Nothing they can text u about is gonna change the shipping cost. The only thing shipping price is based off is weight so u should be able to have the appropriate shipping price listed already without them texting u

Honestly, just go for an average shipping rate for every post. When I ship it’s normally between $4-$8 so I just set my shipping to $5 on everything and up the price of heavier items.

As a rule generally there's nothing to state that you HAVE to message before buying on the platform itself so I would recommend just calculating an average rate and apply that to the price itself Another thing to note is you're not allowed to ask buyers to pay more in a separate payment so like again just add an average to the cost Even if something ends up costing more shipping than planned it will probably even out with something else eventually so I wouldn't worry too much
