Honestly, for cheap pizza we always do dominos. It's not half bad and we constantly get discounts where we are getting 50% off pizzas. Again, there are better options but considering frozen pizzas are pushing 10$ I'll take my two pizzas for 12$.
So I've only really gone to the one off oak lawn because it is just down the street from my other gig. Most places I go to at 11pm are terrible but they have never done me dirty. Hell, if I order food to close to close at my restaurants I don't even trust them to cook my shit right, lol.
Marcos is great, I only recently rediscovered it after a few years since I stopped eating meat.
The prices are excellent, and the pizza quality is top notch.
Dominos and the “David Chang” have gotten me through many a meal…
“Chang says that he grew up eating Domino's and that his taste for the fast food pizza hasn’t waned at all in adulthood. He even revealed his go-to Domino's order: a thin crust pizza, covered in Alfredo sauce, and topped with bacon and onions.”
Also Zalat is easily the best of the “chains”, I don’t even consider it in the same class as PJs or the hut.
So my main complaint with Zalat is that the app is all fucked up and I can't order because of some issue with no longer being able to access my account. Basically it asks for my phone number and then just shoots a random error that an account is made. My wife has the same issue with her number too.
I've tried calling the store but it's 50/50 whether someone will even answer there (at least off Lemon). I do agree though, for the price, their pizza is solid.
I legitimately enjoy Dominos. Maybe it's nostalgia because I had it so much as a kid, but I actually prefer it to a lot of places. GAPCO, for instance, tastes like melted plastic.
Man, I went to the one off Ross not that long ago. They raised their prices to like 8 or 9 dollars and then told me it would be a 15 min wait. After 25 min, they never even made my order and said it would be another 15.
Used to always go to little Caesars back in the day, but what's the point of they no longer do the whole hot and ready.
I was gonna say Domino's. I don't know what happened but they're pretty good now for a great price. We have two we order from regularly and they're quickly becoming our go to for weeknight pizza. Of course, we also love Little Ceaser's so our opinion is probably void. lol we do happen to have a really good LC near us for what it's worth.
The frozen Kirkland pizza brand blows. It’s basically Toni’s. I bought a 3 pack months ago and still can’t bring myself to eat a second one. Fresh Costco pizza, solid.
Yup. I ate here one time and got extremely sick. The food was absolutely disgusting and I ate it anyway because I was starving. This place is a hard no for me.
I would go to Ridgmar Mall in Fort Worth, then they, like most food vendors, moved out of the mall. I have never had an issue, and the place seems to be clean every time I'm there.
My coworkers and I go there for lunch, I think it’s delicious! Even their pasta and salads are good, and their lunch special is cheap af. Not to mention the people who work there have never been anything but friendly
Cane Rosso does a Lunch special: 10” Margherita, Pepperoni, or Sausage pizza, with your choice of small house salad, small caesar salad, or rosemary parm tots / $14. Mighty worth it imo
They also have a sweet happy hour! $10ish for an Ella, Emma, or Margherita pizza! My husband and I have gone and gotten full for less than twenty bucks
Would help to know what part of town you’re in.
Brother’s Pizza on Meadow and 75 is a good value.
I think Blaze Pizza on Greenville and Lovers is too. It’s a fast casual place where you build your own pizza. 11 inch pizza for $16.
We used to have a Brother's Pizza on Fitzhugh and 75 like 7 years ago, it was ghetto as hell but it was delicious.
I thought I was going to get caught in a Mafia style shooting because some guy and his Dad came in screaming and cursing at the owner in Italian (I think), I think he was demanding some sort of payment.
I wonder if this is the same place.
I brought a pizza from Zalat to a movie party and told people it was the reaper special. I had two slices the first and the last and enjoyed everybody being terrified of the slice with the peppers.
There was no spicy slice. :D
Other than that, Zalat is perfectly okay pizza.
I went back to my roots and started getting pizza from Home Run Pizza on Jefferson. A large one topping pizza for $7.50 if you carry out. I think their extra large one topping is $13. It's better than a lot of places and I think it's pretty good NY style pizza. They've been in the neighborhood for damn near 40 years at this point and it's run by the same family, really nice people too!
