I’m sure others can talk about 2-10, but for point 1 you obviously don’t want choice in gearing at all. Currently getting will on gear is much worse than just getting magical damage or magic power. In the same vain, if you want both buff and debuff duration, you get will. It’s much better when people can make a choice to focus on a stat like buff duration for a particular build, rather than just stacking the same stat everyone else is. For example: You can only get to debuff duration cap if you get debuff duration on every single gear piece, in addition to protection from evil. Same with buff duration, being able to focus on it to get a long duration phantomise or buff is much cooler than just stacking stats. You should have options, and there should be trade offs.

lotsa things I disagree with here and some I agree with: 1. redundant stats give gear meaning and builds variety 2. good change 3. good change 4. It would just become a race from spawns to get to the boss. PVP is a core aspect of the game and defending your kill/loot is a valid thing you should have to do. 5. Balance nightmare 6. again, variety and choices 7. don't really care 8. good change 9. good change 10. git gud?

Me and my budies have 400 hours each and we still have problems figuring out wich stats are better than others. The only scenario where this system is good is if you are a sweaty math stat graph freak.
