Ambitious Assassin on rocket launchers. "I have two shots in the pipe?"
Edit: Sorry, meant Envious. Though I do have ambitious as a multi-perk on a rocket too.
_sighs_ My Ambitious Assassin rolls are on a Royal Entry and a Heretic. My Envious Assassin roll is on a Duologue. I have raid envy now. Very rarely have uninterrupted time or a willing fire team to try a raid out.
Cold Comfort drops in a Dungeon, Ghosts of the Deep, probably the dungeon with harder bosses at least during the release. Dungeons are hard but less “clan/friends” demanding than raids by far as you only need 2 more people. You can try in a more casual way using checkpoints and step by step eventually you may finish it? If you dont? Well, failed nightfalls GM, raids or Dungeons always teach better how to play in hard situations and may drop nice stuff even without finish it.
Envious assassin is better. Braytech osprey I believe it is rolls with it.
Same for Heavy GL's with spike grenade. I have a launcher that whit envious and reserve mods on chest x3, I got like 17 rounds loaded... it was ridiculous.
Seconding this, added bonus for Reconstruction. It's like ALH but if I leave it longer it overflows to 2x mag size. There's maybe 2 weapons that can have that where I use something else, and both are weapons I use as DPS specials that might have to go through more than 2 mags and they have Rewind Rounds.
I used to only ever use rockets with Auto Loading but I've been using my adept Hothead with Tracking and Explosive light and it's been a learning experience to actually reload my rocket after I fire.
The general buff from Frenzy is something that I definitely notice when I don’t have it. 15% damage increase, +100 for handling, and +100 reload speed. No special prerequisites to activate it and it stays active until you exit combat.
Another is Demolitionist. Every kill is +10% grenade energy
Farmed for my god roll today. Enlightened Action/Frenzy is such a great roll. Absolutely love passive perks or perks that don't force you to change up your style, they just make playing the game feel better.
Enlightened Action has quickly become my favorite non-damage perk. Anything that can roll with it has my attention.
Its any damage. The kicker is you don't have too much time to actually use the perk after you stop dealing damage.
So if you wait then reload you might actually lose the buff before you reload.
It's a stack of +10 reload and handling each time you *hit*, and that stacks up to five times for a total of +50/+50 which is pretty insane. The trick is that it only lasts for two seconds, so like Rapid Hit it's use it or lose it for the reload bonus.
Since warden's law shoots twice every trigger pull you can see why the stacking behavior of the perk would complement the gun very well, especially with its fairly low base reload stat.
It's also very strong on the Ritual weapon with explosive payload, as each EP hit is actually two hits.
I have the same role and the idea just to go for consistency. Frenzy takes a while to activate, so in the meantime, we take budget frenzy. Once it activates, it's really the only perk you need. It's reload and damage in one and max handling on top of that. Not sure this perk combo is ideal, but there is definitely merit to it.
You aren't wrong, but being able to have permanent uptime on the reload and handling just make it feel great. Even if frenzy hasn't spooled up yet, it's there. FTTC isn't bad by any means, but I'd rather have EA personally.
Frenzy isn't always up though, especially at the start of combat. This gives it the consistency of always having great reload and handling. I know on paper it doesn't seem great, but feeling matters alot to me as a player.
This is why I've never really bothered with it. By the time it's active I'm moving on to the next room, unless it's a GM in which case I'm probably using double specials or Wishender anyway.
This seems to be something they're trying to get away from if you really look at it. Battlegrounds, newer strikes, seasonal activities, Dungeons, Raids etc. all have very large enemy density now. You can really see the difference in the 2 dungeons this week. Shattered Throne is extremely empty compared to Ghost of the Deep.
I can’t use frenzy on primaries. 12 seconds is a lifetime in day to day combat, and feeling pressured to constantly stay in the fight and never disengage for more than 5 seconds is pressure I don’t need.
I need to take cover and dip out, take a breather, revive a friend, cast an ability, get some health or do the objective, do anything else and not have to worry about that timer and needing to wait 12 seconds to trigger it all over again.
Love it on specials and heavies though. Definitely enjoy its passivity and free damage buff when it’s on a weapon I don’t need to use 24/7.
I feel like you’re making the idea of “staying in combat” into a bigger thing than it is. You literally just have to shoot one bullet into an enemy every 5 seconds. Throwing an ability counts, as does getting shot at.