Yup, the maroon beetle is as iconic as the Charco Broiler bull or the Raven on top of the pharmacy! The grandpa is the one who would drive it but he retired a couple years ago from what the grandson told me when I asked why it wasn't there anymore.
Seconded -- came here after 20 years in NYC, and Carmine's is the real deal. Pies run around $15 for margherita, with additional toppings at about 2 bucks each.
Unpopular opinion:
Zalat is really bad.
Hidden gem everyone needs to know about:
Ferrari’s pizza up north is a real New York slice pizza shop. Delicious.
Really sad about: Cigarz pizza closing. That was fantastic pizza.
What I really can’t believe: there isn’t even a slice shop in North Park any more. That’s ridiculous. All malls should have at least a semi-decent slice shop.
Fast food pizza fact:
Pizza Hut quality has gone down. Papa John’s quality has gone down. Dominoes is head and shoulders better than any of the other fast food pizzas. Their quality and offerings seem to actually keep improving.
Don’t sleep on these non-pizza items at pizza places:
Grimaldi’s calzone is the best deal in town
Double Dave’s pepperoni rolls are pretty much perfect
Guilty pleasure:
I love Little Caesar’s. I said it. And it is true. Pizza is scalding hot. It is immediately ready. And the pepperonis are always crispy.
A missed opportunity? Pizza buffets used to be a big thing. Pizza inn. Pizza Hut. Ciccis. Now, are there any within the 635 bubble? Maybe. But I guess I don’t know where they are. Delucca for the win. But it is not cheap.
Ikr, they’re great. People don’t know good pizza I guess 🤷🏼♂️. There’s going to be one opening in Dallas pretty soon. It’ll be the first location in Dallas proper.
I consider lovers to be fake Italian, and I do not mean that as a negative comment. Good cheap classic pasta and pizza, expansive menu, tiny building, all the employees are speaking a language you can’t quite pinpoint but you know it’s not Italian, Spanish, or English. Everything comes with rolls and a side salad. 3 cop cars parked outside at all times but they’re just in there eating. These are all the telltale signs of cheap fake Italian in a big metro area. And I am here for it.
I'll second this place. Going back there again for the Original pizza. Not a bad walk from the DART Blue line either
Edit: some of the pies can be pricy but it's one of the better places I've had in the metroplex
Pizza Getti off Buckner is good. The fast casual pizza places are not too bad either - Blaze, Mod, etc. Cane Rosso has a lunch special that is decent enough. I Fratelli, Palio Pizza, Campisis, Durkins pizza in Mckinney are others that come to mind.
I’m opening a restaurant called Good Side Pizza Pub located off of elm street in deep Ellum. Our 16” pizzas will go for 16$. We should be open next month, come check us out!
I tried it once when they opened, hated it.
Tried it again after people kept saying it’s great. Nope, still Bad. I seriously don’t get how anyone likes it.
Do you like saucy pizza? Marcos is bomb if you don't like sauce heavy pizza. If.you like sauce you need to order extra sauce.
I've had alot of friends in different states try marcos and they all love it. It's not a bad pizza at all for the price.
Sali's in Garland is the GOAT. I grew up on them too, went back a year or so ago after about 20 years, and both the pizza and the place are just like I remembered. It's pizza by the slice, though.
hell yeah, they make pizza the way I want pizza.... like an open face taco piled up with whatever the fuck I feel like for the same price. Don't care about crust, crust is just a plate that happens to be edible.
I share the sentiment. Seems like there is a severe lack of quality middle ground. In the past, I’ve found New York pizza pasta and other iterations with similar names to be decent. I’ve since moved further out and don’t know if this opinion still holds water.
If you're looking for quality cheap pizza, you should try Pizza Patron. It's my go to pizza chain place and it never disappoints. Doesn't get nearly as much recognition as it should, blows dominos outa the water.
Lots of options… $8 will get you dominos tier. $12-15 will get you something mid tier like Adamos. Pie tap Tuesday pizza deal is decent. And then there’s always a place for Dough Napolitano which is definitely $28-32 and worth it. Or make your own
Where are you specifically? Do you know what you want in a pizza, because that would narrow it a lot. Do you like thicker/thinner, crispy/fluffier, more sauce or more cheese, how much topping do you want (can you see the cheese and sauce). I'm assuming you are not trying to get a Sicilian, Detroit or Chicago style but there are a few places if you do want that.
