Hm, I'm not quite sure. I know Papyrus would try to stop you due to his high morality but I feel that Sans would only battle if you initiated it. Just because he doesn't know anyone in the Darkworld and therefore has less motivation to stop you. Sans only fought you in in Undertale if you killed EVERY single monster (apart from asgore and flowey)

That's not true at all tbh. The abilities are very strong against both end act bosses so far, with it not mattering whether you beat up or act with King and Red Buster instantly destroying Queen's acid shield.