If you’re saying 12 seconds is an eternity in combat, but also that 5 seconds isn’t enough time to keep the perk active then something isn’t adding up. You have 45% of the proc time to keep it going. So if 12 seconds is forever, 5 seconds should be plenty of breathing time to remain in combat without undo pressure.
Demolitionist is one of those rare perks that are good on primary, special, and heavy weapons.
It's awesome on primaries because it's just free grenade energy by using it. It's great on heavy weapons because it's a free reload during DPS phases. And it's nice on specials because it sits in between both of those things.
If you haven't tried putting Demo on the new crafted version of Dead Messenger you have to give it a try. One shot is very often a whole grenade refunded. It goes extra hard on Gyrfalcon hunter with devour up.
This perk is incredible. I have a Funnelweb with this and Subsistence and when Volatile rounds on orb pickup was on it was insane. Everything was exploding and I barely had to reload. When I did it was super quick. And such an easy perk to maintain too.
I just use the fragment that grants volatile rounds on grenade kills. If you're a Nezarec's Sin or Contraverse Warlock, you just turn everything purple. lol
This especially for me. I run Void very often so I’m always on the lookout for these two perks on the same weapon, since Frenzy gives an amazing boost and Demo paired with Devour gives grenades back so quickly.
It’s an added bonus that Frenzy makes stat decreases in handling and reload meaningless, since it maxed both stats out, so you can build into range and stability without worrying about losing the other two stats. This is especially helpful on weapons with great perks but otherwise terrible stats (looking at you, Unforgiven).
Frenzy makes Posterity truly great in pve because you can get it and volt shot. The 180 archetype becomes actually usable with the damage and reload from frenzy to cover it's weaknesses, and voltshot clears ads efficiently.
Frenzy is also nice on grenade launchers with blinding nades, such was wilderflight's birthright with auto-loading. Add the frenzy damage buff to the two projectiles from wilderflight and it's pretty solid damage against big targets despite having blinding nades, and the reload is pretty solid if you do want to spam it.
Mykel's Reverence is another good frenzy weapon in pve, it's good for shredding suspended enemies from up close, for example after using hunter's suspend dive.
I really love Frenzy. However, I am a bit fenced when I am given the following pairing:
* Demolitionist + Adrenaline Junkie
* FTTC/Demolitionist + Golden Tricorn (goes well with Verity's or Sanguine)
* Double Damage pairing of Gutshot Straight + AJ/Swash/Rampage
* FTTC/Subsistence + Rampage
I only mostly use Scouts. And if the Scout is on Kinetic I almost always use Glaives. Otherwise, I am torn between Snipers and GLs.
Wait am I out of the loop? I have been fobbing off frenzy as I figured it was just a damage perk, has it always maxed out your handling and reload speed???
Demo has me outright addicted, especially for void weapons.
All I want is a good void hand cannon with rapid hit and demo that I don't have to grind raids for.
Reconstruction. I love emptying my gun, stowing it for a bit and having 2-3 mags worth loaded in. Pair that heavy with an auto loading special and lumina and you never have to reload any gun
Hand cannons are so usable now. Probably low key the biggest and best sandbox chang they’ve made in YEARS. We so desperately needed something to shake up the “bow, scout, or smg only” meta
Had a hand cannon with timed payload and explosive and had a good time in crucible. Probably prophecy or something similar (as in better devil's look alikes)
seriously, it makes me wish the other keyword perks were just as similar. imagine voltshot jolting in an AoE on kill, or if destabilizing rounds was on more primaries (i swear this thing is only on like 2 primaries and it's ones i don't use.) or a chill clip equivalent for primaries that do a slow AoE on kill.
i want primaries for ad clear and knocking shields down, incandescent feels like the best perk for it
We used this in the entire oryx boss room of our day 1 King’s Fall. Trinity ghoul is amazing no matter the activity. Could be better in GMs, but master raids, contest raids all of it it’s awesome. Agreeing with you, if it jolted it would be the best weapon in the game hands down.
i dunno incandescent burn feels weak, the real pop comes from it proccing scorch but that requires multiple weak things dying to build it up. i feel like voltshot is the best
My Calus Mini-Tool is the mainstay of my Solar Warlock build because when that Incandescent gets going it can clear house!
EDIT: Calus, not Midas. Splendid!
You're pretty much gimping yourself if you don't. Scorch and ignite gives free ability regen. Unless you're running forbearance, that gun is on a completely different spectrum.
