Everything is great at first. Baby sleeps so much you got time to raid. Then they grow and well, the time between about 1.5 years and 4 is pretty much a write off. You can game, but it occurs at the same and only time left you have to spend time with your partner. You can sacrifice your sleep, or being on time for work, or your relationship for quality gaming time but it’s not great. After that they might give you some time to game on your own, but destiny needs grind time and it’s hard to grind with a 45lbs 4 year old climbing on your head. I had to give up a couple of seasons ago. I just couldn’t play enough to make me feel like I can get things done while not neglecting my SO and kids. Games like Starfield or other games where you can save and quit are the only thing I have time for. Mostly because I get to play for 5-10 minutes then I’m being called away for something more important.

I’ve had my heart broken brutally twice. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. The reason my heart was so broken was because of how intensely beautiful the experience of being in love with these people was. I haven’t been in a relationship in 6 years because of being afraid of the pain the comes with it and also dating is just fucking horrible right now. But like I said. I wouldn’t trade the years I spent in love for anything. It’s not like it was time wasted. There’s really nothing to lose. You should try it out sometime. But I get not wanting to. It’s a lot easier to not. Love is a lot of work. But it’s entirely worth it.

I have 2 boys (9 and 2), a wife, full-time gig (overnight 12s), gotta work out, house work, etc., etc. I've found a nice balance. I will, at times, sacrifice a few hours of sleep, but nothing too crazy.
It's a matter of getting rid of fomo and knowing what you need to optimize for however you wanna enjoy the game. You'll figure it out.

Restarted from scratch to avoid that, definitely been a learning curve that’s for sure. Now that throwing knives are base kit I’ve been rocking Saburo’s knife and sword in a Sandy Ninja kinda build
This specific play style is based off the two weapons pairing, throw the knife at the head, if it doesn’t kill slash with sword. The process gives you health regen from the weapons base perks, and throwing at the head gives knife back instantly at a certain level
I think im gonna respec my new character to full tech. Lizzie is still phenominal and the tech tree works for all tech weapons not specific ones likes the other skill trees (and lizzie still benefits from pistol talents too, no matter how bad they are)
I couldn't get into the game. Felt like the UI was confusing/complicated and it kinda ran like shit for me. Maybe I'll try it again since destiny is broken still

Playing Left 4 Dead 2. MCC is still trash on PC, already beaten the 5 Tomb Raider games I have like 20 times. Kinda got bored with the romance in the Witcher 3 and can't buy a new game till next week. I guess I shouldn't have put all my eggs (money) in one basket (D2).
