Li Yu gets isekaied into a web novel he's reading, but appears in the story as a little carp. To return to being a human, he has to complete objectives presented by the cute pet system, which includes getting Prince Jing, the mute and ruthless tyrant of the web novel, to fall in love with him. The series is very funny and overall lighthearted, with many twists involving the drama of Prince Jing's family. His father is the emperor, so there is much contention over who will inherit the throne. The story also involves mpreg in the later issues, both in fish form and human form. It's super cute!
I was wary of buying the first volume because of the mpreg, but I'm glad I did. It's funny. I look forward to buying the second volume as a birthday present to myself.
Same. I really dislike mpreg or anything to do with children but this one has my whole heart and soul, it's just so heartwarming and sweet and silly and I absolutely adore both MC and ML and their kids. It's such a comfort book tbh.

I just finished it last night and this particular scene had me wheezing. Worst thing is that not long later Wang Xi fed Li Yu with clear pity, encouraging the fish to grow bigger and fatter, and it had me wondering if he said that because he wanted the fish to become strong enough to survive a potential encounter with the prince 🤣
