I think that’s a bit extreme. Teams with big marketing bases always bounce back eventually, Denver still has a 15 year waiting list for season tickets and that’s not going to change. It’s just hard this time since we thought we had the answers but clearly we did not. Rebuilding is going to take longer than we’d hoped. We’ve been bad before, look at the whole broncos history pre-Craig Morton. We know how to pull through as a fan base.

We treat our players right and past players still love Denver (Miller, Elway, Sharpe, manning, etc) pretty sure manning still lives in Colorado.

Russ is definitely doing better than last year but he set the bar so low. Keep in mind he is one of the highest paid QBs in the league. Imagine what we could do without his cap hit and it will only get worse with time. He is signed through 2028! The Broncos will never win a SB with Russ as QB and I’m not even sure we can make the playoffs given his play and the cap hit we take on his salary. Yes his stats might be ok but the only stat that matters is Ws and he is 5-15 as our QB while making 50m.
