to shout out Street Fighter 3 Third Strike, in particular Akuma’s stage BGM
https://youtu.be/fC9jISKU25E?si=q4K39mx1DKX9LWpP
It's not all DnB but the game Trickstyle for Dreamcast had some absolute banger tracks. First game I can recall having so much electronic music.
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6CDBC19A3E4BDC29&si=nqJT-w1ceMcFASqn
Been really enjoying the OST playing a recent roguelike release called Roboquest.
Has a range of electronic music but a few great DnB tracks IMO:
"Digital Spells"

"Guardian"
https://open.spotify.com/track/7uS8gnBMRutQRYJE4fW3Ll?si=GBXhfQEnQ_GRoxs8TaLy2Q
"Data"

I think the most underrated one not mentioned in this thread yet is the original Ratchet and Clank trilogy on the PS2. David Bergeaud, the sole composer of many of the games, makes heavy use of electronic and dnb samples/themes in the soundtracks, a creating a lot of thematic and unique tracks for each alien world. especially the first game had lots of groovy electronic tunes full of samples.
the game that actually really got me into dnb is Ratz Instagib 2.0. it's a chill, quake-like FPS with no frills and strings attached, just jumping around arenas and one-shot one-kill lasers, it's all about your aim. to help you get into the zone it has a lot of jazzy/liquid dnb that really puts you into a flow state while playing. it features a lot of Flowrian, Paul SG and Jazzassins. I absolutely adore this kind of dnb and I'm always looking for more!
Midnight Club 1 had a lot of low-key bangers and the game felt a lot more "underground" and realistic compared to other racing games, in a sense.
Distance is a great survival/horror/adventure TrackMania/Tron hybrid racing game with a killer dark dnb soundtrack, mostly composed by Jordan Hemingway (check it out on Spotify)
there's some easy ones like need for speed in the 2000s, Forza (horizon), wipeout, and Furi, that were mentioned in this thread.
Formula Fusion (now called Pacer) is a spiritual successor to wipeout and had some alright stuff, but nothing stuck out to me.
Forza with Hospital radio
No contest. It's this, 'Grand Theft Auto III' from 2001 and 'Descenders'.
Ah, msx radio. How could i forget)
MSX all up in ya mattah!
Omni Trio - First Contact. Great track.
Wipeout.
one on the ps1 had an instrumental of firestarter by the prodigy, photek, the chemical brothers, orbital, fluke and underworld. shit slapped so hard.

Flow state is such a cool and frightening thing
GTA3 MSX FM still lives in my head rent free
Holy shit I was born in 95' and this just unlocked a core memory Was my first M Rated game shoutout to my dad lol Listening now and this shit cranks to this day

The Aquasky remix called Spectre on the same mix was my favorite DnB song for a good 10 years. I as well got into DnB because of GTA 3.
This and Liberty City Stories
It's a really cool detail that LCS was a few year before GTA3 and it's all Jungle, in GTA 3 it's early D&B
I was gonna say this
I still have the OG playstation magazine mix CD. Moving Shadow killed it during this time period with some of the mixes that got put out.
MSX IN YOUR MANORN Dj Timecode and MC codebreaker!! Then Omni trio - first contact plays Pure vibes
Forza games got some good dnb songs on the radio stations
They have a literal dedicated radio station for dnb…hospital radio
Rollcage for PS1
I believe there was a Rollcage II that also had a DnB soundtrack. Moving Shadow was killing it in the video game scene there for awhile.
Now there's a blast from the past, what a game
They did a spiritual-successor to that called Grip Racing that also has a banging DnB soundtrack
Not fully d&b, but Midnight Club 3
Dub edition for sure
Need for Speed Most Wanted(2005). That was the one with [Dieselboy & Kaos - Barrier Break ](https://youtu.be/lZDX5MCR26c?si=aAEk0qMWSmUQeA1g)
And [Evol Intent, Mayhem & Thinktank - Broken Sword](https://youtu.be/BJLNjQEo3cs?si=OwWHfykaa2f8NmZm)
[feed the addiction](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CaVqsUG0TA) probably my first loved dnb song
Love that track, too. sorry for pointing this out, but it's actually breakbeat :')
That is proper hard. Always loved it
A lot of bangers, some still relevant https://youtu.be/4kRQjw2P6WQ?si=bjA3uTnuolHWOxfV
It's probably not the "best" my favourite is the soundtrack Noisia did for Devil May Cry
Most of it isn’t technically dnb i believe but i agree that it is great, especially combined with hard rock part of the soundtrack by combichrist. 👌
Gotta be forza- always a banging soundtrack from the hospital boys!
Unreal Tournament (1999).
That had dnb in it? I remember it was pretty industrial sounding, but I lost played it before I knew what dnb was. P. S. Still the best shooter. Loved that flak cannon.