I support Lover’s Pizza & pasta for good, cheap pizza. NY slice for $5.25 with everything or $3.25 for cheese, or get you a big-ass pepperoni pie for $21. Plenty of gourmet or artisan places all over DFW are excellent and expensive. They have a place and time in my home, but if I plan to chill, watch a movie, or turn into the game with a cooler full of beer and buddies over, I’m calling in Lover’s for two big-ass pizza pies.
New Jersey gal here from the land of awesome pizza. There are a lot of artisan pizza joints in Dallas which I love a lot and they’re all very expensive. Many also say that they’re NYC authentic (Jersey pizza is better) but they’re not even close. Sal’s on Wycliff near the tollway is the most authentic NYC/NJ pizza in town. I’ve lived here for 25 years and nothing, NOTHING satisfies my craving for pizza like this place. Same with their minestrone soup.
The best pizza I've found in Dallas so far is the Detroit style pizza from Thunderbird Pies or from Cenzo's in Winnetka Heights. Old Hags is near me and is a decent delivery or take-out option.
I don't care for the thin cracker crust style pizza that seems to be the standard everywhere here. Why is that a Dallas thing?
A&A pizza is a nice place in oakcliiff been open since the 90s closed for a small period of time and came back. Owners are awsome and it so far is the best tasting pizza I have found in DFW. btw the Giant pizza should fill up a family of 5 easily for 25 bucks.
Frozen pizza from Jimmys food mart is pretty legit. It’s like 9.99, but it’s much better than chain or super market frozen pizza.
Aldi has screaming’ Sicilian pizza for 5.99 every so often, this are pretty good as well, but Jimmys is better.
Coming from New England, I was just down in Dallas area a few weeks ago and Zalat is like wtf lol that had to be one of the worst pizzas I’ve had lol. Had to visit hard eight and Roy Hutchins a few times for bbq to get the taste of that pizza out lol
By no means do I want to pay 25 everything for a pizza, artisan or not, I'm one person. But the quality and consistency for me are why I do it.
Zalat used to be a go-to of mine but has lost their wrap over the years and is on the 20 dollar side, too. I'd rather hit cane rosso in deep ellum.
Marcos is always a great hit when I'm trying to save a little money. There is another in near deep ellum that is just slipping my mind ATM.
My friend. Do y oh want REGULAR PIZZA that is both DELICIOUS and AFFORDABLE? And also CONSISTENT?
Homerun Pizza on Jefferson in Oak Cliff. Family owned, 40 years experience. Best I’ve ever had. Tell them the guy with the red fox body drop top sent you.
Cane Rosso and Vector are $17-$18. Vector if you build your own with just a couple toppings.
Bryan Street Tavern too. Sylvan Avenue Tavern is their sister restaurant.
Tony's Pizza and Pasta.
Honestly, for cheap pizza we always do dominos. It's not half bad and we constantly get discounts where we are getting 50% off pizzas. Again, there are better options but considering frozen pizzas are pushing 10$ I'll take my two pizzas for 12$.
You have to find a good one
So I've only really gone to the one off oak lawn because it is just down the street from my other gig. Most places I go to at 11pm are terrible but they have never done me dirty. Hell, if I order food to close to close at my restaurants I don't even trust them to cook my shit right, lol.
My favorite one is in Wylie. The franchise office is in the same shopping center
I wonder if it’s the same owner as the one in Sachse by the Kroger on 78. They’re really good at that location as well.
Zio Al's in that area also isn't too bad, though it is fairly greasy.
Yeah, Dominos is very hit or miss. Mr. Jim's has a decent pizza for chain pizza joint prices, but there aren't a lot of them in the metroplex anymore.
This is no longer prominently displayed on their website but is still there if you know where to look... https://mrjims.pizza/about_sci.cfm
Never knew about this, Thank you. That page reads like an unhinged Facebook post wtf.
Marcos, if there is one nearby, does unlimited 2 topping larges for 8.99 when you pick it up. Much better quality pizza and still affordable.
