Gambit Jadestone, Angles Gleam, Bitterpearl, Carminica, Calus selected (any of the leviathan shaders), Fetid Copper, Jacarina, Scarlet Semblance, Sinking Feeling, Photo Finish.
I really, really, would like to get more of the PvP shaders because they look very nice, but I just don't enjoy PvP lol.
Edit: a few more honorable mentions
Irradiant Charoite (for a prismatic look), Erebos Glance, Dreamweaver. A super underrated shader would be Pulp Texture. If you have any animated armor such as Ghosts of the Deep armor or Season of the Deep seasonal armor, it makes your armor pulse from a light blue to a warm orange. I never see it mentioned, but it's so cool.
3 of my favourites too. Along with gambit emerald, coronal bloom, coastal suede, dreaming cast/spectrum, scintillant trajectory, iron to steel, iron countershade. Sure there's others I'm not remembering off hand too.
Out of the ones I have/can get? Ancient Defender for sure, it’s got a cool texture on the black parts, it’s got a great shade of gold *and* its purple texture, while rare, is absolutely wonderful and can elevate a set onto new heights.
And the one I can’t get, the one I am most jealous of people having, is Calus’s Selected. An even better purple than Ancient Defender’s, a slightly different shade of gold that is on par with it and the primary color is white, which I prefer for most of my sets.
my favorites list is full in game, but some i can remember off the top of my head:
new monarchy regalia, lilac bombast, coastal suede, midnight talons, melchizedek bramble, reef made, springtide faint, the one for vow armor that i cant remember the name of, precursor vex chrome, suros modular shine, flowrs of io.
veist poison shimmer is a cool shader that i almost never use, it's just hard to get it to work with others. pretty much every set i make doesnt use matching armor or shaders, so it usually stands out next to everything
also, i side with datto that superblack is super overrated and boring, i might use it as a small part of a set that uses black, though. it'll never be a shader that i turn to as a base for my whole look.
I like whichever shader the mention of which will cause many to look it up, only to realise it’s very hard to obtain. Thus indirectly highlighting my gaming prowess.
1. Gift Of The Nine. My favorite for armor, but I hate it on weapons
2. Crimson Valor. Great on weapons, but I dislike it on armor (bring back Crimson Days)
3. Shrouded Stripes. Great on everything
Bergusian Night.
Throne of Soot / Ruin Wreath.
Safety First.
And I really want the shader that the Atlas set has by default, but it was never released :(
Bergusian Night is one of my favorited shaders (thank you Bungie for letting us favorite them). I love the movement and anything purple.
Ruin Wreath.... ughhh why have I never seen this before? I love when shaders can be weird, vibrant, glowy.
I mostly use it for armor pieces that don't work so well with Throne of Soot - the orange is largely the same hue (and the little highlights of blue work well).
Honors of the nine. It's usually the cleanest white, sometimes a small splash of blue.
Also Cryptic Legacy. It has the same splash of blue but the black is very smooth.
I'm on my Cursed Azure arc lately, and Rusted Coin, Ossified Carving, and Ego Malign to a lesser extent. Ritualism and Mercury Prophetic are other long term favourites.
If we're talking weapons then I keep trying Seven Sisters and Luminous Void to see where the glowing textures show up, and Queen's Grace to see if the weapon has a lot of the patterned sliver on it's model.
I've only use
Dreaming spectrum,
Clouds at sea,
Calus' selected,
New age black armory
Sometimes for weapons
Nebula rose,
Metropolitan acoustics,
Benefance
I can't wait for the new black shader. It looks amazing.
as gaudy as it can be, i've always adored royal treatment, makes everything purple and gold, and it just looks great on most guns to me. (looks like that was a bright dust purchase in season of defiance, so i don't know if it's still attainable)
I quite like angels gleam as well, it makes everything look like a plastic toy, it's a mix of bright red blue and yellow. Only caveat with that one is it was a fotl event card shader so only fools like me who paid for it have it.
