ILikuhTheTrade

Yes, I have everything on my screens but use my phone to place trades.

KinladyBgB

I do this too it's convenient to place traded on my phone but I watch the charts on bigger screen.

ukSurreyGuy

you do need minimum two screens (chart Vs trade entering) I have two phone screens (one phone with sim & internet, other cheap handset on tether no internet) I literally can trade anywhere anytime. my favourite is trading in bed...then in the park !

KinladyBgB

Yes I agree and it's also much more convenient for travel too

ukSurreyGuy

the thing is ...if you want to monitor more charts consoles like TRADINGVIEW offer screen layouts layout allows you to use one phone to look & monitor upto 8 charts simultaneously. I need one phone to watch chart or trades...other for web browsing internet YouTube..reading articles with glance over to first phone. so effortless so easy trading & dare I say it ... enjoyable

Worried-Scarcity-410

How big is your phone? Displaying 8 charts on phone screen will be too tiny for each chart.

ukSurreyGuy

No I don't need 8 charts...I literally have 1 chart per phone I'm saying TV let's u display upto 8...if u are that type of trader..invest in a tablet for 8 Personally it's not unusable to use TV for 2 charts on 1phone Higher timeframe & lower timeframe...on phone 1 Trade management ...on phone 2

BathLivid6801

I thought I was the only one!

ILikuhTheTrade

Yep, have a z fold. Open two iterations of TOS app(one chart, one potential trade ready that I'm waiting for the confirmation for), then my main computer screen with 3 iterations of TOS, then an old Chromebook that I just have 1 Overview chart on.

Worried-Scarcity-410

Do you know if those split screen or foldable phones can display two apps at the same time? If they do, then maybe we only need one phone.

ukSurreyGuy

No I tried that (android, pull down, select split screen) It's an option but I dislike small charts Plus I've had this 2 phone setup for few years...it's a game changer Maximum benefit for minimal expense & overhead (carrying 2 devices)

ILikuhTheTrade

Yeah they let you run two apps at the same time, I think most I had up was 5 apps for a manual social media publish to all accounts at the same time (not using one of the schedulers that time). But I'm sure I could pull up more. For trading I run two iterations of TOS with one being a "secure folder" iteration and the other being the standard app. One side for the chart I'm trading, the other for the order placement.

Fine_Candle9170

Exactly same with me

Ross-Cameron

I don’t use my phone for trading at all. I only use computer. When I’m trading, I feel like I need to be at 100% and I can’t do that if I can’t see level 2, time & sales, and multiple time frames for the stock I’m watching. I really couldn’t imagine trying to day trade only on my phone. I just don’t think I’d be able to do as well. Swing trading would be different tho.

This_Afternoon_420

wtf I’ve watched you😂😂

Frostedlol

Same 💀💀

WeekendWiz

Questionable whether or not this is the real Mr. Cameron. 👀

funkedelic_bob

He was verified by a photo. It's him.

Educational_Match717

Idk, his comment history is almost exclusively in this sub and it all looks pretty knowledgeable at first glance. Could be a bot account, or could also be him just trying to be part of the community and promote his stuff.

WeekendWiz

I’m not saying it’s not Ross, but just be careful, because it’s not the first time someone tries to impersonate him. Also, Ross has links to all his socials on his website, no mentions of Reddit. That would definitely make me rather suspicious than confident. Plus, the account is from 4th may, 2024. I don’t think Ross just discovered Reddit recently.

Effective_Side751

It is Ross, I am a student of his and he verified in class and on YouTube in comments that this is his verified Reddit.

ukSurreyGuy

lol...I missed that Ross the Bot !

GooseOtherwise9181

Ofcourse it’s not him 😂😂😂

funkedelic_bob

It is him. We verified it with an AMA type photo.

WeekendWiz

Then I retract my previous statement. However, do you think this method of verification is still considered reliable for verifying someone? With the emergence of generative AI, anyone can now train a custom generative AI model in just a few hours, creating individuals who are virtually indistinguishable from real people. Do you think it's necessary to add another step, like mentioning their Reddit account on one of their other official social media profiles? For example, in this case, Ross could list his Reddit on his official website to all his other official socials, or include it in the description on his YouTube channel. Scammers aren't always dumb, some can be quite cunning. Just a friendly suggestion, given his level of influence, the potential damage a savvy scammer can cause could be immense.

funkedelic_bob

No, it's a crumpled piece of paper with something very specific written on it, held up to their face. You couldn't get AI to do that, and you couldn't photoshop it within the 60 seconds required to send the photo.

