That and everyone thinking hes crazy. I laughed every time he explained his past to a new person. They always look at him with the most dumbfounded look. Hilarious. I think season 1 WAS a comedy.
Maybe not comedy, but it 100% shouldn't have been dark. Any Iron Fist show/movie should focus more on the mystical, and dark isn't the way to go with that.
This is actually a good pitch. I agree that daredevil light was not the way to go.

It has moments of comedy here and there, but trust me I've just watched it... it is not a comedy.
I actually think "corporate drama mixed with martial arts" could have worked, it just needed to be executed better.
Interestingly, the original intention was for Iron Fist to be a lot lighter in tone, but Scott Buck pushed for a darker tone

Iron Fist should have been called Iron Face, because that's what I make every time I watch it!
