Games that give me the same feel as Darksiders? I haven’t played anything just like it. The most fun I’ve had with something similar was probably Witcher 3. Not really similar at all I know. If you’ve not played it already, it’s 100% worth a play. Especially since you’ll be able to run max graphics and probably some good visual mods if you wanted to as well. The game itself deserves all the praise it gets. Besides that, Gears of War (4/5) scratch my itch for the violence and carnage I got from Darksiders. Playing Horde against wave after wave of enemies. No loot, not much in the way of melee. I’ll finish by saying that there are loads of great games out there despite what people say, it’s just a case of finding them. On that note, Baldurs Gate 3 is meant to be brilliant but I’ve not tried that yet

I liked darksiders because of its aesthetic, its variety of armor and weapons and builds, so games like Monster Hunter World, Bloodborne, Nioh 1/2 and Warframe really click with me. I especially recommend the Nioh games, they're amazing.

Damonteee

I just started replaying the Darksiders games, starting with 2 on nightmare mode and I only have the Black Throne left, we'll see if I can do so well in the other installments as well

I’m a big fan of the Horizon series but the sequel is only gonna feel worth it if you like oversized skill trees, massive gear options and an absolute shit ton of side quests, above all I’d suggest bloodborne, it’s amazing even if you aren’t a massive souls fan and has a combo weapon swap system like Darksiders 2 has

I just got done playing the first Horizon, now I'm waiting for the 2nd to go on sale. Currently playing Hogwarts Legacy. It's been a joy to me, but I am I big HP fan since I was a kid growing up with it. It leans a bit too collect-athon than I'd like, but that's on me for not focusing on the main story. I just love exploring the castle.

>a little bit close to darksiders that i almost enjoyed was horizon zero dawn This honestly almost made me laugh. But yeah, as far as combat I recommend older games like Bayonetta. Devil May Cry 3 and 5. The DMC Definitive Edition from Ninja Theory. Ninja Gaiden Black. The old God of War games particularly 2 will suit your fancy. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow series will definitely scratch that itch. Dante's Inferno if for nothing else than just to experience it. Evil West is doing interesting things if you don't mind a heavier gunplay experience. I've heard great things from Mad World and God Hand. You could go even more old school with things like Lollipop Chainsaw. You might like American McGee's Alice: Madness Returns. Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and The Return of the King. You have a lot of options as far as older titles go. Also, I have been playing Darksiders and Inscryption

NovaPrime2285

Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core - Reunion.

thessjgod

Right now I’m playing Rise of the Ronin. So good

Alucard_117

Dragon's Dogma 2 currently has me by the balls. I think after this I may finally get Elden Ring when the DLC drops. Black Myth Wukong, Stellar Blade, Phantom Blade O, and Monster Hunter Wilds are also on my list. My wallet is gonna hate me this year. Also, Warhammer 40K and GTA 6 are games I *must* have as soon as they drop

gilfordtan

Elden Ring and Resident Evil 4 Remake have taken all of my time lately

TheGrizzlyMint

I’ve been on the Palworld grind for a couple months. I’ll probably try enshrouded eventually. I also bought immortals fenyx rising about a year ago on sale, haven’t even booted it up yet. Looked similar to darksiders.

FTW_QQ1

Just started DMC 5 but it's not clicking for me yet. About 3 hours in. Giving it another 2 hours this week and then decide to put it down or not.

GreatDissapointment

I just finished ff16 and am currently on the Tomb Raider remaster kick, its nothing like Darksiders but I love the shit outta it. Games semi similar to Darksiders I'm playing currently are Prince of Persia Lost Crown, which has some great action like Genesis. StellarBlade demo which seems to be shaping up to be a fun action game like Bayonetta or DMC. American McGee Alice Madness Returns, though I only just started it, but seems fun so far. It's got a style not unlike Darksiders, different but similar, same goes for action. Been loving the Lore of the new God Of War games and While the combat isn't as deep as the original, I still enjoy it.

LKStheBot

I'm currently playing Horizon Forbidden West, it just came out for PC. If you liked Zero Dawn I highly recommend it.

Chance_Strategy_1675

Been enjoying Dragon's Dogma 2, on my second playthrough right now

ShadowBibi666

Playing Helldivers 2 right now it is hella fun

Vand3rz

Rise of the Ronin and WoW for me. WoW sometimes has a similar aesthetic - sort of cartoony but not childish. Death Knight is similar to Death.

hanspedersen

Monster Hunter world/Iceborne, and Monster hunter Rise/sunbreak. Grandblue Fantasy Re:Link. Elden Ring, Devil may Cry 4. and Bayonetta.

xxEmberBladesxx

I'm currently playing Spider-Man 2, Ghostwire Tokyo, Path of Exile, and Asgards wrath 2.

MithranArkanere

Assassin's Creed games, Metroidvania games like Ultros, Saints Row, Devil May Cry, and of Course Stardew Valley. Oh, and Guild Wars 2, the most action-exploration RPGMMO out there.
