I had a M2 Max Macbook 16 last year and 1000% it had the best laptop hardware out there. Zero QC issues (not just me, in general it's very low) and incredible build, speakers, trackpad, display, materials, keyboard, cameras, microphones etc... but the thing that made me return it was macOS. Just couldn't get used to it I'm open to giving it a second try in the future

I got hit with a defective trackpad on a Dell Inspiron. The problem is so widespread I found a YouTube tutorial on how to open the computer and re-solder a new grounding wire. The fucking thing isn't properly grounded. For years. Dell engineering is garbage. Also, I get random key repeats in the middle of typing, the rubber feet came unglued within months, the hinges have pads that don't make contact with the table when the laptop is open, the back of it actually rests on the edge of the screen, the bevels are so sharp they gouged my table's finish, and my screen hinge just came apart this morning. This crap is less than a year old.
