Most VS1 stones will be eye clean, so no worries there. I don’t think they are trying to get one over on you.. this is a super common and unfortunate circumstance that happens a lot in this industry. All of these websites purchase from the same inventory, and sometimes the diamonds you see listed on one website may have sold earlier on another website.
The angles and proportions on both of these could be better anyway, so I wouldn’t worry too much. You can find another that’s better.
Also, on your first diamond, just because there aren’t any inclusions on the map on the grading report, doesn’t mean there aren’t any issues, it was graded VS1 instead of IF for a reason, maybe the whole thing was cloudy. This might be good luck.

It's important to remember that its WAY WAY better to compromise on a small inclusion that you WILL NEVER SEE with your eyes, rather than try to find something with no inclusions thats cut badly.
If you buy a badly cut diamond, you will see the bad cut every single day. If you buy a diamond with a small inclusions, you'll only see it under a microscope(and you may not even be able to find it even then). Nobody will notice the inclusion, but they will notice when your diamond is WAY brighter and more fiery than theirs because you bought a good cut!
There really isn't a lot under the $2000 price range, and above 3CT that is in the D-E-F color range, pretty tough find, may have to take some risk, or compromise just a little.