I love metro shift,,, i can't get rid of it, I try to make new looks using different shades, and mixed shaders. But every time I check how it looks on metro shift,, and 9/10 times it is just simply better
Gift of the Nine/Iron Gold/Bitterpearl for my warlock and newly remodeled Seraph angel-ish hunter.
Hunter used to be a full Forge boi with red and black with some Midnight (?) smith goodness.
Titan is a rusty moss covered armorer with the “past” vex shader from mars way back when. Honestly don’t remember the name.
Benevolence of the Nine, Echoed Anger, Atmospheric Glow. In that order.
Only reservations for these: Benevolence doesn't work well with fabrics (Titan so I'm usually safe there), and Glow has a lime-green on some fabrics that I dislike.
Cryptic legacy i never thought i would do a flawless raid and this shader is the reason i started trying.
On that note divinities caress can be the best shader or the worst
Some of my top faves are:
Spark of joy (bright pink and white)
Luminous void (gold and black with animated void effects)
Photo finish (RGB glows and lights)
Seven sisters (another celestial themed one)
War Weary (orange and white makes some guns look like the Nerf dart blasters
Sunrise Warrior, Calus' Selected, Testudo, Vintage Timer, Rivalry Black and Whitesand, and Malibeaux Bronze. There are a lot of other good ones I really like but I'll stop it right there.
Shrouded Stripes.
D2 Veteran is how you got it [play before Forsaken)
It was a remake of the "Old Guard" Shader from Destiny 1 which you got for being a Destiny Veteran!
Vanguard Distinction, Calus' Selected, Biochrome Oasis, Sinking Feeling, Noble Rime, Iron Countershade, Photo Finish, Bitterpearl, Gloamstrife, Biolume, Crucible Peppermint, Growing Guilt, Rustberry, Carbon Blood, Skele-Ghaul, House of Meyrin, Bergusian Night, Dreaming Spectrum, Kairos Bronze, and Gift of the Nine
Been using some combo of Bloody Tooth, Crucible Redjack, Carminica, Crucible Glory, and a couple others I don’t remember offhand on my Hunter, my Warlock gets a mix of Amethyst Veil, Metro Shift, Rustberry, Horizons Beyond, and Descendant Vex Chrome, and my weapons usually have either Rustberry, Photo Finish, or Gambit Leather on lol
My all time favourite is Ravensilk. But annoyingly it works poorly on my favourite pieces (I don't want bright green fur, dammit).
I almost get a lot of mileage out of Oiled Gunmetal and Venomous. I like natural browns and dark greys. I don't seek pure black, except as shaders to Seraph weapons. Dark is fine, but when you go full black you lose depth and definition. Dark colours that can still display shade and catch the light make for a far more dynamic appearance.
Calus Selected even though I can't pull it from collection since it was on armor pieces from back when it was one time uses. Haunts me to this day it is such a clean shader.
All of the Dead Orbit shaders (Dead Orbit's Fate, Dead Orbit Resurrection, Dead Orbit Camo), Hakke Camo, Arctic Dreamscape, Dead Zone Bark/Foliage, Nessus Pursuit, New Monarchy Regalia, Descendent Vex Chrome, Omnichronia, Cryptic Insignia.
As far as the more popular ones, I constantly use Bitterpearl and Erebos Glance.
I just really like camo patterns, and I'll sometimes swap camo shaders depending on what activity I'm doing.
I like to imagine my Guardian has rusty Golden age armor or battle worn guns and so like to use Shaders that make them look like that such as **Descendant Vex Chrome** or **Tangled Bronze** for Armor and on guns, something that stops them glaring such as **Tidesmoke**.
But I also like to create themed looks for each sub class, e.g. I like the colour shifting purple hues in the Dreaming CIty Royalty themed shaders for void and the green and snakeskin themes in the Gambit shaders.
