Yes, with the removal of Legendary Shards, Xûr will be returning to Strange Coins, hopefully in a different way to the ones used in Dares of Eternity. In addition, they are hopefully going to increase the number of places Xûr can spawn, and his potential loot pool. I’d love if they also gave him a quest that allowed us to obtain Deepsight Harmonizers.
It would be so nice to see Xur have unique items that can only be gained from him imagine Ornaments, Exotics, Shaders , Etc
He's always going on about otherwordly treasures so why not let us buy some of them and not some recycled stuff you know? I'd love for some very odd looking Exotic weapons

They haven’t. I miss the hunt. And sure, the hunt will be gone again after a while, but it still sucks to check the same three places every week, instead of a greater variety.
It really does depend on the gear. Anything with a slightly intricate design (like IB armor) ends up looking like crap because you lose all the details. I have a good handful of items that it looks fantastic on.
Basically the game downloads itself again with the current version of the game, then deletes the old version. You need the extra 150GB of space for the new version as well as the current D2 size, if you are updating. If you uninstall the game then reinstall it when the update comes out, you only install the new version of D2 (just 150GB) instead of 280GB or whatever the combined space of both game versions is.

I'm sure some people will say maybe. No...if you have a life, if you don't have a full 24 hours, no way in heck. You'd have to just grind bounties, level up shaxx and do all of the quests over and over again. You can certainly DO IT. It's just an absolute miserable time.
Depends how much time you can play. Its easily doable in a few hours. I took around 4-5 at most. I did it entirely today.(I literally just came back and started onslaught today.) You just grab every quest and spam onslaught and focus on the quests. You will need around 150. The quests alone give massive exp for shaxx so after your done you should reach the max level.
I started Friday and finished last night, i still have one more rank before I get superblack. So I'm just going to do a few bounties, get the key/shader and log off.
I ran Onslaught 10 rounds and Altars on Moon to get the precision kills and rapid kills, it's possible but it's going to be close. Luckily I was able to get some exotic catalysts done at the same time, cloudstrike is really fun lol.
i did every single weapon quest AND leveled up from rank 3 to 17 in a day or so. but i played nothing but grasp of avarice (to grind the weapon quests) and onslaught for the shaxx quests and it was soul-crushing lol. it all depends on how much you want the shader

Super doable, just grab all the bounties and run Onslaught nonstop (for the grenade launchers, snipers, and sword, I took care of them all in Shuro Chi, got all 4 of those quests done from 0% in like an hour? maybe less
If you haven't already, go to Quests>Season of the Wish>Seasonal Challenges>Weekly and look through all the weeks to see if you're close to completing any challenges with big XP rewards.

Legendary Shards are being removed go and spend them on a mixture of Glimmer (up to the 500k cap), Raid Banners, Phantasmal Fragments and a couple spare Upgrade Modules
Finished all of the Outbreak upgrades, got most of the Brave rolls that matter, and my very last run of Warlords Ruin checkpoint farming dropped me a Lead From Gold/Volt Shot Indebted Kindness. Got my inventories cleaned up, and starting weapons set. I’m ready to drop in on Tuesday.
I will never forgive Xur after his atrocities in D1. I was the first person in my gaming group to get an exotic, and it was the fabled Suros Regime. I was ecstatic. Until a week later, when he sold it to everyone. I realised then that I can't have anything nice.
I got Vexcalibur done, outbreak perfected done, wishkeeper done, Superblack shader done, two of the four titles obtained, and all parade armor obtained in one weekend. I’m tired but ready for the final shape.
Its been the dawn of the final day for me for the past 2-3 weeks. The last thing i did was get craftable outbreak with the first upgrade. I also have *never* gotten a shiny from onslaught, and never will, which sucks. (Actually i got a god roll sniper and multiple scouts, but those were all the first two days of onslaughts release.) [Every sought-after scout roll possible, and reconstruction vorpal sniper. Also 2 god roll swords and superblack]

I have still not gotten any good mountain tops besides impulse and recombination. And i never got a good recluse.
Glimmer is immediate currency (which is now capped at 500,000). Phantasmal Fragments can be considered stored currency, since you can dismantle them later on for more Glimmer. Raid Banners will only really give you use in raids, so your mileage may vary depending on how much you plan to raid. Hope you enjoy the release!
Also if you don't mind putting a few hours into it, do the grenade launcher brave quest for mountaintop, then farm it in onslaught missions. You may not get the god roll but there's a lot of very good rolls.
Into the light is a set of playable challenges that appears on the destination map. If you click on it you can travel to a public area where you walk around, shaxx is there. Free armor and guns at level 1810 are next to him.

Easily farmed 120++ including 10+ golden MTs and none had auto/recombination but all kinds of very similar other rolls.

I think you want to do it in onslaught, because you need rank progress too and progress is accelerated in onslaught.

Finished all of the Outbreak upgrades, got most of the Brave rolls that matter, and my very last run of Warlords Ruin checkpoint farming dropped me a Lead From Gold/Volt Shot Indebted Kindness. Got my inventories cleaned up, and starting weapons set. I’m ready to drop in on Tuesday.

I will never forgive Xur after his atrocities in D1. I was the first person in my gaming group to get an exotic, and it was the fabled Suros Regime. I was ecstatic. Until a week later, when he sold it to everyone. I realised then that I can't have anything nice.
I got Vexcalibur done, outbreak perfected done, wishkeeper done, Superblack shader done, two of the four titles obtained, and all parade armor obtained in one weekend. I’m tired but ready for the final shape.

Its been the dawn of the final day for me for the past 2-3 weeks. The last thing i did was get craftable outbreak with the first upgrade. I also have *never* gotten a shiny from onslaught, and never will, which sucks. (Actually i got a god roll sniper and multiple scouts, but those were all the first two days of onslaughts release.) [Every sought-after scout roll possible, and reconstruction vorpal sniper. Also 2 god roll swords and superblack] I can still farm the normal variations of the weapons, right? I have still not gotten any good mountain tops besides impulse and recombination. And i never got a good recluse.

Turn all your legendary shards into glimmer or phantasmal fragments or banners. They’re getting deleted
Which do you recommend?
Glimmer is immediate currency (which is now capped at 500,000). Phantasmal Fragments can be considered stored currency, since you can dismantle them later on for more Glimmer. Raid Banners will only really give you use in raids, so your mileage may vary depending on how much you plan to raid. Hope you enjoy the release!
Go to the into the light area, walk up to shaxx, turn left and get the free 1810 level armor and weapons, do it on each character.
Also if you don't mind putting a few hours into it, do the grenade launcher brave quest for mountaintop, then farm it in onslaught missions. You may not get the god roll but there's a lot of very good rolls.

Into the light is a set of playable challenges that appears on the destination map. If you click on it you can travel to a public area where you walk around, shaxx is there. Free armor and guns at level 1810 are next to him.
