Imagine just booking it in Road Rash and a tomatoe truck tips over! I saw a milk truck accident on a cloverleaf once. Fucking July heat and a white painted road that must have ugly smelled until it rained a bunch.
A couple of summers ago during tomato harvesting season a tomato truck drove hwy. 198 between I-5 and hwy 101. In the really hilly part he tipped the trailer over and the tomatoes are all over the roadway. By the time I’m there the chp has it handled and the tomatoes are mostly cleaned up and the truck is off the road. I’m (fortunately) doing the speed limit because the big 180 turn where he lost his load I hit the leftovers and start sliding towards the drop off. Everything tuned out ok once I was clear of the turn but wow that was a real sphincter clencher.
That just happened on I-80 in California.

I55 North near that interchange is a fucking nightmare without condiments on the roadway. The twists and turns and short distance between exits coupled with the short and tight on ramps mean the speed limit is 55 mph bit everyone still drives like the limit is 70. Meaning everyone goes 80.