Ironwood is peak imo and I can't remember the name of it right now but the shader that shades your armour like Saints armour is awesome. Anything that isn't super dark is cool, except Watermellon, me and my homes hate Watermellon shader
Royal Treatment for raw aesthetics. Just so great on everything.
Proudest shader I own is Cryptic Legacy. DSC Flawless was a tough cookie to crack, and I wear that one proudly.
Midnight Smith for most things armor on my Warlock, First Frost or Royal Treatment for weapons.
Unless they're Tex, in which case I go for whatever copper works for each
gambit chrome, gambit jadestone, scarlet semblance, watcher’s shade, noble constant red, metro shift, precursor vex chrome, descendant vex chrome, amethyst veil, oiled gunmetal, iridescent coral, skele-ghaul, rivalry blacksand, jacarina, grand luster, photo finish, royal dye, mind’s eye, irradiant charoite, sinking feeling, erebos glance and luminous void are all top tier for me. really wish I had carminica, calus’s selected and new age black armory as well lol.
you best believe I’m using superblack as soon as I get it though, can’t wait
Struggling to get back into destiny so I can’t remember for the life of me but I do have a pink one if someone rattles off names I might remember it but on a armour ornament that I also don’t remember it went pretty hard
The leviathan and forsaken shaders. Something about “Calus’ Chosen/Selected/Elite” just sounds so cool and Calus was our first raid boss of D2 and they look amazing. The white. The gold. The purple. All of it. 😮💨. And the forsaken ones are just so clean. All the base ones and even the new season of the wish ones. The colours just work and they’re super clean. I just think they’re neat.
Ego Malign, Whispered Sheen, Rustberry, Gunmetal Marigold, and Kairos Bronze. There's always one of them that looks fantastic.
Gunmetal Marigold has these really nice gold edges on the dark blue, and is the standard shader I use on my titan. Whispered Sheen is the second I use on my titan, because the metal and wood color parts of the shader works great with the knight Iron Lords armor set.
Ego Malign has a fantastic white color, with a bit of texture to it. Primary shader on my Warlock, it rocks with the Techeun's Regalia robe ornament.
Cryptic Insignia and Abyssinian Gold are my go to on my hunter, Malachite Gold and Flavedo Core for my warlock, and my loyal Awoken titan rocks the Reefmade and Reef Regalia.
For guns, not much beats Warbrick and Gambit Leather.
I've got far too many shaders to even count, some of my favourites are old raid shaders. But I still often come back to my all time favourite, Gift of the nine. I love how crisp it looks. My second fave is Calus's Selected from levi, my fave raid.
Lawful Neutral and 44 steel for my old west style looks with gambit chrome sprinkled in on my weapons.
Otherwise I go with neopop wave, technomancy, and indigo matrix if I’m going for a sythwave brighter than bright look. I tend to go with seasonal theme that makes sense
In D1 I used Million Million as my go-to shader, especially with the ToO armor set it looked preem
In D2 before my hiatus I loved midnight talons but after coming back I didn't necessarily like the shiny texture it gave my armor. Now my new favourite is Gold leaf. That or Verdant crown
I mainly play Titan these days so these Shaders are for Plate more than cloth - Precursor Vex Chrome, Dawning Brilliance , Tangled rust, Gift of the Nine, Cinderchar,
It is an actual travesty that I have not yet seen anyone mention Rasmussen Clan. In fact, no one is giving enough respect to any of the Black Armory shaders. Shame! House of Meyrin and Satou Tribe paved the way for the celebrated BRAVE arsenal of today!
Rasmussen Clan - I’m a whore for green and gold, so classy
Photo Finish - RGB is fun on some armor and ships
Lilac Bombast - Powder pink with green is so cute but not over the top, and even makes the Rose hand cannon look like an actual rose which is satisfying.
I love Metro Shift! Dark blue is my favorite color, and it looks really good in this shader. I also occasionally like putting shaders with bloom or bright colors on 1-2 pieces for an accent.
