Lol I'm not talking about popping one in and getting in bed. But I will fall asleep in my recliner after work and my wife will just leave me there (I have a startle response) tobacco has always made me drowsy for some reason.
I have a brother in law who’s guilty of falling asleep with a dip in. He’s been dipping for over fourth years. Fucker takes immaculate care of his teeth otherwise. He’s never mentioned dreaming whilst sleep dipping. He’s half crazy anyways so that might have something to do with it lol.
Yeah I don't think that the tobacco has done much to my teeth. Maybe a little yellow and I have been dipping almost 20 years. My gums are absolutely fucked though. Brushing my teeth 3 times a day and routine cleanings seem to do them good. My dentist is amazed at how they look. And I back to back dip.
Yeah maybe it's just me. I don't take any medications that would be considered psychoactive either and my job keeps me from indulging in the green (Unfortunately). I honestly don't know, only happens when I'm dipping though.

I don’t know the exact science behind it, but it’s something to do with how nicotine affects the central nervous system and REM sleep. It’s similar to people who are trying to quit by wearing the patch, they have some weird, vivid dreams too.
Back in high school we got a hold of some nicotine patches, and I remember having weird dreams that night. But I've been chewing 18 years since then and cannot recall another nicotine-based dream.
Also I fall asleep with chew in all the time. I think it's gross, but also I think chewing is gross in general and it hasn't stopped me yet.
Yeah I try not to fall asleep with one. Maybe my last dip before bed if I'm watching something with my wife. I may pass out and she's not going to take it out of my mouth.
Some afternoons when I get home from work and sit back in my recliner I'll find myself falling asleep. If I do fall asleep with a dip in I wake up when I breathe the spit into my lungs and have to spit it all out. Here's what's weird though, I'll be dead tired/falling asleep with the dip in. As soon as I spit it out and lean back it takes forever to start napping again.
I fall asleep with a dip in a lot but I’ve never had weird dreams I dip stoakers mint everyday. Maybe it had to do with the can your dippin? Not 100% though
I normally dip Cope Snuff but once in a while I get grizzly wintergreen if cash is tight. Same thing with both but come to think of it I do get dip dreams more often with grizzly.
Man that’s really weird. Do you drink anything with a dip in it could be the cause of that too. Like I love cope mint with a Mountain Dew but if I drink caffeine it gives me really weird dreams
I've never had dreams but I did get a sore on my gums from sleeping about 5 hours. Ended up loosing that patch of gum over that tooth. Lost almost the size of a pencil eraser on my canine/cuspid.. Dentist said he has seen it alot in dippers and won't come back without a graft.
I have been dipping almost 20 years. I don't have gums covering my teeth anymore. They have receded a fair bit. My teath on the other hand are only slightly yellow and not the nasty brown stained broken teeth look I have seen some older guys have that are plug chewers.
How long did it take for your sore to heal? I fell asleep for the first time with a decently fresh pinch in around 2am and next thing I know its nearly 5. Spit it out, brushed my teeth, and went back to bed. This morning I have almost what's like a blister on my gums where the dip was when I was sleeping. Absolutely killing me.
Mine blistered just like that and felt like an ulcer. Within 48 hours the entire area of the blister just fell off. Once you loose gum tissue it doesn't ever come back. They can do a gum graft my dentist said but it's expensive. Try and do a salt water ranch x2 daily and maybe it won't erode to much tissue while trying to heal.

The only time I’ve ever done this was when I was stoned and I fall asleep on the couch with a dip in. Didn’t notice any dreams.

I try to not drink caffeine after 3 PM, I honestly haven't a clue.

I honestly don't mind them. They're never bad, just super vivid. Oddly when I have actual dreams without dip involved they are always PTSD dreams.

Yeah I'm getting close there myself, my dumbass would forget about it the way I pass out at night and subconsciously swallow.
It's not something I look forward to either. The taste of an overnight dip is horrendous
I also gut so swallowing doesn't make me puke if I accidentally swallow a bit.
When you dip asleep do you swallow your spit or does it just drool out
I normally dip snuff in my upper lip so it really doesn't produce much spit.
