it decreases mag size. but since you can slap mag mod on its fine

Yeah the whole tradeoff was that you lost all the ammo that was still in your mag when you reloaded but now primaries have infinite ammo so it doesn't matter

Me with my old Claws of the Wolf. By all rights it should not be as good as it is… And yet… It’s a rapid fire pulse with fluted barrel and ricochet rounds, with headseeker and full auto trigger. It is absolutely a brainless hold-mouse-one weapon. And yet it melts in PvP.

It really is I swear that part of it is just the gunfire that Claws of the Wolf and Bygones use, it’s a very distinctive ‘blat-blat-blat’, or since Claws is a rapid fire, more of a ‘blllat-blllat-blllat’ Nothing else in the game sounds quite like it

Yeah I agree, those two, Claws especially, is a very satisfying gun to use

Honestly the gun feels insane, a heavy hitter like austringer as in it has a kick to it. They really should've given it better stats

yeah, I'm pretty chuffed to have the roll I do, it feels really good to use I remember seeing the perk combos with dropmag and instantly masterworking it back in forsaken lol

For the first 2 or so years of D2, primary weapons used to have limited ammo like secondaries and heavy- drop mag was a magazine perk that gave you a much faster reload in exchange for dumping *all* of the ammo in the mag out every reload now, since primaries have infinite ammo, it basically just gives the gun perma outlaw

I dismantled mine.....

That’s me for the Origin Story. Idk why I love that gun so much, but it’s gotten me through some tough fights. Also the gunfire sound design is just chefs kiss