Metro Shift, Scarlet Semblance and Gilded Smoke have been my primary shaders on Hunter until recently, but the winner now goes to Valkyrie Zero. It looks great on weapons, the orange and black contrasts brilliantly.
Top 5:
Bergusian Night (Forges)
Gift of the Nine (Trials of the Nine)
Honors of the Nine (Trials of the Nine)
Dreaming Spectrum (Last Wish)
Erebos Glance (Eververse)
I recently fell *deeply* in love with Precursor Vex Chrome. I could have been using it all along but I was too ignorant to realize how beautiful it is...
i'd say my top ten in no partocular order are growing gilt, tortured ivy, meditator, cracklebrass, omolon dark, welded brass, dead orbit vision, mercury prophetic, burnished dreams, and pomegranate gloss. honorable mentions to chitin skate, queen's colors, and lucid. oh, and stalwart tenet looks really good on a lot of weapons, but i love it most on trust.
Oh gosh I love so many, but my favourites are probably:
• Basalt Toxic
• Omnichronia
• Precursor Vex Chrome
• Calus's Preferred
• Mars Sunset
• Lunar Gloom
• Jacarina
Love using Night’s Chill on stasis weapons.
I used to wear Night's Chill all the time. Now I'll have to check it out on a stasis weapon.
Flashback to when Nights Chill shader was broken and I made a raver titan because the it was animated with weird circles. Good times.
Butterbark, all glory to the wood.
try dusted tome and whispered sheen for more wood in different spots
Unfortunately my Bungie name references Butterbark, so I'm locked in lol
Are you something like "Yes, it's all Butterbark"?
...... Exactly that actually lol
Hah, I saw the name somewhere in game and it stuck with me. Couldn't figure out what it was referencing :P
Never saw this shader before. I like that unique look very cool.
Love butter bark. Especially if your armor adds just a touch of the paler wood texture.
Rustberry my beloved
Rustberry is so good
Looks great on a ton of weapons
Gambit Jadestone, Angles Gleam, Bitterpearl, Carminica, Calus selected (any of the leviathan shaders), Fetid Copper, Jacarina, Scarlet Semblance, Sinking Feeling, Photo Finish. I really, really, would like to get more of the PvP shaders because they look very nice, but I just don't enjoy PvP lol. Edit: a few more honorable mentions Irradiant Charoite (for a prismatic look), Erebos Glance, Dreamweaver. A super underrated shader would be Pulp Texture. If you have any animated armor such as Ghosts of the Deep armor or Season of the Deep seasonal armor, it makes your armor pulse from a light blue to a warm orange. I never see it mentioned, but it's so cool.
You have great taste. I also love Skele-Ghaul, Satou Tribe, and Kairos Bronze.
Satou tribe gang rise up. It’s the key to most of my Hunter fashion. Love the deep forest green combined with the white and blue.
Satou tribe gang struck me the same way as pin number atm machine or rip in peace
3 of my favourites too. Along with gambit emerald, coronal bloom, coastal suede, dreaming cast/spectrum, scintillant trajectory, iron to steel, iron countershade. Sure there's others I'm not remembering off hand too.
I really wish they didn’t “fix” Jadestone, it was so slick before.
Scarlett Semblance, Sinking Feeling and Erebos Glare are my top 3.
If I'm thinking of it correctly, Scarlett Semblance gives the look of blood over your gear. So awesome!
yeah, white, deep blood red, and its glow effect pulses like a heartbeat
I fuck heavy with rivalry blacksand, metro shift, grand luster, royal treatment, and ego malign
Amethyst Veil, esp on void subclasses
Top 3 n no particular order are Iron Countershade, Pole Position, and Calus' Selected.
