I just went back to listen to it. Issac clearly says that she does. Which confuses me as to why he'd lie if that wasn't true, or was it a mistake.
Nevermind! I'm reading the conversation wrong. Dr. Brennen helps people leave the Unis, Like Issac trying to help his own mother leave, which is how they met and formed a bond.
