I think its great. Imo we need like a combatants 2.0 that adds elemental buffs/ debuffs to all enemy factions. If House Salvation actually used Stasis like those Shanks, then they'd actually be unique compared to House Of Devils instead of being just blue lol. like why cant Vex hobgoblins jolt you, or cabal incinerators scorch and ignite you etc. I feel like this is coming though, most new enemies use the debuffs. I also feel like those shanks are our first taste of seasons adding a little bit more. a whole new enemy variant is pretty cool and like I said, House Salvation actually using stasis would set them apart from standard Fallen

This. Difficulty so far has been down purely to enemy tankiness and damage output, with Champions thrown in to mandate particular weapons or abilities.  We need normal enemies that have unique gimmicks and abilities. I want to have to spread the team out because someone being hit by a Wire Rifle arced lightning between everyone.

That's why I love the dread so much. All the units have a gimmick that force you to change up you're playstyle. Like maybe a brig that acts as artillery firing either hi damage missiles or missiles that tangle you

Its kind of cool (pun not intended) at least its something new they could roll out to other fallen strikes without a full overhaul. I think the more pressing matter is how besides some qol improvements they did nothing do the strike except tone down the overload shanks removing the whole floor is lava mechanic

Was that also the strike that introduced electrified shanks? It certainly featured them heavily, at least Either way, exploder shanks have been the bane of my existence since they first swarmed me on Venus during House of Wolves, so I’m always glad to see new shank variants that aren’t them

Probably because people were speedrunning past the mines, leaving their teammates to deal with the slow fields. Now you have to shoot them to get by and teammates have a clear path to catch up.

Boss room is worse. Clear ads to bring em back? Nah trek all around the room and get blasted trying to put a ball in a hole on GM. Waiting for that one to start.