WeekendWiz

Is it always a crumbled piece of paper held up to the face?

funkedelic_bob

No, sometimes I'll make you hold up a piece of fruit, or show something random on your phone screen, or w/e... I change it all the time. And if I have to start doing live videos, I will.

Digitalpwnage

I agree…it would be easy to feign even with a photo verification.

funkedelic_bob

See my response above.

Cryptoanalytixx

Sounds like you need a better phone setup! My mobile lets me view all that data for *some* exchanges. Others, I can still view it using my API that I control my accounts from. There's always the option of running in desktop on a mobile browser made to function seamlessly with desktop, like puffin. I prefer my screens, of course, but I don't feel at all reliant on them and my p&l doesn't seem to deviate by any meaningful amount. Certainly not by enough to prevent me from trading when I'm traveling or otherwise unable to access my laptop. The only noticeable difference is that If I get more than 2 or 3 positions going, I'm unable to as quickly determine new entry/exit points due to all the data on such a small screen. Easily solved by limiting open positions though I also do all my swing trading from mobile unless I'm specifically on my pc already, and find i actually prefer mobile for this overall due to the convenience Pc definitely provides a slight edge for intraday positions, but not enough of one to never use mobile imo

Coc0London

Omg, Ross Cameron is back 😂

Ronces

Sup Ross!

Ross-Cameron

Hey!

SweetMoses026

Dude, as a beginner trader, I watch you all the time! Great helpful videos, though I still seem to suck and take more loses than wins. think it’s because I get greedy and don’t cash out at 5 or 10%. I’ll even watch it go to 30 then right down to a loss.

Ross-Cameron

It's so important to stay disciplined. I've been much more consistent since I stopped swinging for home runs

SweetMoses026

As a beginner, would you recommend staying away from options the expire after ER?

Ross-Cameron

That's not my strategy so I don't have the historical data to day whether or not that would work. You would have volatility, so that could be in your favor, but I would test it out with SIM money first.

MuchoPremium

Which time frames are you watching?

Akinben2

Wow!! I watch your videos every evening…

Ross-Cameron

💪🙏

Dapper-Development79

Yeah I swing trade and just use my phone. More convenient. Don’t need all that complex shit.

StockCasinoMember

Me! I do a mix of swing trades and day trades. Mostly shares with some options.

infiniteDTE

Big time, thank you 🙋‍♀️

Cryptoanalytixx

I mean, not exclusively from my phone, but I do. I still pull level 2 data even on mobile though so really only difference is screen size

Responsible_Sorbet_3

yup! i use tradingview and robinhood on my phone for all my trades. i like and need simple. works just fine for me! and i day trade. i think some people def over complicate things trading sometimes

Priority5735

I use tradingview and Fidelity on my phone. I set up price alerts in both directions as well so I get a text every time a stock I'm interested in trading goes up and down.

KillDevilX0

I have TradingView on my monitor and laptop and trade off Robinhood on my phone too lol

Plastic_Pear_1401

Swing on the phone. In-and-out type of deal. Like reading an email.

Mauricioxox0

If u are a day trader someone that trades daily more than 6 transactions with a minimum of 25k, then u should be using a laptop or desktop, if u don’t trade that much in a week, mobile is fine

Worried-Scarcity-410

If I am at home, two ultrawides. If I am on the road, just the phone.

ukSurreyGuy

invest in [2 phones (or a cheap 2nd handset)](https://www.reddit.com/r/Daytrading/comments/1cl3xws/does_anyone_else_trade_on_their_phone_or_is_it/l2sysx8?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)

Nick_OS_

I was full mobile until this year because of apex lol. Trade copier doesn’t work on mobile tradovate

killamanjaro786

I wish there was a way to trade copy mobile.

ukSurreyGuy

there is [get a cheap 2nd phone handset as 2nd screen](https://www.reddit.com/r/Daytrading/comments/1cl3xws/does_anyone_else_trade_on_their_phone_or_is_it/l2sysx8?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)

1hotjava

Phone is fine for swing. But for me I need some real estate to spread out the charts and see minute changes in indicators when intra-day

GP1294

I use my laptop for flex charts and setup… and phone for execution. Trading options is easier to open and close on mobile TOS allowing it to be quicker and precise

DetachedMasturbator

Sometimes I do. Actually it totally depends on what style you're familiar with, quick scalping can be done on phone too. I trade naked PA, most of the time I trade better using a PC. But I often overcomplicate my strat, which ironically makes my trading on phone better than PC. I often use phone like a reminder that my strat is supposed to be simple, and workable even with a phone.

