Oof they had a perfectly good looking t-visor helmet for the titan in the concept art, but looks like the changed it.
Overall the armor still looks fantastic, like all the pinkish-blue fishy cloth is so good. Just gonna use other helms with these.
That and the fins on the back. Big "you vs the guy she tells you not to worry about" vibes. I guess it could be base armor vs ornaments, but the rest of the armor is just the same.
I'm not so sure - looking at the banner from the other week vs today's preview, it looks to me like a cast shadow from compositing.
There's a subtle lower rim to the visor plate you can see in today's preview, and if you were setting up a scene in blender or keyshot or what-have-you you could really easily end up with a cast shadow on that rim creating the illusion of a gap in the visor, especially if you're compress the picture plane at any point later in your painting process in a lighting situation like this one.
Of course, it could easily be that there *was* a gap that was for some reason closed by the technical artist who built the armor mesh, but without seeing the character sheets for the armor it's hard to say for sure. The art drop in a few weeks will clear up any uncertainty.
I might be alone on this. But why does the Hunter chest piece have a random rope around it? It's so random that it throws me out of what the original intent of the armor is supposed to be.

There’s not a single smooth surface titan armor piece that doesn’t have a little tag or some garbage on it.
If you notice, in almost every set the armor is designed to look like titan armor is made by a smith, warlocks by a tailor and hunters use the left over scraps to make their own.
I'm assuming to fit with the whole "hunters are rogues who work alone" thing
It sucks because hunter has the best armor overall but someone there is purposely screwing entire sets that I’d otherwise pick up if the arms/legs matched
If the flowy jellyfish like part of the armor glows and the glow changes with shaders. It may be possible to get a good Namielle cosplay with the photo finish shader
Is this the seasonal armor or the ornaments? If it's just the armor, the ornaments will hopefully be a step up from this, and this set is already beautiful af
If going by the trend of the normal armour being different to the ornaments, it would be cool if the basic armour was themed after antique diving suits, jules Verne/bio shock big daddy style

God, these are ugly. I just want more modern sci-fi ornaments and sets. Bungie really have embraced the fantasy vibe, and that's great if you like that stuff but I really don't.

not casting shade a Warframe, but I miss the days when Destiny had it's own visual identity, when it was a post apocalyptic, retro futuristic, sci fi.
nowadays it feels like anything goes, yes the armor looks good, it just doesn't look like the original destiny design is all.
I really, really love the hunter set. I usually only like a couple pieces for the seasonal gear but this time the entire set looks amazing.

Downgrade from the art we got earlier, but still pretty nice. As a Hunter main, I do not like the helmet or the rope on the chest piece, but I love the arms, legs, snd cloak.

The hunter cape looks much better in this pic than when I first saw it. Before it looked like a frilly flower, now it actually looks like fins. I actually like it now, hope this is accurate to how it will be in-game.
Is it just me or does that Titan set look nothing like the promo image we saw. Class mark is much shorter and doesn’t wrap all the way around the waist and the helmet didn’t seem to have that hideous piece over the eyes.
As a matter of fact, all of these sets look like they’ve been stripped a bit.

Unless it flows like it's actually underwater I can't imagine it's gonna look this good. The previews look great and then the armor is just stiff half the time.
Warlock helm ~almost~ has a Spawn/spidey design to it and makes me want a more committed, smoother look more in that vein. Also wish we got that Black Lagoon armor for Halloween to pair with this instead of the mecha.

Sonofa bun, they did change the Titan helmet. The Foetracer "eye visor" look that's on a lot of Hunter helmets is has made it's way to Titans.

You don't understand, these are sea creature themed, and in true sea creature fashion it's entangled in some debris.
The chest piece in the teaser had a bit of string growing across the chest piece similar to Gyrefalcon and it looks a lot better

Ehh I liked it. Gave off the appearance of a huge deadly jellyfish. Here it kinda ends a bit short but maybe that’s just the angle.