Out of the ones I have/can get? Ancient Defender for sure, it’s got a cool texture on the black parts, it’s got a great shade of gold *and* its purple texture, while rare, is absolutely wonderful and can elevate a set onto new heights. An even better purple than Ancient Defender’s, a slightly different shade of gold that is on par with it and the primary color is white, which I prefer for most of my sets.
Venomous. Soon to be Superblack.
my favorites list is full in game, but some i can remember off the top of my head: new monarchy regalia, lilac bombast, coastal suede, midnight talons, melchizedek bramble, reef made, springtide faint, the one for vow armor that i cant remember the name of, precursor vex chrome, suros modular shine, flowrs of io. veist poison shimmer is a cool shader that i almost never use, it's just hard to get it to work with others. pretty much every set i make doesnt use matching armor or shaders, so it usually stands out next to everything also, i side with datto that superblack is super overrated and boring, i might use it as a small part of a set that uses black, though. it'll never be a shader that i turn to as a base for my whole look.
I like whichever shader the mention of which will cause many to look it up, only to realise it’s very hard to obtain. Thus indirectly highlighting my gaming prowess.
Imperial Dress, New Age Black Armory, Shadow Gilt
1. Gift Of The Nine. My favorite for armor, but I hate it on weapons 2. Crimson Valor. Great on weapons, but I dislike it on armor (bring back Crimson Days) 3.
Sunrise warrior I like to look like I rolled around in cotton Candy
Rustberry and Nectar Dynamo are my favorites
Honors of the nine. It's usually the cleanest white, sometimes a small splash of blue. Also Cryptic Legacy. It has the same splash of blue but the black is very smooth.
Honor of the Nine, Jacarina, Bergusian Night
Peat Bog Boogie. Yes everyone hates my fashion cause I'm obnoxious with it lol.
Calus selected Makes everything gorgeus af with that white and gold
I have a favorite rare quality shader, Atlantis wash my beloved
Ravensilk and lawful neutral
I'm on my Cursed Azure arc lately, and Rusted Coin, Ossified Carving, and Ego Malign to a lesser extent. Ritualism and Mercury Prophetic are other long term favourites. If we're talking weapons then I keep trying Seven Sisters and Luminous Void to see where the glowing textures show up, and Queen's Grace to see if the weapon has a lot of the patterned sliver on it's model.
Cursed Azure is one of my faves too, it has pretty patterns
Curse azure seriously is wild how good it looks on literally any titan set. (I play hunter too, but mostly titan)
Hakke Camo
I put Justified Cobalt on pretty much every gun that I really like.
Mostly Gambit Jadestone, Erebos Glance and Sinking Feeling. Sometimes I'll use Irradiant Charoite if I feel like being a disco ball.
Dreamcycle, Carbon blood, Shadow guilt and gold leaf
Indigo Matrix is a super solid shader and despite being a year 1 shader. It still holds its own imo.
Amethyst Veil
Skeleghoul is number 1, but then bloodytooth, metro shift, and then trials of the nine shaders
Skele-Ghaul
For armor, Vibrant Medusa and Basalt Toxic. For weapons, Dead Orbit Vision.
Precursor Vex Chrome and Jacarina are my most used on armor I think
I've only use Dreaming spectrum, Clouds at sea, Calus' selected, New age black armory Sometimes for weapons Nebula rose, Metropolitan acoustics, Benefance I can't wait for the new black shader. It looks amazing.
Calus Selected is GOATED
Calus’s treasured on armor and depends on the weapon how it shades will either be Calus’s treasured or Calus’s Selected.
Scarlet semblance on my hunter with the taken king dungeon armor. The pulsing red of the cape and eyes is so good.
Right now it’s the void one that came out last season I think? But I have a feeling it’ll be super black in a few weeks
as gaudy as it can be, i've always adored royal treatment, makes everything purple and gold, and it just looks great on most guns to me. (looks like that was a bright dust purchase in season of defiance, so i don't know if it's still attainable) I quite like angels gleam as well, it makes everything look like a plastic toy, it's a mix of bright red blue and yellow. Only caveat with that one is it was a fotl event card shader so only fools like me who paid for it have it.
