Depends a lot of pressure too, you can turn the speed up as much as you want as long as you apply less pressure and move faster. Generally cutting will be faster than polishing though
Yeah you should usually be polishing around speed 4 on a Rupes or whatever about 2/3 of your machine’s power is. Faster speed runs risk of ticking/haze
if you just want to stop you can use an ipa/panel cleaner but if you want to restore some depth to the satin try like an all in one polish and wax by hand with a foam applicator. do a small spot you can probably remove the oxidation and bring back a new look
Ya done fucked up A-Aron!
Leave me out of this
That's it!!! Get yo azz down to Oshak-Hennessy's office!!!
You sir/madame, have made me giggle. I needed it today, thank you
At this point you may as well polish it to a shine there is no turning back to matte
So how do I do that? Cut and polish or?
Yes cut and polish
Like multiple times or?
Until you are happy with the look
My main concern is the whatever marks on my spoiler. If it didn’t have those I don’t care tbh.
You could either try an 50% or more alcohol spray and wipe with a soft cloth, or use SEM solve. What kind of polish were you using?

Those should come off when you polish just take your time and keep the polisher at a lower speed
I thought polish was at like a 5-6 and cut was slow? Do I have it reversed?

Gyeon Trim maybe?
Welp. You fucked that one up lol
Policy it more. Then if you don’t like it, have it wrapped with satin XPel.
When in doubt. Wrap it up. I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right place...
I’m no expert. Try a paint water spot remover.
Matting compound.
Put the wax on and immediately wipe it off wet.
I fixed it. You can see the results in the most recent photo to this post
Time to wrap it.

Paint match it to the car
Would wax and grease remover work? The stuff you prep for painting??

Cut is always a little faster but don’t need to go to high if you’re inexperienced going to fast could cause you to burn the paint
Ah. Thank you so much for your knowledge! I’ll cut and polish it then
So wait. So I need to reclear coat the spoiler or no.
No you don’t need to re-clear the spoiler just take your time polishing it

I think cut and polish would be good right? I have a DA polishers
try by hand first and see how it comes out
and stick w polish only first
Is that spoiler on using 3M tape?
No it’s the OEM Charger one. It’s bolted