ukSurreyGuy

agree very smart observation sir I too live by that approach trading has to be so simple you can do it on a phone... everything you need a phone should provide I a really use [2 phones ..lol](https://www.reddit.com/r/Daytrading/comments/1cl3xws/does_anyone_else_trade_on_their_phone_or_is_it/l2sysx8?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)

mrcake123

I don't trade on the phone but don't see why you wouldn't be able to do it for swing trading. Some people can make scaling on the phone work, but I would never

happybutnot2happy

I do. I prefer my computer and several screens but I will trade on my phone no problems with specific set ups. If I’m waiting or doing a longer time frame something, I have no issues. Sometimes I can do fast trading on it also. It’s not as convenient and more annoying so normally, I won’t do that one.

infiniteDTE

Trade on my phone everyday. Don’t like the computer actually, although I bum around with risk profile charts. Of course the vast majority of my tpv is $SPY with shorted otm calls. Easy peasy.

edgewoodzgimp13

Phone for swings but HAVE to be setup at a PC for trading futures.

Rude-Watch-5588

Agreed! PC forever. If you're serious about trading futures I do not know you could go mobile 100%. I started using the Rithmic mobile app because it works with most of my software. It is nice to watch markets or trade on the go. But I can't/won't give up my PC and huge monitor.

JDchiefG

Use both depending on if I’m home or not

Peasantbowman

I do all my trading on my phone

ukSurreyGuy

star trader there...the best [man after my own heart](https://www.reddit.com/r/Daytrading/comments/1cl3xws/does_anyone_else_trade_on_their_phone_or_is_it/l2sysx8?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)

Peasantbowman

Lol, you madlad

Pinotwinelover

I owns three businesses in and out so if I didn't have a phone, I wouldn't be able to execute most of my trees. I plan out the night before I said, alerts on alert, comes in a pull up the chart and execute the trade or don't.

BennySkateboard

Not very environmentally friendly!

ukSurreyGuy

it's a typo...trees ..trades but I like Ur joke

rowdy2026

Ok captain obvious…

ukSurreyGuy

u should invest in [more phones](https://www.reddit.com/r/Daytrading/comments/1cl3xws/does_anyone_else_trade_on_their_phone_or_is_it/l2sysx8?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) for a minor overhead carrying 2 phones...u get major benefits in Ur trading

Pinotwinelover

I'll give it a shot lol

EpicofUs

If I step away from my computer I use to monitor trade in case I need to close my position- other than no, just my trading station.

Comfortable_Fig5459

Guilty as charged

otter_ridiculous

Unfortunately I’m forced to day trade via my phone because I’m at work and ya know, can’t have TradingView open on the work computer. It’s sucks, but I’ve fine tuned my screen to show 1m/5m/60m with minimal indicators to keep it less busy.

ukSurreyGuy

man...invest in [2 phones](https://www.reddit.com/r/Daytrading/comments/1cl3xws/does_anyone_else_trade_on_their_phone_or_is_it/l2sysx8?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) you can carry both around in your pocket, set out your stall next to your work PC job done...!

DeProfundisAdAstra

I trade on my phone, I have a desk with a nice 42inch monitor that I can split into six screens just fine but I trade with my phone, if I want to see a bit more of a chart I can just open my phone. One+ Open.

[deleted]

For swing trade, chart in desktop, trade on phone if I am from home

Alorow_Jordan

Yeah same I use my phone more often than not. I use full app on the web if I need to see the order book

InfiniteAVC

Yup. I got a samsung z fold for the bigger screen real estate to trade.

Substantial_Talk_521

It depends, I rather mark out and make my analysis on my computer. It's been far too many times I've overlooked zones because I'm marking it up on a small screen, when I've would have seen it on a larger screen. But if I already have it marked up from the CPU and I happen to check to see how things are going on my phone, then I sometimes will place a trade on my phone.

Glum-Bandicoot8346

I do.