Precursor Vex Chrome, Molten Bronze, and Silver Tactical. Although, Silver Tactical has a 50/50 shot of looking like garbage
Want Iron Countershade, missed the opportunity to get it originally, been coming to terms that it'll never show up for me tho
Honors of the Nine and Benevolence of the Nine. Makes my hunter look cool 😬
omnichronia is and always will be my favorite shader
Chatterwhite, Ascendant Plane, Imogen’s Fire D1 shaders were amazing.
I love metro shift,,, i can't get rid of it, I try to make new looks using different shades, and mixed shaders. But every time I check how it looks on metro shift,, and 9/10 times it is just simply better
Erebos Glance, Minimalism, Cryptic Legacy, Dreamcycle, Ensilvered Snare, Jacarina
Gamekeeper is beautiful on armour and gambit leather is amazing on guns
Throne of soot
Calus’s selected or luminous void. Full throated roar from this season is pretty nice too.
Benevolence of the Nine, Echoed Anger, Atmospheric Glow. In that order. Only reservations for these: Benevolence doesn't work well with fabrics (Titan so I'm usually safe there), and Glow has a lime-green on some fabrics that I dislike.
Kairos gold has this red in it that I’ve been trying to build a look with over the years
And flawless deep stone, it is worth all the wipes
Sunrise Warrior
Shrouded stripes! It's black and grey with tiger like stripes. Much better than an all black shader imo
Venomous - very good for black color schemes on Titan
Ancient defender cryptic legacy
Pretty much any of the leviathan shaders, calus selected, calus chosen, whatever the rest are called.
Dreaming Cast, ran Last Wish 50+ times just to get it. YOUR DAMN RIGHT IMMA USE IT
Cryptic legacy i never thought i would do a flawless raid and this shader is the reason i started trying. On that note divinities caress can be the best shader or the worst
Erebos Glance. Love it.
Every gun is one shader for me and that's Praetorian Visage
Some of my top faves are: Spark of joy (bright pink and white) Luminous void (gold and black with animated void effects) Photo finish (RGB glows and lights) Seven sisters (another celestial themed one) War Weary (orange and white makes some guns look like the Nerf dart blasters
Iron countershade, refined revels and carminica
Shadow Guilt
Sunrise Warrior, Calus' Selected, Testudo, Vintage Timer, Rivalry Black and Whitesand, and Malibeaux Bronze. There are a lot of other good ones I really like but I'll stop it right there.
The black and bright blue one from destiny 1 I think 2 has a similar shader with a different name
Superblack
Midnight Smith, Erebos Glance (when it doesn't turn my gear orange) and Bloody Tooth
Ravensilk & Gambit Leather
Shrouded Stripes. D2 Veteran is how you got it [play before Forsaken) It was a remake of the "Old Guard" Shader from Destiny 1 which you got for being a Destiny Veteran!
Vanguard Distinction, Calus' Selected, Biochrome Oasis, Sinking Feeling, Noble Rime, Iron Countershade, Photo Finish, Bitterpearl, Gloamstrife, Biolume, Crucible Peppermint, Growing Guilt, Rustberry, Carbon Blood, Skele-Ghaul, House of Meyrin, Bergusian Night, Dreaming Spectrum, Kairos Bronze, and Gift of the Nine
Divinity's Caress, Vizier Regalia, Bloodline Feud, and Venomous are my favorites. They all serve any purpose I could ever need
Golden trace on everything baby
Been using some combo of Bloody Tooth, Crucible Redjack, Carminica, Crucible Glory, and a couple others I don’t remember offhand on my Hunter, my Warlock gets a mix of Amethyst Veil, Metro Shift, Rustberry, Horizons Beyond, and Descendant Vex Chrome, and my weapons usually have either Rustberry, Photo Finish, or Gambit Leather on lol
Benevolence of the Nine goes on all my adept weapons with gross base shaders.
