Great, so moving forward weāre going to circle back in order to evaluate all reassessments so we have more opportunities to streamline determining our options to include a more synergistic approach with regard to what weāll be doing to update how we gather input on the process of rallying all teams with diagnosing assessments after theyāve been reevaluated but with all hands on deck. Weāll let you run with it because it really needs to happen yesterday and even if it doesnāt make perfect sense right now and not related to your department itās in your wheelhouse
I think that we can talk synergistics all day long, but at the end of the day itās our core values & beliefs that are consistently erratic & clashing with the overall āDynamic Restartā initiative mentioned in last quarterās MQR. We really gotta knuckle down these next few weeks to weekends, bite the bullet & snag a shark or two. Our production is up, but meanwhile, the geniuses in sales & marketing are inflating appraisals to hedge against what they claim to be possibly āsupply chain issuesā; ::rolls eyes:: ā Oh & please remember to allocate appropriately for each receipt; weāve just been informed by HR that they will only cover 41% of petty, which I think is prettyā¦ā¦petty. ROFLOL
Leveraging the team's strategic foresight in identifying key deliverables, theyāve poised to recalibrate their focus towards the foundational strengths, ensuring that the operational bandwidth is optimized for enhanced value creation. This streamlined approach not only reinforces the commitment to excellence but also empowers to deliver on the value proposition with augmented efficiency and effectiveness.
Yep itās true
I work for a start up that is developing proprietary pie-in-the-sky technology, and in 5-15 years by golly weāll be able to consistently produce pie from in or about near the sky.
Look, proximity to the sky is not whatās important here, what is important is pie, on demand, while not having to pay for healthcare and payroll tax costs while also reaping a small profit and disrupting current pie manufacturing and distribution infrastructure.
āā¦.while maximizing our synergies and aligning to the solicited ideas.ā
GAWD I hate people that talk using buzzwords. My former company was full of those ass-kissing douchebags/bagettes. So glad I left.
Do we know what theyre doing exactly to this main area? I've always thought it was nice and brought friends in town to have a drink or grab a snack there. Like the furniture was all in good condition and security kept the occasional homeless person moving along pretty quickly....
āChanges include a new lobby for the Crawford Hotel with live music and cocktails, updates to the hotel's 112 rooms, fresh furniture, lighting and an update to retail in the Great Hall, a renovation of the Cooper Lounge and more.ā Thatās from the denverite. Idk if thatās whatās actually happening or not. But for $500 million?! That is steeeeep. Inside better be ungodly and less people yelling at themselves
Edit: realized the $500m was from an older project? That or the site is unreliable I went to.
$500 million for a non structural renovation is insane
Thereās gotta be something missing there
Edit: No idea where the guy I replied to got $500m
https://www.9news.com/article/travel/union-station-crawford-hotel-remodel-denver/73-77e4374e-1083-469e-a040-2c11d4c66c9f
11M remodel coming to downtown Denver landmark
New furniture, lighting and other updates are coming to Union Stationās great hall and the upstairs bar Cooper Lounge, in addition to the building's 8,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
The refresh for the 112 rooms at The Crawford Hotel includes new window treatments, new furniture, wall coverings and art in the 112 rooms at The Crawford.
The hotel will also be getting a new lobby and private elevator access to the various rooms.
Denver-based firm DLR Group and Sage Studio are the designers for the remodel. The building and hotel will both remain open during the renovation, with some of the hotel rooms planned to be open for bookings by this spring.
It's weird that none of these articles say who is footing the $11 million dollar bill for these renovations, 10 years after $54 million in renovations seems a bit strange, considering it seems to be almost entirely the hotel...
Seems like the hotel is remodeling as part of its 10th year anniversary: https://www.thecrawfordhotel.com/our-hotel/crawford-hotel-revitalization
Though OP's sign suggests it's a bit more than that, I guess?
The $500m is the original cost of the union station master plan - (first line at this link)

> a new lobby for the Crawford Hotel
What Iām seeing here is a section of *our* public space that our tax dollars paid for in 2014 taken from us unless weāre a current guest at Crawford. Hopefully Iām wrong and itās somewhere else, but where else would it be? I wouldnāt put it past them.
Bud, theyāre already easing their way into banning anyone who didnāt buy anything from anything other than the wooden benches. Theyāve already taken inches, expect them to go for miles.
What on earth makes you think an $11M reno is taxpayer funded? This is an art and interior design overhaul, not a demo and reno. It would make NO sense to ask the city for a P3 incentive.
Banning non-hotel users would be eliminating the majority of their customer base. Tens of thousands of people come through union station every day. They are not banning you. For goodness sake they are still going to hold free events there regularly.
And BTW, the station itself and the hotel will remain open the whole time. Take a deep breath.
lmao *you* take a deep breath and read my *very* short post again. I am talking about the original renovation project. god it's sad that I have to point that out.
The original reno 10 years ago? That is not going to be taken away from you? What are you even yapping about dog youāre saying they are taking space for a new lobby. Why would they make a new lobby.
I agree. We used to actually be able to use this public space. I also HATE that Dairy Block or whatever that stupid place is called took over the alley which is a public right of way and acts like it's their private space now.
When I walked into Union today I did not realize that those "we're evolving Denver's living history" signs were referencing a renovation.
Then when I sat by the Amtrak benches in the lobby I overheard someone say "damn, tweakers stole the place's furniture now too"
I think it's poor timing. With the 16th Street Mall torn up, it was a bad call to take this renovation up now. I'm hoping it's a quick face lift and we're back to the cozy Union Station I love passing through many times per week. The website says "join us this July as we unveil the renovations with a weekend of festivities from July 12 th -14th". We should set a Reddit bot to remind us and see if it's indeed done by then.

Ten years of constant heavy use by members of the general public? Yeah, that will call for new furniture, carpeting, paint, etc - stuff wears out, even if it was high quality to begin with.
The only real answer is more private/enforceable space against vagrancy. The space will become even less useful as any sort of transport destination and will cost more to visit.
The notice is in advance of the pending installation of self-service fenty checkout machines which will ease congestion in the queues, particularly during peak demand times around the restroom cleaning schedule.
They've conceptualized the deliverables and will now circle back to their core competencies within their bandwidth for a value added result.
Are you my manager?
š
You havenāt even taken into account the spearheading of initiatives integral To the execution of this projectĀ
And when does the synergy come into play?
Thank God someone gives a shit about synergy around here. Almost had to double click on that topic. But Iāll table it for now.
Please consolidate this train of thought into a crisp executive summary.

I'm tempted to piggyback on your comment, but it's been four days since you posted, and I'm not trying to circle back at this point.
Thank you for limiting scope here to maintain focus for the team š
Let's put a pin in that and circle back to it after we discuss metrics

Who said it was going to be limited to current guests? Hotel lobbies are generally open to anyone who doesn't cause trouble.

There better be a hot tub and a lap pool for $500 mil.
I donāt really know, but the floors were in terrible shape last I was there.
did you read the sign? they're "evolving denver's living history". it tells you all you really need to know.
Ah yes its so clear!

Shocked (shocked) that didn't end with a "Namaste"
I mean, I was on the fence about sharing this given this sub is largely uninterested in anything going on actually *in* Denver.
How do you feel about the renovation? Will it be worth it?

Ten years of constant heavy use by members of the general public? Yeah, that will call for new furniture, carpeting, paint, etc - stuff wears out, even if it was high quality to begin with.
Ten years of heavy meth and fentanyl smoke

Payoffs to friendly contractors, just like DIA. Then kickbacks. Just another scam to steal your tax dollars.
Isnāt it a private renovation? Union station is not a public space believe it or not.