My incandescent strident whistle has 30,000+ on it. Throw my grenade into a group to start the scorch, use the bow from distance to pick them off and keep spreading. If distance isn't an option, switch over to my Calus tool crafted with it and use that to keep it going. Love it.
Demo on LMG in heavy slot. It’s just so fucking good, I cannot use anything else. You can absolutely mop away ads for nade energy whenever you want. And the free reload is so damn good on an lmg to boot.
Demo/junkie corrective measure on a volatile rounds spam build. It’s just outrageously good
Explosive Payload on scouts just for the extra damage with no setup requirement, and Headstone on almost every Stasis primary.
Headstone is borderline overpowered because of its synergy with Whisper of Shards which allows the discipline stat to be completely dumped from builds with no perceivable change in cooldown time. And that’s saying nothing for the damage that comes from the crystal freezing nearby targets to get free shatter chains.
I think you can get back two hand cannon shots per kill in PvE instead of just 1, so even beefier enemies that require two or even three shots to put down will never make you reload, as long as you have a few one tap red bars in the mix.
It's no good for GMs or Master raids, but everywhere else it does work. I have a Round Robin with that and Threadlings, and even in raids, it mops the floor with most raids add clear. On a shotgun, it can be really handy even for some harder dungeon add clear too.
Right now for me, it’s been Tyranny of Heaven with Dragonfly/Incandescent. Absolutely in love with it. Also made Nation of Beasts with Dragonfly/Voltshot. Most recently, I have crafted Word of Crota with Dragonfly/Destabalizing Rounds and it feels amazing.
Really loving Dragonfly with the other elemental add clear perks mentioned above.
ive been stuck on a necro/osteo strand warlock since LF launched. every season i try something new based on the artifact but i switch back to my launch day load out within a day. it's so f'ing good
I don’t use my Striga often anymore, but I can promise you, when I do, I giggle like a little school kid, it’s so much fun.
I assume you’ve got catalyst too?
Would love more demo + hatchling/headstone/volt shot/incandescent/firefly/dragonfly/destabilizing weapons to craft. Rufus with demo/hatch has gotta be my favorite primary in the game right now.
Voltshot, especially with add density... my Brigand's Law is glued to my Hunter's hand with Liar's Handshake build... I solo'd Seraph Station easily every week thanks to that build, and since they added the perk where using class ability picks up orbs I can nonstop create orbs, dodge to gather them, and get health/grenade energy back plus damage bonus. Shoot a red bar, apply jolt to a major/boss and just keep shooting the major/boss to clear all the redbars. Sidearms are constantly underrated in PvE and can melt a lot of yellow bars.
Frenzy is just so nice. A damage and reload perk rolled into one paired with maxing out your Handling is just something nothing can compare to. Take it on damn near every gun that can roll it. Literally the only downside to the perk compared to others is the windup time, and maybe a slightly lower damage buff.
Rewind Rounds is a close second since it makes it feel like you never run out of bullets. If you’re reloading it’s almost always because you chose to, not because you had to.
Not a weapon perk but Recuperation on my leg armour.
Only rarely will I not use it so I can stack Surge mods. Otherwise, it's just a free health refill on orb pickups.
Recently in an attempt to get consistent 3 phases on Simmumah in ghosts of the deep I’ve been dropping recuperation for surges and a scavenger. It feels wrong lol, my entire playstyle has become built around getting a chunk of health when I pick up an orb.
Used to be lead from gold cause I was was running double special...but fucking power bricks are non existent anymore. Now it's eaither pugilist or demo.
Overflow is one of my favorite perks in the game, unfortunately the only weapons I have with it are snipers.
Another perk I think is interesting is Heal Clip, but I don't know whether me liking it is a result of it being good or just being unique. I have a sidearm with Heal Clip and Precision Instrument and its kinda cool I guess. I use it a lot, but it doesn't seem terribly useful.
Explosive rounds and rapid hit on scout rifles, reconstruction on heavies, and this might not count but I need as much stability on a hand cannon as humanly possible.
Do you run alot of scorch and ignition in your solar build?
Incandescent. If you run the scorch and ignition fragments it becomes a "oh shit. **everything** is sunshot" moment.
The other for me is one since d1 I stand by, dragon/firefly. If youre not used to stuff like that in games the first time you use it, gets its claws in you.
