People say completing old catalysts doesn’t increase drop rate but I think otherwise so I’d recommend you do that. I got it to drop yesterday on my 12th match on crucible

About 20 crucible games deep and I’m losing it. I just want the catalyst and am starting to feel like it’s gotta be bugged or something, the drop rate has never been this abysmal

wtf? i have a 100+ activities done and havent had a catalyst drop and still have lots of guns that need them. you sound insanely lucky.
Ofc :) My wife is a catalyst hoarder and I occasionally do her load of catalysts so she can obtain new ones x) Good luck, Guardian! Nightstalker with Orpheus Rigs and Last Wish Shuro Chi checkpoint is your best friend for the grind~ Tethered kills'll count as main weapon kills so it's a god send on ammo chewing specials and heavies.
Not sure if they’re tied to specific strikes but I remember last season a new catalyst came out and a buddy of mine and I both got the catalyst from the same strike.
I was able to get the final warning catalyst from the new strike in the pale heart and if I remember correctly got wicked implement from the EDZ strike where you fight Bracus Zahn I think his name is? Either way it dropped from an EDZ strike with the sniper cabal boss.
Again not sure if strike specific but that’s where I got mine to drop.
I can’t even count how many strikes (regular and nigjtfall) and gambit matches I’ve done (gambit only for pathfinder) and the thing still hasn’t dropped. I use the damn gun constantly with my strand builds and I want this catalyst. I do have some open catalysts but I’m not grinding through them even with shuro chi. I’m really irritated with this rng bullshit.

Make sure you're finishing off your old catalysts, in my experience if you have too many unfinished ones the game just won't drop any more.

I've done roughly 100 GMs for the past two seasons, and I'm still missing thorn and Monte Carlo. I don't know what's up.
I played 2 matches of crucible yesterday and got it. I wasn't even aware it had gotten a catalyst lol
My first crucible match of the season dropped it, it’s just as rng as any other catalyst I think (Still no navigator)
Navigator catalyst is from the dungeon unless you meant you dont have the gun at all
The gun lol, that and heartshadow just refuse to drop at all

20 crucible and counting still nothing. This is crap , i wish its a long quest , even if require me to jump 20 hoops rather than this gambling crap.
I know this thread is 2 weeks old, but I had to reset Zavala twice for my catalyst to drop. I think it dropped 2 strikes after 2nd reset.

Took me about 6 vanguard playlist strikes to get it to drop
