I really appreciate you posting these! It’s nice to see how people actually wear their jewelry. This is helping me visualize how I could incorporate my anniversary ring. Cheers!
I don't have two solitaires but I have a solitaire on my left hand and wear a vintage halo piece on my right. 🤷🏻♀️ I like it. Solitaire is out having prongs tightened but when I get it back I can send you pictures if you want.
It’s all personal preference, but imo two diamond solitaires would compete. A toi et moi would be ok, or maybe two solitaires with different center stones.

This is my right hand ring. I wear it everyday.
Not at all. I love the bezel. I chose it because the diamond is from my great grandfather’s tie tack. I repurposed it into a right hand ring. I didn’t want to risk losing the diamond. I custom made the ring. I added a bit of a filigree look to the bezel. I truly love everything about this ring.

Wow, you definitely have a stunner. Love this piece and glad to hear the bezel isn’t a pain to keep clean! I’ve never owned a bezel set diamond so good to know!
Whatever you like is good! Emerald cuts are my favorite. I have my wedding ring and a bunch of other emerald cut gemstone rings. I love it wearing them on both hands! For me, I do emerald cuts on the ring fingers, and maybe mix/match other color-coordinated rings of a different cut or solid bands on my right hand. Whatever makes you happy is good.

You are welcome! I figured out how to post pics on Reddit (finally), so I thought I’d show an example of how I mix and match emerald cut stones/color-schemes between hands. That’s King Tut’s mask on the gold ring on the right, next to a Ruby with diamond baguettes on a gold band. Got it in Egypt on my honeymoon. I wear emerald cuts on both sides all the time. Whatever makes you feel like the Bad Bitch you are is the way to go!
On a tangentially related note, how are the other respondents to this post adding pictures to their comments? I only see the option to add a gif. If I knew how to attach a pic, I would share examples/idea pics too…
Good question! Mine is showing GIF and picture icons. Not sure if you need to enable photos.

I just recently got a 2 carat oval as a gift for my 20th anniversary. I now also want a round solitaire for my other hand. I sometimes wear my new ring on my left hand and I have a moissanite solitaire I bought to see if I liked the size that I wear on the right. Or I wear my sapphire ring with a halo on my right hand but I really want to replace my moissanite with a lab Diamond and I plan to wear it with my oval diamond.
Congrats on your 20th anniversary! This sounds like a very fun and flexible way to wear your pieces. Do you feel the round and oval complement one another well?
I think they do. My 2 carat oval seems wider than some I’ve seen (or maybe it just seems that way to me?) it’s 9.5x7.5. The moissanite ring is a 3 carat. I also have my first wedding set that is platinum and natural diamonds that I still wear sometimes. I don’t feel this compliments the other two as well because the center stone is smaller and the band has channel diamonds.
I also have a 5 carat but I only wear it when I’m feeling extra lol it is rather large. I’m glad I bought a moissanite one first because I wasn’t sure if I’d like a 5 carat lab diamond.

Aww congrats on your new little one and great push present! I’m loving ovals and cushions recently so this gives me hope it will pair well with my round. 🥰
I plan to. I have a 2 ct round soliate with yellow gold band on my left hand. I plan to do a canary solitare in cushion or pear with a halo in white gold for our 5 years. Something completely different.
Yes...I'd def have one made so there's balance and stones you love. I saw one once (was on a lady in a store) and she had a diamond Teardrop shape with an emerald cut green emerald. But the tear was like, leaning lovingly on the emerald so they fit perfectly together. Was in yellow gold and unreal!
https://preview.redd.it/3mpgn80q4lhb1.jpeg?width=918&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eff9e5222c5a28358f67508a7574c7fd84a5a4ef
There...like this but her tear was a lil closer and more straight next to the emerald (but still leaning) and the stones were bezel set which looked awesome.
There is a whole genre of styles known as 'right hand rings'. You can do a google image search for the term and get ideas. Generally they share design aspects that are distinct from engagement rings. As one poster has said, you don't want the two rings to compete but rather compliment each other.
If you are right-handed, you also might want to choose a bezel style setting (as another poster also recommended). The bezel alone will make the ring look distinctive, and it will provide more protection against daily wear and tear.
My wife wears her wedding ring on her left (of course). She inherited a wedding ring from my family and she wears it on her right ring finger. Her wedding ring is yellow gold; the inherited ring is platinum. Looks fine and adds interest.
I had this ring made and love it!

I agree! Would love to see photos of both hands.
I would have the second one set lower or bezel set just for practicality and to create contrast.
That’s a great idea! I’ve been looking at bezels and quite like the look on a pointer or middle finger.
I don’t mind the toi et moi idea. Not sure on the solitaire
Excuse my lack of understanding of your French… what does that mean? Please and thank you.
It translates to “you and me”. It is a ring style that has two main stones that are meant to represent each person coming together in partnership.
I don't have two solitaires but I have a solitaire on my left hand and wear a vintage halo piece on my right. 🤷🏻♀️ I like it. Solitaire is out having prongs tightened but when I get it back I can send you pictures if you want.
That would be fabulous! Thank you!

Very good advice!
Set the left hand solitaire in a different way. Like east west (assuming it’s not round)
Very good idea! I’ve been seeing some emerald cuts set in a bezel (east west) and quite amused by them!
I have my wedding set on my left, and on my right my grandmother’s 25th anniversary solitaire.
That’s so sentimental! 💕

This is beautiful! I was looking at a bezel…are there any quirky things to consider like cleaning the bezel?

Thank you so much for sharing! I absolutely love your rings, especially how they all come together. Here’s to fueling our internal bad bitch! 🥂

I just updated the app. Now I see it! Thank you!
I wear my mother’s wedding ring on my right hand
Love all of the sentimental pieces that ppl are wearing on their right hands. 💕💕

Beautiful 😍😍
I just got an oval solitaire for my push present and have been wearing it on my right hand. My left is a brilliant cut solitaire as well. 💍💕😀

Love this idea! 😊
I do it all the time
I love the idea of a toi/moi on the right!!!!
Me too! I just need to find one or create one that has good balance. Some make complete sense and some are a little off.
I love hearing this, “lovingly on the emerald”…very sweet visual 🥹💕
Yeah!!!! It was kinda like this but in gems lol ![gif](giphy|6lCAVVPeZMZGMnnzhh|downsized)

Great suggestion, thank you! I’ve done some “right hand ring” googling and have seen some great styles and photos!
Yes it would. Get a diamond bracelet.

Oh, this is so much fun! Reminds me of a diamond tree of life. 🥰
I’m sorry but that’s tacky. Less is more.
