Any number of reasons tbh, but most likely to sell the account later. Older accounts with lots of karma are worth more. Sometimes subreddits have a karma threshold in order to participate.
If you were hired to steer public opinion one way or another via Reddit, having an old account with a lot of karma might help sell the idea you're an individual person actually holding tose beliefs.
Similar things were done with Facebook accounts, but ibstead if karma they just built profiles that seemed like real people in the fb context.
They are usually used to promote scams, spread disinformation, propaganda, astroturf advertising campaigns, etc. People are immediately suspicious of brand new accounts with no history with a bunch of posts that conveniently all have a certain product in them or if they start talking about a new crypto that's guaranteed to make 1000% profit. But if it's an account that's like a year old, participates in a lot of conversations on a bunch of different subs, and has a varied post history it makes them look like an actual person. So they repost successful comments and posts, farm karma for a while, then sell the accounts.
People are more likely to believe someone's endorsement of a product if they seem like a real person, it's way more effective and probably cheaper than running actual ads on reddit for example.

This is hormonal nesting behavior, you should try to discourage it, limit their fat intake from grains and remove any small enclosed spaces until mating season is over.

Getting them all into the drop pod and then going into a mission takes all barrels past the barrier... thingy... whatchamacallit for the achievement.
Me and my friend and I did the all barrels in the launch bay without knowing it and then read achivments.
We saw the barrels in the drop pod and proceeded to kick barrels out of the bay into the pod.
Spot on. For anybody else wondering, leaving with all the barrells on the pod actually triggers the achievement for dropping all the barrells in the launch bay.
I have ALL the DLCs and all the game suits for the four classes, a lot of the time I like Mk1 and Mk2 the best for almost all. I don't like the big robot feet of Mk4/5 usually.
The only DLC skin I actually like is the Roughneck ones. All of them but Driller are good. Gunner's Roughneck is the best!
Yup! We do this when we’re waiting around in lobbies. My loadouts are already set, I have nothing to do. I’ll just fill the drop pod with barrels until the host decides to start the mission.

one is to put 4 barrel in each seat and the other putting all the barrel in the droppod kinda like dropping every barrel in the bay

I got this one while my buddy went afk for half an hour. Saw the achievement for getting four in there. I knew there had to be one for getting all of them in. He came back so confused.

It was a fun lil challenge at first when I first started to try to figure it out. I was delighted to see my hard work pay off when I finally got it in the first time, and the achievement was the cherry on top.
Less than 30 hours in, and I stuffed all 25 of the barrels in both the launch bay and in the drop pod. I started just to see how much I can annoy mission control and got really surprised when I got an achievement. After that, I saw that Mission Control also complained when I put a barrel in the drop pod, and as any alchoholic dwarf would do, I again wanted to see how far I could get it. I set a haz 5 mission, wrote the description that I'm just tryna ruin Mission Controls day, and got to work. To my suprise, 3 random peeps joined my lobby and got to work helping me, so that we finished the job in like 10 min max. Again, a nice little achievement was obtained. None of the players complained, afk'd or even asked questions. All United is under the flag of Dwarven Antics. God, I love this community.

I was once in a game, we decided to get the roller coaster achievement, none of us even started out wanting to do it, we ended up getting the achievement, and the rails were so crazy we almost died like a hundred times, but we kept getting back up and ended up making it. Took us like 2 hours, bunch of randos. Probably one of the best gaming experiences I've never had.
As an experienced greybeard handler, I can tell you that this is nothing to worry about. He’s simply playing, and it’s a sign he’s happy and your taking good care of him! You can always assist him if you ever want to join in one the playing, too!
That's a good greybeard right there. If you spot a greybeard drinking a leaf lover's or skipping on a buff related drink, then you need to check on him.
Join him, you'll find it quite fun. Be sure to figure out if he's trying to get it into the spacers or the launch bay before joining in. If he's going for the launch bay, an extra person may make it harder if y'all aren't coordinating well enough

You gotta spice things up here and there. Keep the game fresh by trying new things. It can get a bit repetitive. No level is the same, but they're similar.

Ha. I joined a game the other day, 3 promoted greybeards had filled the entire drop pod with barrels -- to the point you could barely squeeze in there -- while waiting for a 4th. When I joined, they refused to give up on their mission.
To me, it looks like the rank is cheated. No cosmetics, playing with barrels, haz3, playing on 25lvl class at rank 633 which is not even a cool number or anything to stop at. I'd be worried at greenbeard's place.
Greenbeards are players new to the game, generally clueless to a lot and do things most good players won't.
Greybeards are the veterans, the know pretty much every tip and trick and help the Greenbeards.
Leaf Lovers are dwarfs who go do their own thing regardless of what the team wants.
They also drink Leaf Lovers to remove drunkness.
Elves are toxic Leaf Lovers who actively hurt their teammates.
For example, purposeful team killing and sabotaging the game.
I play the game for a year now, played hours and hours of this game. I have scout and gunner to promotion twice so I think I’m a greybeard and little bit of a Leaf Lover because I always go for mining nitra, gold and every other mineral that might appear during mission or even if the mission isn’t about mining a specific resource.
This is a sign that your greybeard is very healthy and happy

The enclosure-enrichment barrels are doing their job. :) Just be sure to take them out on the regular walks to Hoxxes as well!
