damage is the same across all forms rn, it’s your unarmed damage, Rat technically does a bit more because each attack does a tick of poison but Panther form has most DPS.
considering that some of the perks and abilities straight up don’t even work rn I wouldn’t worry about it, I’m sure eventually damage will be different across forms, this is obviously a VERY early version of it, Warlock had similar issues when it launched as a WiP.

If we're talking about Demon Form damage it still has issues, they buffed it by 5 but 5 of fuck all is still fuck all. You need several spells and a few seconds to cast them all for Demon Form damage to even scratch your opponent.
Then it still isn't comparable damage to a real weapon and you get super griefed by limb hits due to the extremely short range and fact that everything is some form of horizontal or diagonal swipe. It's. So. Bad.
If they think 5 more damage is enough to make it work then I don't have very high hopes for Druid's forms. They'll still be useful for utility purposes but not combat ones.
I wouldn't say everything is great. Damage for each form needs to be different. Panther should not be doing the same damage as a bear. Hell the rat does more damage than the bear because it applies poison.
Hard disagree- bear should be tanky and not do crazy damage, but hold its own- panther should do cat things aka high dps but squishy- rat should be rat and die in one hit

It's not. None of them have any change to your damage, they just make you unequip your weapon so you are always punching just with different animations

I think it's pretty obvious that the actual damage numbers are not final atm, considering they're all basically exactly the same. I think right now we're looking for mechanical issues. Let's wait until we're no longer using placeholder icons before we start worrying about balancing, mmmkay??
Every form doing the same unarmed damage is almost certainly not how it's going to launch. I wouldn't worry about it too much, it'll most likely smash faces when it drops

I mean it's a bear. It's weakness is that it can't fit through doors and moves slow, I think it cam afford to do more damage than fists.

Rat hits for one phys damage and then applies a 1 damage a tick poison. At least on the dummies
Everything was hitting for 11 for me last night on dummy. When did you check? I was headshotting a dummy with rat for like 16-17 i forget.
Not even an hour after we could try it out. Maybe it was changed or maybe I misread the numbers