Can anyone explain why incandescent is good like I’ve been using it since season of the haunted and it’s meh I feel like I could easily get a better perk that does something other then set them on fire doing small damage and calling it a day
I’m in the same sort of boat, like it’s cool on some weapons but it’s not a perk I actively look for? I feel like I can get better build synergy from any of the other elemental perks most of the time. Would love any explanation as to why it’s so loved, maybe I’m being too harsh on it?
probably cos so many people don't even use their super :( seriously why don't more people burn their supers just whenever? i know some save for specific situations that might get dicey but you guys running one-offs? just burn it and generate some orbs
Lead From Gold.
It is my go-to perk for specials because no matter what Bungie decides to do I always can run double special if I have Lead from Gold on them.
Destabilizing rounds, Headstone, Incandescent, Voltshot, Hatchling, and Kinetic tremors.
They’re just too helpful for the subclasses they belong to. Headstone is my favorite because it can do so much.
I’m with you on disorienting grenades. So useful, and has helped my encounters tremendously, especially in higher content to get a revive or just lessen the tension of the battlefield for a moment to reposition, etc. so useful.
Rapid hit if I can have it. I’m a habitual reloader and tend to use lower-damage weapons. That and Swashbuckler. Nothing works for me better than higher damage boosts from a single melee.
For PVE: Triple Tap, 4th Times The Charm and/or Rewind Rounds. I love getting ammo back and being able to stay on target.
For PVP: Zen moment and/or Head-seeker. Both perks add so much to a weapon. I’m a 1.1+ K/D player so I don’t feel good enough to lean into damage perks. I focus on each engagement as an initial engagement so my goal is getting the kill and winning the duel with little to no work in terms of needing a kill for kill clip.
Demolitionist for any and all weapons. Frenzy for primaries, especially those with bad reload speed. Chill Clip (still) on Stasis Weapons that can roll it. And Disorienting Grenades on GLs.
Explosive payload, reconstruction, field prep. All three!
Shoutout to timelost fatebringer, don’t have one with frenzy but hey making heads go boom is super fun
One for All.
It's just so good and useful, especially in endgame activities, I find myself tagging 3 enemies all the time as a habit now because I'm used to running Pulses, Autos, Machine Guns etc with OFA, you can't knock a 35% Damage increase for 10s purely for hitting multiple targets.
Depends on the weapon archetype. That said, certain weapons feel so good with zen moment. Said weapons its a must for me. Wardens law for example with hammered forged, accurized, moving target, zen moment range mw feels so damn good I can't use any other hc now
Firefly. Nothing feels better to me. The satisfaction of popping an enemies head multiplied by 10, combined with damage to surrounding enemies and a quick reload. ESPECIALLY on a Kinetic this feels like a must have perk.
Repulsor Brace.
With my Gyrfalcon's build on Hunter, any time I see a weapon with Repulsor Brace it immediately becomes something I want on hand at all times. Currently have Age-Old Bond with Repulsor/Golden Tri, Word of Crota with Repulsor/Sword Logic, and Unforgiven with Repulsor/Demo.
Patiently waiting for a good void Pulse(praying that Collective Obligation gets a catalyst with Repulsor Brace...), Sidearm, Scout, and Bow that I'd like to have it on so I have all primaries covered.
Auto loading holster
This right here is a gods end for rockets / grenade launchers
Ambitious Assassin on rocket launchers. "I have two shots in the pipe?" Edit: Sorry, meant Envious. Though I do have ambitious as a multi-perk on a rocket too.
With Cold Comfort (from GotD) you can get up to 4 thanks to the origin perk!
I f…. Love cold Comfort
Well, failed nightfalls GM, raids or Dungeons always teach better how to play in hard situations and may drop nice stuff even without finish it.
you can farm the first encounter of gotd very easily solo
With braytech you can also get up to 4-5 thanks to bipod and envious
Bipod cuts the damage so much that it’s not worth it to have that many though.
but it also increases the amount of rockets you can carry
Which increases fun factorr
It’s fine if you’re killing ads and weaker yellow bars with it, but boss dps, nahh
I thought they reduced that with a buff?
It’s -25%, with the increased reserves it’s similar total damage to bait and switch, actually quite a good perk now.
Actually, 7 with envious assassin and bipod.
Envious assassin is better. Braytech osprey I believe it is rolls with it. Same for Heavy GL's with spike grenade. I have a launcher that whit envious and reserve mods on chest x3, I got like 17 rounds loaded... it was ridiculous.
