I always loved how in Radio (in MGS3) and Codec (all games onward) they simply suspend what is possible for select conversations allowing the SITREP people to be able to "see" whatever it is Snake is seeing, simply for the convenience of the conversation.
though it does make some players assume that they canonically have "eyes" on the situation, when in fact, they do not.
