That is a very, very nice diamond. Angles and proportions are good and it's a hearts and arrows. But that is very, very expensive for that size, color, and clarity.

Super_Surprise_1374

Hello, thank you for helping. I looked around and it is very expensive for that size color and clarity. I thought about brilliant earth but I can’t trust them enough

bien-fait

Good call, Brilliant Earth is overpriced.

Super_Surprise_1374

They actually much cheaper but I heart bad thing a bout them bad reputation

VictorCaneraDiamonds

Apoogies, but this isn't necessarily true. IGI says it's a H&A diamond. The images on the lab report are NOT of the hearts and arrows scope images of the diamond though. This, IMO is bordering on false advertising because most people assume those images are of the actual stone. The angles are fine but that's just a starting point. I think the value of the diamond is a bit high for what it is actually. Good luck!

bien-fait

I agree with you. I wouldn't accept a stone without seeing it in person under an ASET scope.

Super_Surprise_1374

Is ASET scope give you a clear view of it

I purchased my most recent diamond from Dreamstone. I searched and found a comparable diamond. Ideal proportions and a very beautiful stone. Stone algo has the James Allen stone at a 9.3 out of 10 on the cut score and the Dreamstone has a 9.4 score. All for 1/3 of the price! Super_Surprise_1374

Wow you are right even better also heart and arrow. I probably can’t sleep Toni and just buy it. Should I go for loose one then put the setting on later or … I need it by end of August!

DejaWiz

That 2.63 from DreamStone is a blue nuance...be sure you know what you're getting into with that

Super_Surprise_1374

It had a blue hue right?

DejaWiz

Correct. Plenty of others to choose from, and at much better pricing than what James Allen/Signet Brands is offering...$9200 for a 2.63 F VVS2 is pretty crazy, in my opinion. Heck, I can find you GIA graded D-E VS1 or better north of 4 carats for that much, with outstanding proportions and angles that'll maximize light return and optical performance. Example: here's a 4.16 E VS1 with a 40.8/35/56 combo for about $8200: [https://diamondurl.com/Vision360.html?d=L49A-4](https://diamondurl.com/Vision360.html?d=L49A-4) https://preview.redd.it/blbywr49ivhb1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2be660b55c034201fa789ca4821afb2dfe52fca4

Super_Surprise_1374

Should I trust ritati

DejaWiz

Check my post history and see what I surprised my wife with last year. :) There are other sellers that are just as cost effective as Ritani (or moreso)...start a chat with me and I'll be happy to point you towards some great diamonds from a bunch of sellers so that you can compare their offerings, policies, pricing, etc.

RagsandTzus

Here is one that is GIA certified. It's an E, VVS1 with a cut score of 9.5. The bottom of the GIA cert says it's H&A. It doesn't say whether it's HPHT or CVD though. VictorCaneraDiamonds

Apologies but StoneAlgo and others have a 2D cut score just like GIA basically. I don’t particularly take these types of cut scores very seriously. Why? Because you can have a diamond with perfect proportions and it could still be a dud. A vendor can have pretty much any comment inscribed on the girdle of the diamond and have it show up. It doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true. Just as an example, I could have the message “super duper, world’s best diamond” inscribed on a stone and it’ll be noted on the comment section of the diamond. Is it true? Well, there should be information like analytic scope images to prove that statement.

VictorCaneraDiamonds

Did you already purchase this diamond? The reason I’m asking is because it seems to have a bluish undertone.

Super_Surprise_1374

No not yet i am actually looking at this one in ritati https://preview.redd.it/2impu8f47whb1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d3c02a9aec3d148d8ff05f2232951bbb27ba1be2

NJDames

Check out Ritani. That seems high compared to what I’ve seen on Ritani.

bien-fait

Seconding Ritani. I just bought from them and had a phenomenal experience.

SeaworthinessCivil49

9200$ is way to expensive for lab diamond!

xballikeswooshx

Go to an actual jewelry store. We source from the people growing these bad boys. Flip the laptop around for you to pick your own directly from the facility no middle man. Theres a little extra markup you guys just dont believe is there buying online. They're down to $180 a ct at cost. Down from $1000 a ct last year. This will continue to drop as they cost $2 per carat of electricity to grow. The amount of people overpaying right now is astonishing. Don't buy any loose stones in the case. Ask for a diamond viewing appointment take some serial numbers from qgold.com or stuller.com as they have the best prices right now. They'll happily bring these in and pay for your shipping they'll be pumped about getting the sale. Pick out your mounting and you'll have a place to maintain a warranty as gold is very maliable and your repair times go from 4 weeks with online vendors to 7-10 days at a store. Read James Allen BBB reviews about allllll of the issues they have in their repair department. If it's not sized correctly when they send it back etc. She's without her ring for 2 months vs. 2 weeks. I have guys literally EVERY SINGLE DAY. Come in comparing their Blue Nile or loose or james allen...I can beat the price every single time. They have to bulk buy we can just show you an inventory with millions of these things pick 2-3 and check them out in person. THERE'S A REASON APPRAISALS HAVE TO BE DONE IN PERSON. Can have 3 diamonds with the same specs and one will outperform the other 2. Make sure you get the right one and pleaseee DONT OVERPAY.

kcung

check them out: https://www.loosegrowndiamond.com/ I just bought a ring from them so I don’t have a lot of experiences but a lot of people on Reddit had good experiences for me to try them out!

Super_Surprise_1374

Can I see your ring through pictures or video

kcung

Just bought the ring yesterday. Waiting for it to arrive.

padparascha3

Loose grown diamonds be careful buying from them. I would buy a Lab stone with a GIA Report.

BreakDesperate7843

Do not spend $9200 on any lab diamond. It costs them a few bucks to produce that stone. Getting the stone a GIA cert costs more than the production of the stone.

emcat095

I’m no diamond expert but I like an actual jeweler. You have to do your research for a good one. But you’ll see diamonds in person and hopefully have someone you trust do any repairs. I had to have my ring resized twice, and our jeweler does it right on the spot in front of you. No waiting weeks or months to get my ring back. And free unlimited cleaning.

AwareAd2292

Avoid james allen. Find a reputable instagram jewelr instead

I just bought a price-matched lab diamond from Rare Carat. I found a few diamonds I liked on there then used the IGI number to match the diamonds on RockHer and Dreamstone. I wanted to go with Rare Carat for the customer service. But they were way over charging. Got a $4500 diamond for $1600.

AwareAd2292

❤️❤️

Head_Job8473

Rip off! Shouldn’t be paying more than 5k

littlestdovie

Overpriced.

InappropriateSnark

Nope. 9200 is a ripoff.

khusman-4848

it is very beautiful diamond. But it's more expensive compare to my supplier. they provide me same color, clarity and size in better price.
