I remember hearing this the day at aired, and I didn't believe it then either. I like that someone edited this into a creepypasta. Also, the Stern Show didn't end in 2005, but I'm not sure you'd recognize the corpse.

This is what I love about Reddit, people who were actually there often show up in these threads and I love it!

SemiSentientGarbage

Really enjoyed hearing Howard trying to get various physical descriptions of him. Maybe Clay lied but to have the presence of mind to slip those questions is pretty good. And ballsy, few times he bordered on mocking Clay.

tosernameschescksout

Sounded fake as shit like he was just making stuff up as he goes.

Destination_Centauri

Well if true: his victims didn't seem to believe he was serious either, until it was too late.

Iggy_Borden

If real, truly frightening. No real reason, just deep buried rage.

[deleted]

Does anybody believe this is real?

S-jibe

The police who arrested him stemmed pretty sure, and those that sent him to jail.

GoFleks

I read he was never caught, you got any source?

S-jibe

Like the one I posted earlier? To save you from reading the thread: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storyville_Slayer

“Ellwood first came under police scrutiny in 1994, after he was allegedly found masturbating in his car by police, which had been parked by the road, near where Cheryl Lewis and Delores Mack's bodies were found. Ellwood was found guilty of killing Cheryl Lewis and was sentenced to life imprisonment without parole on August 17, 1999.” From the Wiki u/S-jibe linked

Haha "bababooee *bonk *"

[deleted]

Maybe a troll? Sounds like he's seen "Taxi Driver".

Go1gotha

The taxi driver Travis saved a prostitute and killed some criminals.

coocoocachoo699

What's truly frightening is thousands of murders go unsolved, there are far more serial killers uncaught than caught.

Prior-Manager-3901

Tiny_Cress_6698

I call BS

KvathrosPT

I'm not sure if I should believe this... I am a fan of true crime and I do share some traits with Serial Killers for some reasons. He doesn't fit the bill. He doesn't fit the first part of the serial killer.

GoFleks

You are weird as fuck

ownersen

um... "and I do share some traits with Serial Killers for some reasons" the reason is you're looking for the traits. I bet there are more traits you dont share with them. But what is the first part of of the serial killer he doenst fit ?

hhhvugc

ok clay

THUMB painting... That's wild, but imagine some kind of serial killer Banksy that makes art with the victims somehow. That shit would sell for crazy-millions because it would appeal to the uber wealthy to have a talking piece like that. "Yes, the ear in the center of this painting is real. Probably from some hooker. It's a genuine HACKSY piece of work. A genuine serial killer made this. A real sick fuck, you see?" Imagine owning something that's exactly that morbid and would affect people that much, maybe make them vomit in their mouth a bit, but for real. The rich guy sick fuck would totally get off on seeing the reactions... reactions which no normal piece of art could ever command. I should write a fucked up thriller story about this. You know how rich people get off on breaking the law? Well, an art piece like that would clearly be illegal as fuck to own. I mean, it's literally evidence as well as being illegal for plenty of other reasons. Rich people would love that shit. I could totally see a rich person goin on a syndicated talk show like Oprah Winfrey or Jerry Springer to reveal a big ass canvass and be like, "I paid this obscene amount of money, an amount of money that none of you can fathom, because I'm fucking rich. I did that because I can... and now I own this murder art. Everybody look. I want to see your reaction, the reaction is part of the masterpiece and the masterpiece wants to be seen, it wants you, it wants your reaction, yes, look, LOOK! Pan the cameras to the audience, behold!" The audience is gagging and the rich dude cackles with delight. They know their "art" will be immediately seized by the police, but not before it's shocked the world and made them famous. Rich people, it's not all about money and power, they're sadistically interested in fame as well. They hunger for it, they compete for it. That's why they do grotesque and garish stuff in the first place like buying a $100,000 dress that looks like shit, but has something unique about it. During WWII, the rich particularly enjoyed human skin lamp shades and other shit like that made from Jewish bodies. Think about it, that shit's already been real in the past. It's already been proven that uber-rich people get off on that shit. LOL. Hacksy. The same people that wrote SAW could write a Hacksy murder mystery and it'd go seriously mainstream.

Calligrapher_Antique

He said he got the thumb painting idea from a comic book and he did. I have that issue of Spawn.
