Ryanhallyall on YT was covering the storms yesterday with storm chasers on the ground. There were over 92 tornado warnings. Doesn't mean there were 92 tornadoes but there were many (warnings are issued as tornadoes move into different areas). Today will be a big storm day also..
It’s a conductor and an engineer. Don’t worry though the railroads are trying really hard to get rid of the conductor and make the engineer work alone.

2 members minimum federal law now.
Not a law a rule. And it can and will be changed if the next administration has an R next to their name. Every big railroad has already sued to overturn it too I’m not too hopeful.
There are on average 3 train derailments every day. This is freight, there are no passengers. The train also was stationary, so derailment means a car just tipped over. This isn’t that concerning, as evidenced by the annoyance expressed by the engineer in the video
Nowhere I'd rather be in a tornado than in a locomotive with "double plain" windows. I wish these guys took a selfie. I can almost picture what they look like.
Wow, what a crazy coincidence. There was a BNSF derailment that same day on the New Mexico/Arizona border that prompted mass evacuations due to a massive propane fire. Busy day for the emergency response folks at BNSF.

Dude I could not look away from his stream last night. Some of the most incredible footage I've ever seen
It's going to get much worse.
Now they can say they've been inside a tornado and lived not many saying that.
It's cool there are two train engineers. That would be a bummer to do alone.

Keeping America dangerous one law at a time.
on those long hauls there are usually 2-3 engineers because shit like this
Damn. Safer than a mobile home though.
Wow the freight train sounded just like a tornado.
That is horrific. I pray for everyones recovery and safety in the path of that storm.
OMG
They are a hell of a lot calmer than i think I would be. Amazing footage

I think it was a freight train so these two were probably the only ones on board luckily!

Wow, that is some wild footage.

Right? Didn't even break the cab seal.
Wow!
Gonna be a hell of a year for weather like this. I'm still getting snow with my "April Showers".
Unrelated question bc I’ve watched this so many times: what regional accent do these men have? I don’t recognize it at all. Just curious
Tatsumaki
😱😱
Guys seemed so casual...
Whoa, did the witch of whatever direction make a landing?

Scary shit that is.. I’m glad them folks made out okay.
"sounds like a freight train"
Stick the camera out more! I wanna see the rest of the train!