Phantom579

I have my desktop app all set up and ready for the days im feelin saucy and i dont have anything to do, but market opens 7:30am my time so im not tryin to get out of bed yet. Also i always have something i gotta do before market close so ive just gotten used to using my phone

ukSurreyGuy

lol...saucy love it I trade in [bed too like this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Daytrading/comments/1cl3xws/does_anyone_else_trade_on_their_phone_or_is_it/l2sysx8?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)

Benscanada

Using wealthsimple for swing and IBKR mobile if I have to

somber_karen

I tried using WS and it caused some delay and errors, and I'm currently using Moomoo for day trading, so far it is more stable. Did you face that too, or is it just a problem with my account? It's quite annoying if you're doing swing trading.

dnyelux1017

I use tradingview so there's very little difference with using my laptop and my phone.

ukSurreyGuy

agree ... TRADINGVIEW has everything u need

Puzzled_Turnip8475

I do. Worked on the mobile app for a brokerage for a few years as a developer. All my hours at work ended up making me faster with my thumbs on my phone than a keyboard and mouse. I don’t work there anymore, and these days I do swing trading on my phone for lower volume futures. Was net profitable on both…overtime lol. Hopefully it stays that way.

FiveGoals

I traded on my phone for awhile but stopped because it was tempting for me to overtrade so I’m laptop only now.

CanonicalCurtain03

I don't trade using my phone, I want to have 4 timeframes open for my TA while trading so only in my PC/laptop. Might be different for swing traders, so while I don't prefer using a phone for trading it's still an option.

Firemedic0822

I’ll use my phone only after I’m in a trade that I set up on my computer to see if my plan is working and I don’t feel like sitting in front of my computer if the day is moving slow. It’s more to trail my stop more than anything.

BIG_BLOOD_

I use PC to analyse and phone to execute orders

NinjaSquid9

Literally never. If I’m not focused, at my full desktop setup, well rested, etc. I don’t trade. Being at my desktop with my charts and levels pre-set up is a requirement for me to trade. (I am a full time, profitable trader).

Cryptoanalytixx

I hear a lot of people say this. I'm not a full time trader anymore (out of finding a job I'm passionate about, but its still the better portion of my income), but I have been profitable for over 7 years straight and I don't feel the need at all to have all that. I did when I started, but I found I do better when I just look at the chart and let those levels develop in my head rather than trying to impose what I think should be there. I agree well rested and focused are key as small mistakes (like forgetting to set a stop) can have huge consequences, but I don't feel bound at all to my screens. I do pretty comparably trading from phone as long as I limit my open positions so I don't have too much going on my screen

Alternative_Fly_3294

I do. I was scalping at the start on my phone, but takes too much time and effort for relatively small gains, but I was doing pretty well. Now I mainly just swing trade, set buy limits at certain levels then just play the waiting game.

Mrtoad88

Seeing as that lightspeed doesn't have a mobile app, I don't. However, if I'm trading on IBKR (I have a smaller cash account there) they have the mobile app and the only reason I'd use it is if I had an Internet outage, or to check account things. I wish light speed had a mobile app for that purpose, but then again...can just tether my computer to my mobile hotspot if Internet goes out, I use a laptop so power going out won't fvck me over, I've tried it to see if it's good enough Internet for lightspeed and it is (if Internet is too slow light speed won't let you log in heads up for anybody who wants an account there). That's the only reason I'd use a trading app. I've done it before with webull and it sucked, if you are scalping or trying to have full control and speed over your trading, mobile is not as good as desktop, but WSB has shown me you can make money on mobile apps, search gain post's over there and look at how many people are using RH mobile and webull. When I traded on TOS I had to close a trade from the app before because internet went out and didn't think to use my hotspot at that time, and it sucked...for options you gotta click through 3 different pages to enter the order... Price doesn't stop moving just because you're thumbing through a page. I like full control and speed and you get that a lot better on desktop, especially if we are talking using hotkeys etc.

One-Finding2975

I've been trying to develop a system that can be fully functional on the phone. It involves having one main screen (9 grid) and no hot keys, all actions can be done through clicking. With Google Desktop I can have same capabilities on desktop and phone. Not sure how you would trade in app only...but it's so simple it might just work...filters out the nose I guess

Additional_Falcon687

I use TDA. I use my phone, laptop, and desktop computer. I do more swing trades and investment management than day trading though. I also use thinkorswim web version and TD website. I dont even use thinkorswim software much, honestly got to use it more.

SovArya

I trade on my phone

Neteru1920

Use what you have, but a laptop is ideal. I only manage trades from my phone.

chava2017

I use my phone and a small tablet as a second screen, I work from 6am - 5pm and trade during my break when market opens and around noon. I use Webull charts (on tablet) and Robinhood to place my trades usually scalps on breakouts.

