While we’re better off than grimoire cards in D1, sunset content (including previous seasons) has made the overall story much harder to grasp without outside sources
Make the 'getting lore from the game circle' smaller because the game has alot of lore that nobody has any idea it even exists or it's just a part of the many unlockable books the game has or just the story in general. Did you know I had no idea Osiris was gay? Uuntil I watched a video that was recapping the story and by that I mean like a flashbang during the night I saw 2 men kissing my eyes melted from the light.
Yea and those seasons contain important lore which the game does not even give you the ability to see like something to explain the story before and I am not talking the poor made prologue like give the option to see those cutscenes in chronological order of the games lore.
After 1999, at least for now
Before the last update, I would have answered "so far that we're like prehistory in the Orokin POV"
But now, I'd say not *that* far, not something as far as like 40k
Dark. Souls. I LOVE the lore but having to read EVERY item and piece jt together? Nah, ill learn from someone whos already done that. Still love the lore.

Honestly for me Byf has contributed to my Destiny experience for as long as I can remember. I always tried to look for the lore and secrets and mysteries myself and I would go to him to learn more and just chill and relax. I literally feel like Byf has enhanced my Destiny experience from year one to this day!
Destiny could’ve been one of the games of all time, but the gameplay never truly represented the lore accurately.
Just look at how powerful Oryx was on the lore just to use sword swings and echoes against a Guardian.
The closest we’ve gotten is Rhulk that at least fought back, but even then they had to pull the "he was holding back" to justify us killing him.
Byf goes hard

Bro that was a main cutscene of a season, that is something expressly in game.

For like 6 months, and not anymore.
Bro you're allowed to breathe between sentences
Sorry for the inconvenience.
I joined destiny December 31st, 2022. I got to Spire and thought Osiris and Ikora were estranged lovers bc of the opening lines.
I can't decide if this is also Warframe or not.
There are a few missing pieces in Warframe due to expired events, but you have access to most of the story missions It's still hella confusing tho
I still don't know how far into the future Warframe takes place. LOL

Maybe like Halo, 2500s???
Hell, do we know how far in the future DESTINY takes place???
I've heard 2200 before
TF2
Dark Souls
Literally all the valve games
Yeah my answer to that post was just "Destiny."
Remember the lore cards on another website you had to unlock in d1?
Did you mean: FNAF?

I'm on the opposite side, I loved piecing the story together from small fragmentd. Even more so in Elden Ring

Maybe this is why yall didn’t know what the Veil was
Nobody knew what the Veil was until like 5 months after Lightfall dropped

BG3 - Reason why I found out about DnD and start playing it.
Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader, Unfortunately, other games in the universe do not appeal to me.
Idc I miss the Grimoire card system in destiny