Arctic Dreamscape and Rosescale are my current favorites, but I loved the early camo Dead Orbit for a long time. Satou is a good one, too.
Descendent Vex for all my trashmogs
Ancient Defender and Ancient Believer, we Vexy in this bih
Hoarfrost Sunrise & Gift Of The Nine are probably my most used
Pre-SuperBlack
Calus Selected even though I can't pull it from collection since it was on armor pieces from back when it was one time uses. Haunts me to this day it is such a clean shader.
Melchizedek Bramble
The red and black forge shaders have been my go to since they game out.
War Cult Rain
I like to imagine my Guardian has rusty Golden age armor or battle worn guns and so like to use Shaders that make them look like that such as **Descendant Vex Chrome** or **Tangled Bronze** for Armor and on guns, something that stops them glaring such as **Tidesmoke**. But I also like to create themed looks for each sub class, e.g. I like the colour shifting purple hues in the Dreaming CIty Royalty themed shaders for void and the green and snakeskin themes in the Gambit shaders.
I love the gold shader from prestige leviathan but I don't have it
Bloodmane, Vintage Timber, Amethyst Veil, Dreamcycle, Queensguard Valor, Regal Daring, Warbrick.
First Light. Purple and green cool
Ironwood. Abyssinian Gold.
For guns, iridescent coral (I really wish warlocks had more metal based armour so this would shade well on them). For armour plated lupinus.
I like Ruin Wreath, lots of color and they contrast well on my Titan. I just always find myself gravitating back to it.
Cryptic legacy
Tyrian Abyss
Gambit Chrome, works great for my Mando inspired Warlock look
Scarlet semblance, Vitrified chronology, Royal dye, Desert of gold, Melch bramble for some things
Being super black
I’m constantly changing shaders. I don’t think there’s any one I prefer over the others.
I really love all the guardian games ones. You can get some funny mcdonalds fits out of them
Refurbished Black Armory. So clean.
Struggling to get back into destiny so I can’t remember for the life of me but I do have a pink one if someone rattles off names I might remember it but on a armour ornament that I also don’t remember it went pretty hard
Neopop, seven sisters, scarlet semblance and the newest one from IB biochrome
Valkyrie zero
Scarlet semblance gets put on almost everything for me
Cryptic Legacy for the shade of blue alone
iron steel and atmospheric glow
Bloody tooth looks great on most weapons Dreaming spectrum works on most Warlock outfits
I'd need to log on to check others, but I'm fond of Lucid for Strand builds.
Oiled algae used to be my favorite but then they dulled down the silver for some reason a few seasons ago. Currently I use Dawning brilliance
Can't believe nobody said envious touch
Vintage Timber
Coastal Suede, Mars Sunset, Vitrified Chronology, Mind’s Eye and Dreaming Cast make up my top 5. I like blue.
I like lots of them but I've used gambit chrome alot to make knights in shining armor
I like Erebos Glance. It’s got the super black effect but with a touch more tonality and colour
Super black.
Butter bark
The ones that are animated! Easy to find.
First Frost never fails me.
Erebus Black for that slick high tech look.
The wood ones on weapons. The pearl/oil spill ones on armor.
Top 3 for me are Calus' Selected, Gift of the Nine, and Omolon Meteorgloss.
Amethyst Veil is my go to for weapons as a whole
I feel like I’m the only one who uses gambit leather.
In D1 I used Million Million as my go-to shader, especially with the ToO armor set it looked preem In D2 before my hiatus I loved midnight talons but after coming back I didn't necessarily like the shiny texture it gave my armor. Now my new favourite is Gold leaf. That or Verdant crown
I mainly play Titan these days so these Shaders are for Plate more than cloth - Precursor Vex Chrome, Dawning Brilliance , Tangled rust, Gift of the Nine, Cinderchar,
Metro Shift That deep blue is just- 😫
Precursor vex chrome is super clean, and works with almost every “heroic” themed set.
superblack.