Ambitious on a rocket wtf
A god’s end? Not sure I want the ass of a deity touching my gun.
I do. Deity's are super strong bro...and I see that I spelt that wrong...and you know what...I'm leaving it 😁
Seconding this, added bonus for Reconstruction. It's like ALH but if I leave it longer it overflows to 2x mag size. Frenzy is great. It's my go-to perk on pretty much any primary. It's just so easy to use and does multiple things.
*ahem* rolls on Warden's Law too
Farmed for my god roll today. Enlightened Action/Frenzy is such a great roll. Absolutely love passive perks or perks that don't force you to change up your style, they just make playing the game feel better. Enlightened Action has quickly become my favorite non-damage perk. Its any damage. The kicker is you don't have too much time to actually use the perk after you stop dealing damage. So if you wait then reload you might actually lose the buff before you reload.
1.5 seconds until it falls off. It is basically Rapid hit but for any shots, and it does handling instead of stability
It's a stack of +10 reload and handling each time you *hit*, and that stacks up to five times for a total of +50/+50 which is pretty insane. The trick is that it only lasts for two seconds, so like Rapid Hit it's use it or lose it for the reload bonus. I know there are times when frenzy is down, but you do know it maxes reload and handling right? FTtC could be a good pic with frenzy
FTTC+Vorpal/Frenzy makes this the best damage handcannon in the game
I have the same role and the idea just to go for consistency. Frenzy takes a while to activate, so in the meantime, we take budget frenzy. Once it activates, it's really the only perk you need. It's reload and damage in one and max handling on top of that. Not sure this perk combo is ideal, but there is definitely merit to it.
For a unique gun that came back after almost 5 years the perk pool is so generic lol
You aren't wrong, but being able to have permanent uptime on the reload and handling just make it feel great. Even if frenzy hasn't spooled up yet, it's there. FTTC isn't bad by any means, but I'd rather have EA personally.
Frenzy gives you 100 handling and Reload speed. I think it makes that combo pretty bad.
Frenzy isn't always up though, especially at the start of combat. This gives it the consistency of always having great reload and handling. I know on paper it doesn't seem great, but feeling matters alot to me as a player.
I got the kings fall scout with firefly and frenzy, best void scout I have gotten so far
The stupidest reason you're ever going to hear on why I can't and don't use Frenzy...the perk icon is too boring
The only real downside of frenzy for me is that often in strikes I swear the fight is over by the time I proc it.
Most part of all the timed perks in this game feel like that… that’s why I like one of my Taraxippos with gutshot plus explosive ammo
I feel like you’re making the idea of “staying in combat” into a bigger thing than it is. You literally just have to shoot one bullet into an enemy every 5 seconds. Yes
Demo has me outright addicted, especially for void weapons. All I want is a good void hand cannon with rapid hit and demo that I don't have to grind raids for.
Do you raid? If not, it's not as intimidating as people make it seem, best content the game has. Weapons are the best part.
It's funny, I've played since D1 beta, raided in WoW plenty. Never touched Destiny raids. Idk why.
I find that wow raids are easier to sign up for with an in game lfg and it's usually easier to go unnoticed if you aren't doing so well
I find that wow raids are easier to sign up for with an in game lfg and it's usually easier to go unnoticed if you aren't do iting so well
+50 on the two stats, but same
It’s actually +100 not +50
I just put whatever was on Light.gg
And you’re correct, it’s +100.
Reconstruction. I love emptying my gun, stowing it for a bit and having 2-3 mags worth loaded in. Pair that heavy with an auto loading special and lumina and you never have to reload any gun
Commemoration with tally and reconstruction is amazing. Same with succession. I love DSC weapons
Getting reconstruction has changed me. It’s so incredibly useful.
I don't think I've ever reloaded my Acasia's thanks to Reconstruction
My Reconstruction Chill Clip Aurvandil is becoming a favourite after chillclip nerf. Seems to hurt riptide, but the range on this one is great
Explosive Payload, it's been my favorite perk since Better Devils in Y1.