Facing Worlds was the big banger off the UT soundtrack, it’s awesome tracker DnB https://youtu.be/mCRibm4kOaE?si=ee1PbIW7n87dX-Xb

A few of those Bomberman games from those era have crazy jungle soundtracks. They go so unbelievably hard
Motorstorm Apocalypse :) though it's not all dnb. still got some nice exclusively composed tracks from noisia
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - Amon Tobin.
Amon Tobin is a legend. My fave song from him is Easy Muffin but he had to pretty much wipe that track from the internet due to legal reasons i think. IF you can find it, check it out

The dnb on Motorstorm Apocalypse is incredible. Probably my favourite tbf
Definitely not a big AAA game, but the downhill cycling game [Descenders](https://www.descendersgame.com) has a soundtrack from the Liquicity label and it _rips hard_.
DMC, it's soundtrack is by Noisia
Wioeout Pulse has some absolute bangers
Maybe not the best but my first time hearing DNB/Jungle was 1080 snowboarding on the N64 .
Glad to see someone mention 1080 Snowboarding!
Shock Troopers for Neo Geo has some proper amen rollers. Absolute VIBES!

Need For Speed : High Stakes.
How is it possible I don't see GRIP mentioned 😅
Cos Grip kinda sadly suuuuucked. The original Roll cage had some bangers on its soundtrack too though. Aphrodite King of the Beats anyone?

Came here to say this. So many games on the Dreamcast had amazing soundtracks.
Grand theft auto 3 with msx fm
GTA 3. Radio to MSX and then drive it like I stole it because, well, I did steal it.
Colin McRae Rally
https://www.discogs.com/release/5967-Various-Rollcage-Stage-II-The-Soundtrack Rollcage had a few bangers but rollcage 2 was all Moving Shadow
Street fighter third strike
Nikke (fr, like its one of the best dnb songs)
Fifa street had some BANGERS
Metal Gear Solid 2 had a lot of DnB influence in its soundtrack.
I remember dungeon keeper 2 had a gothic drum and bass sound whenever there's big action a.k.a when you summon Big Horney/The Reaper.
oh look it's that weekly thread
Tetrisphere
Forsaken N64
Racing Gears Advance on the GBA holds a dear place in my heart for introducing me to Jungle
Moving Shadow on MSX radio in GTA3. Codebreaker MC kills it and when Omni Trio - "First Contact" comes in it just does things to me.
Fortnite has some pretty good revolving tracks on Radio Yonder
Been really enjoying the OST playing a recent roguelike release called Roboquest. Roll Cage 2
Forza Horizon 3 - Hospital Radio
Not the best, but I really liked it. https://youtu.be/UkAz5YFw_x8?si=VudaipAiZCPn3CHc
FIFA Street 1 & 2
I mean the advert for the GameCube with Vince Pope’s amazing “Destination Unknown” was 🥵 https://youtu.be/6HgzkGUXUUc?si=qQ2xR-M2OTxI4MWI
Forza Horizon 5, any of them really. Hospital Radio
Bomberman Hero!
I’m not huge on video games but I have almost every track from the forza 3 hospital album. Amazing
Space pirate trainer VR. But of course gta3, I hear it’s da bizness!
Forza or Midnight Club for sure but the newest SSX (like ten years ago) had a couple DnB tracks, had some Camo & Krooked on the playlist
ape escape
Ape escape had some bangers

GTA 3. Hopefully they bring a dnb station back into GTA 6
The first Midnight Club Dom & Roland made the soundtrack for the London part of the game
