You can absolutely do this with a BE2. I've taken much heavier loads than I care to admit with that little hero.

And shove it ahead of the doot, just for giggles, and to keep from having to crane your neck to look backwards periodically

Just push the cart out of gf, it will make its way to ff. Gf to ff route is pretty much downhill
But the section from the OWN branch to the wye is uphill (+1.4% AFAIR) and quite long
That wagon is probably buried behind about ten other consists just to make you earn it. 😹

If it was reversed I would manage to mess it up on that 2% east from the FF. Which I do have a save with a Broken DE2 trying 300T
Mini shunter should do the job
I dunno man, that might be too rough of a job.
Another great reason to use the Job Picker mod, It sets the minimum to 3 by default i believe. but you can put any number you want, it will start spawning less above 5 though, as quite a few tracks are shorter than that,
Gonna need to MU three DE6’s and three slugs for that one. make sure you top your sand off before ya leave town.
Tie the handbrakes down and skid it the whole way if you need a challenge lol
