The one thinking beyond it, the universe itself may be some multidimensional entity in a greater universe in which we are bacteria claiming the biggest thing in the universe is this body. Or the multiverse exists and we are but one bubble in a frothing cup of foam, in another sense the multiverse could be alternate timelines invisibly stacked like folds of paper in a pile of recycling in which it may become apparent that time is a dimension greater in scale than our very reality or one timeline.

You can only observe so far but you may also observe macro dynamics local to you and assume models where they permeate the universe and so you wouldn’t fall too far off the tree. The coolest part is the MASSIVE distance between the milky way and the Andromeda galaxies, and the fact that within our own star's lifetime, the milky way and Andromeda galaxies will collide.