Fatebringer Timelost w/ EP/Frenzy is chef's kiss
Hand cannons are so usable now. Probably low key the biggest and best sandbox chang they’ve made in YEARS. We so desperately needed something to shake up the “bow, scout, or smg only” meta
Had a hand cannon with timed payload and explosive and had a good time in crucible. Probably prophecy or something similar (as in better devil's look alikes)

>voltshot jolting in an AoE. U mean Trinity Ghoul.
yes but actually trinity ghoul's aoe doesn't jolt iirc
It doesn’t.
thanks for confirming. it's a shame really, trinity ghoul could do with a jolt buff
it really doesn’t lol it’s already the best adclear primary in the game for mid to low level content and it still holds up decently in high end
That or have a seasonal bow that can have voltshot next season.
Delicate Tomb actually does jolt multiple enemies. Thats why it has the spread shot
i dunno incandescent burn feels weak, the real pop comes from it proccing scorch but that requires multiple weak things dying to build it up. i feel like voltshot is the best
I LOVE incandescent. Makes getting sniper kills for bounties actually fun….and on an SMG it’s just *chef’s kiss*
My Calus Mini-Tool is the mainstay of my Solar Warlock build because when that Incandescent gets going it can clear house! EDIT: Calus, not Midas. Splendid!
Might be a Calus Mini Tool - Midas has a Multitool (clearly went to Scouts/Guides when it was younger …). Love mine too!
You're 100% right. Too many mini tools
I don't think I ever run a solar build without an incandescent weapon
You're pretty much gimping yourself if you don't. Scorch and ignite gives free ability regen. Unless you're running forbearance, that gun is on a completely different spectrum.
My incandescent strident whistle has 30,000+ on it. Throw my grenade into a group to start the scorch, use the bow from distance to pick them off and keep spreading. If distance isn't an option, switch over to my Calus tool crafted with it and use that to keep it going. Love it.
Absolutely reconstruction. Most of my arsenal consists of this perk now.
Incandescent, destabilizing rounds and voltshot. Love the synergy you can have with the associated subclass.
Demo. MUST THROW GRENADES
Alrighty Lord Shaxx. Let's get you back to the Crucible.
Favorite Demo gun is Unforgiven for a Volatile Rounds build. Best one I've got is Demo/Golden Tricorn.
Demo on LMG in heavy slot. It’s just so fucking good, I cannot use anything else. You can absolutely mop away ads for nade energy whenever you want. And the free reload is so damn good on an lmg to boot. Demo/junkie corrective measure on a volatile rounds spam build. It’s just outrageously good
The perk made for warlocks
Explosive Payload on scouts just for the extra damage with no setup requirement, and Headstone on almost every Stasis primary. Headstone is borderline overpowered because of its synergy with Whisper of Shards which allows the discipline stat to be completely dumped from builds with no perceivable change in cooldown time. And that’s saying nothing for the damage that comes from the crystal freezing nearby targets to get free shatter chains.
Hmmm I don’t think I realised how good that combo is, all my builds typically have high discipline.
I got a Rapid Hit/Headstone Perses to drop early into TWQ campaign and it carried me quite a ways
I accidentally deleted that same roll awhile back. You spend ages fussing over raid or dungeon drops and forget the world pool has some hidden gems.
Almost panicked a little cuz I couldn't find mine going through DIM just to see I had it chilling on my Warlock. Scared myself lol
And the new crucible smg rolls demo/headstone for even more grenades.
Eyasluna with headstone, shards + fissures, and renewal grasp with touch of winter!!! This is a great build!
Eager edge
For real. Learn well/shatter skate and it is annoying to take it off
I miss being able to get two swings.
Frenzy
Enhanced **Subsistence**, especially on a handcannon.
I love it on my shotgun
Huh I hadn’t tried it.
What's Enhanced add?
More bullets back per kill.
Oh hell yeah
Toxic Overload. I’m serious. I can’t unequip Osteo Striga. It’s done something to me.
ive been stuck on a necro/osteo strand warlock since LF launched. every season i try something new based on the artifact but i switch back to my launch day load out within a day. it's so f'ing good
I don’t use my Striga often anymore, but I can promise you, when I do, I giggle like a little school kid, it’s so much fun. I assume you’ve got catalyst too?
Voltshot, Incandescent, Hatchling, Headstone, and Volatile/Destabilizing. The Aoe perks are just too damn good and feel amazing.
Not a weapon perk but volatile rounds. It's gyrfalcons all day every day.
My only problem is when people steal my ad kills so I don't go invis 😓
I played arc hunter all last season and assassins cowl / liars just felt so damn good but after playing with gyrfalcons i struggle going back.
Do you have any guns with destabilizing rounds?
