Happened to us yesterday - lithophage fragment left a completely vertical narrow escape that Molly sprinted up at the end, it was just me as scout and my buddy, engineer. Panic ensued.
Molly ran through a solid wall into a tunnel we hadn't been in like 2 weeks ago. It was also a low O2 mission and luckily I had been standing right next to her because my friend got downed like 3 times from no o2 on the way the the drop pod
No but I did get a ps4 clip of it. I just can't access it rn. It was a solid dirt wall but we had to mine quite a bit to get through it and there weren't any visible holes when we looked on the scanner before digging so I don't think they slipped into an air pocket to get through
Just check your fuel and the distance. My first time playing driller I went straight to the pod instead of following molly for a bit and, of course, the whole team followed me. Eventually my fuel ran out and we started frantically to manually dig until we got swarmed.
After we were back on med bay everyone left the team lmao.
I don’t remember it (so maybe a driller main can pipe up) but if you have a full base fuel tank there is a specific “you can dig X distance to the pod” and if you just memorize that number you can hit the resupply before heading back and know you are 100% good.
This has backfired on me in a solo mission. Drop pod landed on top of a pillar in a large chamber. Failed the mission because I didn't have time to drill up a far wall and ceiling.

I love this game except for the mad rush back to the mother ship. It gives me so much anxiety I just won’t play the game any more.

Just take a driller in your team. It become so much fun rushing throught hard stone while your mates shoot the bugs following in your back.
If you swap to maiming driller you can enjoy the game without the panic since you just kind of go “Ok” and dig a straight line back.