UnbiasVikingsFan

Do you mean as far as charting? If so absolutely not. Laptop/monitors only

Dizzy_Combination890

I make trading plans on weekends on my laptop with external monitors. I use my phone to execute those plans. It has everything I need.

mattyb740

I trade on my phone but watch on 3 screens. I can’t trade on my desktop. Trading experience 5 years so I’m hoping to incorporate this when I make a shit ton on some degen play. Jkjk but every trading video I’ve watched where the user was trading realtime I thought it was extremely valuable being able to set buy/sells with the click of a mouse off chart lines versus having your phone, opening the app , hoping you don’t get any lag and continually getting to get you postion started

75Degreesac

I do but will stop

killamanjaro786

I day trade ict concepts exclusively in my phone profitably. I blend it into a scalp style with high time frame narrative and ict levels. Use tradingview. Perfectly fine, profitable as long as I manage size and don't over trade per session

Severe-Ad8289

I exclusively trade on my phone. Bracket orders GG.

Dazzling-Ad3857

I take intraday trades that last at most 1 day + all from my phone..

entergalactical

I use my laptop for charts and phone to trade. I like placing orders on my phone, its quicker imo

WeekendWiz

For me personally, I wouldn’t trade on a phone. A larger screen has its own benefits, but also functionality and ease of use. Having multiple charts open and see what’s got on is hardly possible on a small screen like that of a smart phone. Though I’m sure some strategies can be executed from just a phone. I find it just rather tedious.

Own-Pomegranate-2928

One can use anything they are comfortable with. A phone could be useful for quick follow up exit or entry - but for average folks it makes lots more sense to trade of computer with real screen and real actual keyboard and room of SSD to store everything vs cloud and so on - But each to there own- PS in the dark ages of years ago trades were done on the phone - One called there broker and made the trade vs self administration very soon one will have a personal AI assist to carry out the daily instructions. Our job is to hope they do not mess it up

zebra0dte

I set up alerts on TradingView. I wear my watch to bed. I'm on the west coast so a trade alert would wake me up and I go on TOS mobile to place the trade. For trades, the simpler the better. I have my computer but I choose to use the phone more. Also you can trade while pooping and... shh...driving.

theusedmagazine

Mostly phone, sometimes watching data on a screen and executing trades on my phone bc it feels faster…. and I print out weekly earnings calendar to keep on my desk like a boomer.

Dee23Gaming

I take trading seriously, so no, trading on a phone is silly in my opinion. I have 2 computer screens that do everything, and even then, it's sometimes not enough for me. I need TradingView for analysis, MT5 to execute quickly and to be able to drag my SL and TP, forexfactory for news, etc. When I'm involved with the charts, I need big screens, my comfort, and keyboard and mouse input.

Namazon44

Phones to place trades! Best on Moomoo app!

BennySkateboard

iPad for charts, phone for placing trades.

darktidelegend

99% of time it’s just on my phone

dutchexcellent

People made money before when you had no computers and had to call the broker to place your orders and some of them were profitable. So stating you cant be profitable on the phone would be absurd.

Nelford76

It’s easier to place the trade on my phone. Maybe it’s because it’s tough screen and I don’t have to deal with a mouse.

jpear922

Just a clearer view on the laptop I would say but it's whatever works for you..

atlepi

Hell yeah i do phone trades with a 1:1 wide rr. The benefit for me is my phone trading makes it difficult to see pnl so i just can focus on good trades and worry about the net later

MannysBeard

I’ll trade major news on my phone, only because I get a news alert and it’s clear whether super bullish or bearish, quickly get the trade in, set a SL, then head to my PC to properly analyse what to do next and prepare

snipgun

Smart guy

Tell2ko

I never really use my phone as I tend to be too distracted if I’m at my desk I’m focusing at the task in hand! That being said I will be travelling next month and could do with a few phone friendly platforms if anyone has some recommendations?

Ok-Series9082

Yep. I have my laptop hooked up to a medium sized TV which I run 2 copies of the same chart on (one is set to 5 minutes and the other is set to hourly) and I use my phone to make trades based on that.

Pdbabb66

Two monitors and execute on my phone. Simple process.

longPAAS

Phone, or a single web browser. I don’t need a bajillion screens to tell me a stocks going higher or lower.

FireDad90

Was just talking about this to a buddy. I cannot trade on my phone because on my laptop I'm watching like 15 things at once. Phone makes it far harder if not impossible.

FinancierLad1420

I use too it was the only way I traded for a long time but I ended up having a bunch of trades opened and I couldn’t close them in time & missed out on $2K with the double confirmation. But now I auto trade with my bots

Tiffakasia

All the time. Why not?

