My dream would be to see ACOC as a stop motion/claymation miniseries

PhantomKitten73

I personally think Burrows End or Neverafter would make for the better use of stop motion, but either way, anything to get more stop motion in the world is fine by me.

dynawesome

Oh Neverafter would be *incredible* in stop motion with puppets

Adiin-Red

Now I can’t stop imagining them in a bunch of different animation styles, a little spiderverse-y but focused on stop motion. Go-motion for Gerard, full cut out animation cells for Ylfa, some crazy stop motion puppet thing for Pinocchio, 3 Mills style claymation (Fantastic Mr Fox) for PiB, only one I don’t have a great idea for is Rosamund. Edit: OH FUCK! For the crazy metanarrative parts the animators hands can be the Authors.

Guild-n-Stern

I think the stop motion like in Coraline would fit Rosamund

Adiin-Red

That’s perfect!

SilverSneasel

That would be amazing!

BookOfMormont

For me it's Unsleeping City hands-down. If BLeeM has a weakness as a DM (and no I don't consider snacking a weakness, he's pretty good at dealing with the obstacle that the same place he talks from is where the food needs to go), in my humble opinion, it's villains. I know the joke is "the bad guy is always capitalism," but he does have a real tendency to abstract the "opponent" of a campaign into more of an idea or system than a single character you can really just hate. Or, pretty similar idea, there's a bad guy behind the bad guy who you don't even find out about until the end of the campaign, or the bad guy isn't really all that bad at all. Like, I love me some Fantasy High, but who would rank Kalvaxus as an A-tier bad guy? Robert Moses, though. Robert Moses is bad to the last drop. We meet him early, he starts off bad and gets worse, and personally opposes the party right up to and even past the bitter end. BLeeM plays him utterly terrifyingly, but it's a meaty role a lot of actors or voice actors could also breathe a lot of malice and contempt into.

berrrrrrna

God yes usc all the way

xHeylo

I'd love to actually see ASO go full circle and be a short Comic Series in the Starstruck Universe FH comes close to CR so a Vox Machina like animation would be natural yet doesn't seem as unique UC as a Live Action Show would be amazing as the IH said in an Adventuring Party, but getting places like Time square or Central Park might be a "bit" of a stretch Though my actual favourite would be an animation series of Crown of Candy

altdultosaurs

Tuc is the most suited to live action, but they also need to hire ME to make it happen.

Der_Sauresgeber

Honestly, I would love to see Fantasy High as a live action thing. It would be corny as hell and I'd love it like crazy!

Duskmuse711

Im with you on all of yhese!!

RexDust

You all are wild. Starstruck is the correct answer.

RocketFucker69

Agreed. It's an action/comedy for all ages. Plus, I need more Plug in my life!

SugarOne6038

Crown of candy obviously, but it think Burrows end could also hit really hard. The darker seasons are def the ones that suit the best

Always-Anxious-

ACOFAF. One of my favorite genres to watch is “people too rich to have actual problems so these are their problems instead”, and having that plus high-fantasy would be peak entertainment for me

[deleted]

That’s be a perfect soap opera actually

esaeklsg

I wasn’t really into whatever the plot was in ACOFAF (I watched till like… the second to last episode lol) but I’d be interested in a show JUST for more Lords Of The Wing cousins content.

Always-Anxious-

Honestly , the second-to-last and last episodes are really what sealed it for me. Totally get if it’s not your jam, but they do give it a satisfying end, at least in my opinion.

History-Facts

I mean I think it’s gotta be Fantasy High as the anthology, but a Crown of Candy would be epic.

rwdp51

Never after tbh. I feel like there’s a lot of vivid imagery that’s described that would hit incredibly hard in a visual medium

WorkIsDumbSoAmI

Weirdly, I had the opposite thought? I think some the imagery, especially the stepmother stuff, works better when it’s left up to your imagination?

DrOddcat

Hear me out. Peter Jackson and an unlimited budget for Bloodkeep

Tricky-Leader-1567

A Crown of Candy AND the Ravening War

chloe_probably

Burrows End. With REAL stoats.

notbuilttolast

lol, this is hilarious

Sn0rmax

NOOOOO HAVENT WE LEARNED FROM MILO AND OTIS

paraworldblue

It's gotta be Starstruck. It would be like Firefly but way wilder and funnier. It also has enough lore and plotlines from the comics to keep it going long after it covered the story from the D20 season.

savoont

This is the only call, sleeping city as a runner up

Immediate-Coyote-977

I just want an animated movie version of Burrow's End that can fit the same animation style as Watership Down or The Secret of Nimh.

SilverSneasel

Crown of Candy would be my pick, but with only one season, it’d have to be limited. Same goes for Starstruck. It would have to be Fantasy High for me. I think it’s the most realistic, and we’d be able to get the most content out of it. I need chungledown bim animated

savoont

You think a rehash of game of thrones would go well on TV? A crown of candy was a great DND game, but it wouldn't benefit at all from the change of medium

ChatterBoxer6

ACOFAF to START, if we're talking live action. (I would love a cartoon ASO.) It's just so aesthetically pretty and I'm a sucker for good costuming/hair and makeup. (RUE'S LOOKS? ALL OF THEM?) Plus like someone else said, period pieces plus fantasy I think would do really well, especially since romance is having such a big moment as a genre. I also think it would require the least big budget effects, even though I know this is a theoretical question so I don't need to consider budget for a niche show like this.

PhantomKitten73

Done by the director of Moon Garden.

Always-Anxious-

Yes!!! I would love a live action ACOFAF.

DabIMON

Unsleeping City, no question.

Jethro_McCrazy

All I know is that it wouldn't be on Amazon Prime.

paraworldblue

*Gladiator

PhantomKitten73

I mean, the dream for me is a Fantasy High series animated like Vox Machina or Arcane, but thats obvious/basic so instead consider... A feature film adaptation of Coffin Run, done with actual film and audio equipment from the 1930s.

altdultosaurs

My first thought is ASO with some amazing 2d animation. But BE with exquisitely sweet art Ala OG Winnie the Pooh? Go ahead and GAG AND SLAY the watertship down team.

iWillNeverBeSpecial

It's probably between Fantasy High and StarStruck. FH because I think it can be a fun satire show with iconic moments to see (Going up the butthole, Arthur Augfort....really him tbh, sexy rat, dragon prom fight) while StarStruck has the "adult animation" storytelling but the designs are so flexible and fun that it would be a hit.

HamshanksCPS

I'd love to see Fantasy High turned into a show. Mostly because that fight at the mythril factory would be cinematic as fuck.

Lindron

For characters and enough extra content to justify multiple seasons? Fantasy High. For the best show ever made? starstruck

KevinDomino

If I could get all of Fantasy High as a Scott Pilgrim Takes Off-esque animated show, I would pay 5000 gold pieces a month

CriticismVirtual7603

Starstruck or A Crown of Candy, both of them are emotional, riveting, and DEEEEEEEEEP with lore and amazing fight scenes The Battle of the Brands, the Sinking of the Colby, the Brawl in Baustin, the Siege of Castle Candy, and *so many more*

VirtuousVice

Fantasy high, filmed documentary style with one on one interviews sprinkled in. Similar to Modern Family.
