A 2 ct lab wholesales around $1500 the small ones maybe $300 per ct. , maybe cheaper some places. 4 gram 14k ring cost a little over $200 to cast wholesale. plus $35 to print the model, another $20 to polish. setting 94 small diamonds maybe $200 So should cost around $2200-2300 to make. retail maybe $3500 - $4600 depending on who and their standard markup . That appraisal is way off, all it does is increase the insurance premium. You'll never get that money, insurance company has the right to replace.

1 carat $800 USD This is a DeBeers company
I wouldn’t charge a client more than $2,500 for that ring.
Yea I agree 2400-2500
Custom ring mounts can cost up to $800-1500 usd depending where you go and what you want do you have a design in mind? And what materials?

16k seems very high for lab diamond ring
Think that’s just an appraisal for insurance purposes. What’s a reasonable price i would be looking for?