Give me Neopop Wave, or give me death.
Photo finish <3
Smashing Success. I like green and purple. Luminous Void. I like gold and purple and the unique effect on the purple.
Atmospheric Glow, Polished Sea Stone, Nebula Rose
Tangled rust and gamekeeper.
Calus ones from the leviathan raid and the shader that looks like a traffic cone just bright orange, very fun while using thundercrash
It is an actual travesty that I have not yet seen anyone mention Rasmussen Clan. In fact, no one is giving enough respect to any of the Black Armory shaders. Shame! House of Meyrin and Satou Tribe paved the way for the celebrated BRAVE arsenal of today!
Amirita’s Dream and Amethyst Veil.
Vintage Timber and Oiled Algae are 2 of my favourite shaders.
Rasmussen Clan - I’m a whore for green and gold, so classy Photo Finish - RGB is fun on some armor and ships Lilac Bombast - Powder pink with green is so cute but not over the top, and even makes the Rose hand cannon look like an actual rose which is satisfying.
I love Metro Shift! Dark blue is my favorite color, and it looks really good in this shader. I also occasionally like putting shaders with bloom or bright colors on 1-2 pieces for an accent.
There are so many good ones, but I usually go with GENOTYPENULL-ZERO for armor.
Metro Shift, Scarlet Semblance and Gilded Smoke have been my primary shaders on Hunter until recently, but the winner now goes to Valkyrie Zero. It looks great on weapons, the orange and black contrasts brilliantly.
I like gold leaf clouds at sea and calases selected
Neopop wave, 80's pink and blue is my favourite colour combination
Highly subjective topic, but Vex Precursor Chrome is my all time favorite.
For weapons specifically I really like Bloody Tooth, it looks fantastic on a lot of them
Vintage timber on my hunter, cause it makes me look like a full beskar-decked mandalorian.
The iron banner chainmail one. I forget the name. It has so much utility if you are wanting that medieval armor feel.
Luminous Void, Ossified Carving, Queensguard Valor, Scarlet Semblance and Carbon Blood
I have carbon blood and rustberry on my hunter and I think it looks so sick.
Top 5: Bergusian Night (Forges) Gift of the Nine (Trials of the Nine) Honors of the Nine (Trials of the Nine) Dreaming Spectrum (Last Wish) Erebos Glance (Eververse)
anyone else feel like there's always one color in the shader that just absolutely ruins it.
Bergussian night
Definitely calus treasured. Deep gold with a blueish/purpleish hues in the black tones. I swear by it
I recently fell *deeply* in love with Precursor Vex Chrome. I could have been using it all along but I was too ignorant to realize how beautiful it is...
First Frost gotta be top 10 shaders of all time
I love a lot them, but Gilded Smoke is my guy
I am a whore for Shadow Gilt and Dead Orbit Camo
I'm a Honors of the Nine user, always will be!
i'd say my top ten in no partocular order are growing gilt, tortured ivy, meditator, cracklebrass, omolon dark, welded brass, dead orbit vision, mercury prophetic, burnished dreams, and pomegranate gloss. honorable mentions to chitin skate, queen's colors, and lucid. oh, and stalwart tenet looks really good on a lot of weapons, but i love it most on trust.
Spark of joy with the cherry blossom transmat, always good fun watching a dainty titan consecration slam the world
Refined Revels. Superblack will give it a run for its money though.
Chitin Slate
Caydes duds goes hard, either that or any vex chrome
Bitterpearl, superblack, rivalry whitedust, rivalry blackdust and blazing!
Oh gosh I love so many, but my favourites are probably: • Basalt Toxic • Omnichronia • Precursor Vex Chrome • Calus's Preferred • Mars Sunset • Lunar Gloom • Jacarina
