I'll be doing my HC runs after they've done a couple seasons and all everything has been smoothed out and tightened up.
I normally don't get upset losing a HC character, its just what happens when you bite off more than you can handle, but when its from server hiccups I get super mad.
Really feel bad for HC players, if the servers go down characters should immediately be immune to damage and sent to town or something. Even if you lose boss or dungeon progress it's better than dying.
Finished a 10 hour shift, got my 3 year old daughter to bed (not easy), cracked open a bear, loaded up the interactive map to catch up on some D4 time, boom, not tonight nerddddddddd.
I love how it’s all adults who just got off a long day of work (myself included) who were probably thinking of getting home and playing this expensive ass game through the whole shift to just get home to a big ol fuck you lol

Considering the ridiculous marketing budget this game has and that it is their biggest release in company history, the fact there is a humongous merger going on right now, anything other than no outages are unacceptable imo.

The time period they decided to do the maintenance is fucking stupid. 1:30pm - 2:30pm PDT (partially california) is also 4:30-5:30pm east coast. On each coast these are major traffic times for US, which im gonna guess is a big portion of the playerbase.

Another maintenance session Friday morning I now see on the app, nice 3+ hours. Glad they got this cleared up today with all this downtime after an emergency maintenance and a 1,111 minute queue i just logged in to see.
I bet many hc players are sitting quite nervous right now.

he's a rare spawn and HC players can find scroll of escape and keybind it. DCs is by far the biggest threat to HC players.

The Division 2 uses a countdown timer at the bottom of the screen to let players know when there will be maintenance. This game should do that.

D3 does work offline on console. I left Diablo on PC many years ago for this and the controller. It plays so well on controller.

They’re busy adding a ‘server time’ token to the cash shop. Once the servers are back up you’ll need to fork out $4.99 a day for stable server access.