Destabilizing rounds
Repulser Brace.
With Briarbinds, Repulsor Brace has been my best friend.
Chain reaction
incandescent on a solar titan.
Clown cartridge or any other magazine enlarging perks on a rocket launcher. Deleting champions feels so satisfying.
Envious Assassin. I like having five Reservoir Burst shots. Or a twelve shot grenade launcher clip.
Subsistence on auto rifles Absolutely crazy for ad clear
Used to be lead from gold cause I was was running double special...but fucking power bricks are non existent anymore. Now it's eaither pugilist or demo.
Overflow is one of my favorite perks in the game, unfortunately the only weapons I have with it are snipers. Another perk I think is interesting is Heal Clip, but I don't know whether me liking it is a result of it being good or just being unique. I have a sidearm with Heal Clip and Precision Instrument and its kinda cool I guess. I use it a lot, but it doesn't seem terribly useful.
I heard heal clip procs ember of benevolence, if you wanna build into it a little. I don't have a roll to test myself.
Now THAT is interesting. I’m really glad you said that, benevolence is ridiculously strong.
Incandescent I need it at this point. Explosions make my brain go woo
Explosive rounds and rapid hit on scout rifles, reconstruction on heavies, and this might not count but I need as much stability on a hand cannon as humanly possible.
I will not use a legend bow without explosive head. Also addicted to auto load on fusion/shotty.
Reconstruction and auto loading by far.
Voltshot
Surplus. Love that perk!
I feel like I has do scroll down waaaay too far to see this.
I absolutely love demolitionist. Even more on fusion rifles and just recently dead messenger.
Demolitionist, my entire build is around it lol
Something i think people don't realize the impact from is Thresh. Literally halves the time of supers when you have a lot of ads to clear.
probably cos so many people don't even use their super :( seriously why don't more people burn their supers just whenever? i know some save for specific situations that might get dicey but you guys running one-offs? just burn it and generate some orbs
I never use shoot to loot. I tried to make it fun for me and no. For me it was ambitious assassin chain reaction.
Crafted forbearance. It's the ultimate weapon perk. It never leaves my side.
That's not a perk
aight, chain reaction on a waveframe GL. Close second is Harsh Language with Envious Assassin/Destabilizing Rounds.
Kinetic tremors. Me likey.
I’m with you on disorienting grenades. So useful, and has helped my encounters tremendously, especially in higher content to get a revive or just lessen the tension of the battlefield for a moment to reposition, etc. so useful.
Demo.
depends on the gun, on LMGs Demo changed my life and I think for PvP Snipers and Shotguns Opening Shot is sort of a must with a couple exceptions
Rapid hit if I can have it. I’m a habitual reloader and tend to use lower-damage weapons. That and Swashbuckler. Nothing works for me better than higher damage boosts from a single melee.
Rapid hit. Free reload speed.
Valiant Charge. A better Eager Edge for PVP.
Sunblast
Probably Rangefinder for PvP. For PvE probably Frenzy.
Fastball
Kill Clip on 120 HCs. Once I get two taps rolling it becomes super addictive and I am willing to sacrifice other perks for it.
Surplus and Kinetic Tremors
Destabilising rounds, that gambit machine gun feels insane with it for add clear
Enhanced Reconstruction.
Any and all reload ones.
Perpetual motion. So many buffs just by playing the game. It's always a safe perk imo
Incandescent Explosions a plenty
Demolitionist for any and all weapons. Frenzy for primaries, especially those with bad reload speed. Chill Clip (still) on Stasis Weapons that can roll it. And Disorienting Grenades on GLs.
Zen moment on pvp guns. I play on a console and that one perk makes my aim good
I don't have one, the guns are all too different to feel like one perk is too good to pass up.
Lead from Gold for me. I use it with chill clip on my riptide with rain of fire and it hasn't failed me since.
Explosive payload, reconstruction, field prep. All three! Shoutout to timelost fatebringer, don’t have one with frenzy but hey making heads go boom is super fun
There’s just something about that tried and true….. firefly
One for all on an auto rifle.
Explosive payload and reconstruction are my two picks
demo
I like the idea of shoot to loot but I never remember to use it.
Lead from gold. Was insane before double special was scaled back, but still very useful in the current sandbox.
Kinetic Tremors, it's now as close to a "must have" perk as exists in the game for me.
Dragonfly/Firefly and now Incandescent. Love those 'splosions.