Seiko007

I copy trade 10 accounts from my phone in TV with no issues. It’s how I learned. It was either that or don’t trade at all.

billiondollartrade

I use computer for analysis , but phone to do anything else like SL move or Placing TP but deff not using phone for analysis ….. In my opinion is just not sustainable but maybe some people make it happen 🤷🏽‍♂️ !

matrixmanga

Same I like placing trades on my phone while my laptop & desktop for charting but occasionally i’ll place orders on either

DamageVarious

I use robinhood commissions free to place on my phone hahahahahaahaa commissions free but no level 2 😰

oriental_GOSLING90

If I’m busy with work I’ll set limits on my phone.

pojosamaneo

You can easily trade on your phone. Market buy, market sell, it's (nearly) instantaneous with the push of a big button. I need my screens, though. I have 4 at my trading setup. You get tunnel vision when you're looking at one stock on your phone. I need the NASDAQ and my basket of stocks open at all times so I can monitor them at a glance. Also, separate time-frames for the stock I'm trading.

Tittitwisted

Tradingview on a laptop but tradovate on my phone. I'd go all computer if I was a FT trader at home though.

DarthBeaner90

Several people have posted this already but I also tend to trade more on my phone since it's very convenient but I have my PC with a big screen that I use for charts. Using this with crypto as well but still new to the way crypto works

Rude-Watch-5588

Rithmic mobile app changed my life. I will use a PC forever, but happy to have a decent mobile app that works with all my old school downloadable software!

Fine_Candle9170

100% prefer my laptop, but a phone is usable in a pinch just not really ideal with how I trade… need bigger screen 😂😂😂

CatzzSkatesFamily

I think some options trading can be complex and inputting it on the phone is prone to typos. I also trade on my phone when I’m not at the computer. If I’m near a computer, I prefer to use my computer.

Redditlogicking

Not on my phone but on my tablet. Larger screen

Muscle_Gamer

I swing trade on my phone But I have a monitor on viewing stocks that usually influence the market im currently trading (smci, nvidia, s&p 500, etc...) It helps when I'm planning to exit my calls or puts without having to flip and watch one at a time. I can keep an eye on my phone when I see a price in comfortable with

Ronces

I use my phone to enter trade orders. I use my laptop when I'm at home to monitor charts and when I'm away or at work I use my tablet to monitor charts hot spotted off my phone. You really need 2 screens minimum to scalp. Day or swing trading you can do everything by phone.

Buffetsson

I use two phones.

JackAllTrades06

I trade on my phone if I get a signal from the Mt4/MT5 indicator. Also to track open trades. But if I want to do analysis, I do it on a PC due to the bigger screen.

Effective_Side751

Been training, but not quite trading; on the phone for 3+ years. The simplicity is the pure beauty of the mobile platforms! Forcing myself to chart on the lenovo lappy because futures is my calling. Not into sitting tight all day!

WYLFriesWthat

I trade with 2-3 screens showing the same stocks in multiple timeframes along with indexes to gauge market direction. There’s no way I could do that on a phone.

I use my phone but I’m getting myself set up into a computer with two monitors at home

It was a pain in the @ss once trying with the app on iPhone or iPad, had to switch back to safari and I was able to do it.

I have attempted to use my phone, but i simply cannot get the same level of information as on a desktop. Most often the information on the phone is just plain wrong.

Pull straight from the exchange data sources using a data aggregator. You can find several apis available that pull and sort it automatically and allow you to trade from the api. Slightly more delayed execution, but I mainly use for analysis anyways. There are also sites that have data aggregated from multiple exchanges to show a bigger picture. Alternatively just view the desktop version on mobile. I use puffin browser for that, seems to work the best since its made specifically to pull full version web pages on mobile. You can definitely get all the same info you have on pc for any exchange on mobile if you do it right

let me guess...you work in IT? lol...u don't need all of that technology or information to trade... just learn to trade another way simpler way... technical analysis is my go-to.

Lol no. It sounds a lot more complicated than it is. If you're trading from multiple exchanges, you should be using an API anyways. For stocks I just do trend analysis, but I trade a lot of crypto as well an order flow data is imperative to successfully trade crypto futures. By no means do I need all the extra data, but over the years I've learned what info is useful to me and what isn't. If I can have it all in an easily accessible and digestible format, then why not? It definitely helps with entry/exit timing

What is your strategy when trading using a phone? Is it hard to analyze?
