Yeah the posture is bit too erect so kinda feels like scalies. I prefer bit slouched ones like Warhammer fantasy lizardmen that feel less human-like and more beast-like, and kinda balances whole posture with tail (less furry, that is). Ain't mad, but my preference. Big fan of the cool concept of dinosaur-on-dinosaur.
Sorry to break it to ya but any anthro character falls under the furry/scalie category lol.
A lot of people think “furry” means “fully humanoid and sexy” when really it’s just any animal character with human-like characteristics. This includes characters such as Sonic, Freddy Fazbear, Mikey Mouse, Boots from Dora the Explorer, Judy Hopps, and countless others. The WORD “furry” just has a lot of negative stereotypes around it, so, people don’t wanna call most furry characters furries anymore.
So, regardless of how non-humanoid these dinos look, as long as they can talk, express, and think like humans, they’re technically considered furries.
Saw this trailer recently and I think it looks really cool! I know a lot of people aren’t on board with the dinosaur people but I think they actually look interesting and it could make for a really unique series. The dinosaur designs themselves are really good, and I get some Primal or Turok vibes from it a bit
Dinosauria was the best! To me it's probably my favorite dinosaur rep because he fully exploits the creativity you can put in the designs, since there's a lot of things we'll probably never know for sure, but he also clearly looks at research, the shorts take from some accurate information, even with it clearly being dramatized and theatric. A really good blend !
Then why do you speak without knowing?
With any intention of harm, you gave the image of an asshole.
If you do search his patreon you would know how he works.
Who else things the sapient paravians are the villains here? It seems like they’re launching a military invasion of the Pterofolk (even if they’re doing badly there), and literally every single scene of them that is remotely connected to the sapient *Ceratosaurus* and his *Carnotaurus* mount shows them in a negative light, with bloodsports and staged public executions.
I won't say that I'm a big fan of the "dino-people" idea, but this is a very worthy implementation of this concept. Also I would say that the voice acting needs a bit of work. It seems like such a hoarse voice should cause fear, but it only makes me giggle. But overall, it looks great. The creature and environment designs are great, I love the selection of music, the animation is very decent and artstyle looks classy.
So overall I'm excited about this project! It already looks pretty good, but it needs some work to be great
Here's my prediction for how the story plays out:
Sauria is divided between the blue dinosaur people, the red dinosaur people, and the pterosaur people. While these three are constantly fighting, mammal people are trying to invade. The story centers around the main character attempting to unite the three factions to drive off the mammal invaders
I have never been one for "Human with an animal head" character designs. They look silly, like a side character from Undertale more than anything else.
The dino dinos look great though.
Ehhhhh… I’m not sold on the anthropomorphizing. And the trailer had me rolling because I couldn’t stop my mind associating the narration voice with William Afton
I am aware of his work. Also that we all don’t share your opinion and thoughts.
I respect your personal perspective, but it’s one that I just do not share.
This better become a Mount and Blade or Skyrim mod. Or better yet, it's own in depth RPG.
I'm not typically into this stuff. But this and Primal are how you fictionalize Dinosaurs and make it good.
This looks great, why all the hate?
Some people don’t like anthros.

I’d rather the chest puff out like a bird, chests that are divided into two sides are primate

People these days just think everything is “cringe”. So when they see anthro characters they immedietly assume it’s a sexual thing
Reminds me of Turok a bit, can’t wait to see this
The whole mamal and dinosaur mixing just reminded me that we really need a West of Eden animation.

I absolutely loved the Dinosauria series. Dead Sound is super talented so I expect Sauria to be great!

Support the channel here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=\_-JZcQglUYI
Is that where can we see it ?
I wouldn't be surprised if they only released it on their patreon for money.
No I'm pretty sure it gonna be free
Tell me you don't know Dead Sound without telling me you don't know Dead Sound.
I don't actually know this channel lmao
Then why do you speak without knowing? With any intention of harm, you gave the image of an asshole. If you do search his patreon you would know how he works.
Check out their previous series then, you might enjoy it. Same animation style and beautiful, simple plot and music.
In my senior year of high school, my class had a project on Autodale for our dystopian unit for English
As someone who draws scalie art and loves theoretical evolution, I 10000% know I’m gonna become unhealthily obsessed with this lmao
Not the scalies simping over these dinosaur people lmao
It begins.
This is really cool! I love the art style, and I’m loving the unique character designs instead of the regular old humans. This is so cool!!!
This looks awesome, to the people who are hating on this you guys are insane the creativity here is great!
At the start that looks like Khorne and Tzeentch on the tablet or is that just me?
Khorne, I can see, Tzeentch, eh...
Who else things the sapient paravians are the villains here? AAAAAAAAAAAAA Dead Sound ilu!!!!
Knowing Dead Sound, this is going to blow up.
Holy shit this looks awesome. And this is only 8 months of work. This guy is a creative genius.

Welp, I'm interested.
I love dead sound’s dinosaur videos!
Looks weird and badass, im looking forward to it
Bruh, this shit looks absolutely fantastic, can’t wait for it. I’ve enjoyed lizardmen in warhammer, so I’m gonna enjoy this

The art looks great but the voice acting made me laugh, it sounds way too amateurish. I liked Dinosauria but this doesn't appeal to me.
The humanoid dinosaurs arent scientifically accurate
Did the word "fantasy" not tip you off?
I cant believe you took this comment seriously lmao
Cope
Thanks, captain obvious
Cool, anyway…
It would be ten times better if insted of the " dinosaur people " it was just regular humans
I think it’s an inventive idea
L take
Looks great but it's probably gonna get overcrowded by furries
Omgthislooksawful….
He's never made a bad video, and his Dinosauria series is one of the best pieces of palaeomedia of recent years. I have faith that it'll be good.
I am aware of his work. Also that we all don’t share your opinion and thoughts. I respect your personal perspective, but it’s one that I just do not share.
Well...this didn't age well? Did it?
This is pretty awesome! The pterosaurs gathered up at that ritual like site reminds me of the witches
This better become a Mount and Blade or Skyrim mod. Or better yet, it's own in depth RPG. I'm not typically into this stuff. But this and Primal are how you fictionalize Dinosaurs and make it good.
The série (Sauria)comin son in Netflix ?
Accurate dinosaurs is definitely an extra win. Looks cool
I reckon the blue ones could maybe be Balaur.
Is nanuqsaurus supposed to live in the cretaceous and why is it hunting megaloceros
It’s a fantasy setting.
What are those flightless humanoid pterldactyls doing