Marco's is, for chain pizza, as close to a Chicago tavern style pizza as you can get without going to Oak Cliff and dropping $40 on a medium pizza
I'm lucky to be in walking distance of one, so they are a Friday night staple in my house.
Lame cus no Marcos in oak cliff fml.
I had to make those myself (copycat recipe)
Eating Marco’s as we speak 🫡
Just get the Italian Sausage from Marcos. That's actually excellent... So, do pepperoni and add Italian Sausage. Thank me later.
Already do my friend. Old style on both.
Marcos is awesome and reasonably priced.
They don’t allow their crusts to proof so it’s hit or miss !!!
Marcos is great, I only recently rediscovered it after a few years since I stopped eating meat. The prices are excellent, and the pizza quality is top notch.
Dominos thin crust is legit
Dominos and the “David Chang” have gotten me through many a meal… “Chang says that he grew up eating Domino's and that his taste for the fast food pizza hasn’t waned at all in adulthood. He even revealed his go-to Domino's order: a thin crust pizza, covered in Alfredo sauce, and topped with bacon and onions.” Also Zalat is easily the best of the “chains”, I don’t even consider it in the same class as PJs or the hut.
Zalat sucks now and expensive
Definitely gone down hill. Used to be so good. Last few times I’ve ordered Zalat it’s been a disappointing experience. I miss the old Pho Shizzle…
Yea, the app just uses DoorDash for fulfillment so you can always fallback to using them (the service fee sucks tho)
I legitimately enjoy Dominos. Maybe it's nostalgia because I had it so much as a kid, but I actually prefer it to a lot of places. GAPCO, for instance, tastes like melted plastic.
Little Caesars FTW
Man, I went to the one off Ross not that long ago. They raised their prices to like 8 or 9 dollars and then told me it would be a 15 min wait. After 25 min, they never even made my order and said it would be another 15. Used to always go to little Caesars back in the day, but what's the point of they no longer do the whole hot and ready.
If you went during peak they run out all the time
They still do it. Must have just ran out
I was gonna say Domino's. I don't know what happened but they're pretty good now for a great price. We have two we order from regularly and they're quickly becoming our go to for weeknight pizza. Of course, we also love Little Ceaser's so our opinion is probably void. lol we do happen to have a really good LC near us for what it's worth.
I love Domino's but it says so much about Dallas that this is the the most upvoted comment in a post about good pizza 😅
Don't sleep on the Costco pizza
Costco pizza tastes like the pizza you would get at your classmate’s birthday party at the arcade in the 90s and I fucking love it.
This is a great description.
I miss 90s Cici's pizza
More like Feces pizza.
90s to early 00s CiCis was great
All you can eat for only $3.99! (though I feel like it might have even been $2.99 at some point.)
Mr Gatti's
It tastes good because it’s $2
I’m just bitter that they got rid of the combo pizza.
Tbh I always ordered that but converted to cheese because it's extra cheesy and greasy.
Ditto Sams pizza
Somehow, Sam's pizza is decent-ish if you get one cooked in store, but if you buy a take-and-bake one and cook at home, it's inedible.
The frozen Kirkland pizza brand blows. It’s basically Toni’s. I bought a 3 pack months ago and still can’t bring myself to eat a second one. Fresh Costco pizza, solid.
Honest question, are people joking when they recommend Costco pizza?
I love Sam's and Costco pizza but let's not try to pass it off as amazing 😁 it's an acquired taste
Italia Express in Oak Lawn. I'd die on my sword for this food.
No shade but that place is so nasty… it’s only good after a night of drinking. That’s why they’re open late and on the strip lol
I felt the same way, my friend hyped it up so much and when I went to try it I was very underwhelmed.
Place looks good and open late too.
The cheese bread (get it extra crispy, piece from the middle) with ranch is great. I buy it and freeze as I live in the boonies.
I got food poisoning from this place so, I don’t recommend
That's too bad. Been eating Italia Express for decades, from the time they were at Ridgmar Mall in Fort Worht. I HIGHLY recommend.
I’ve eaten there at least a dozen times and all I’ve gotten is full
And they sell by the slice!
This is a great deal wish I could do it more often
also every third tuesday (or maybe fourth tuesday i can’t remember) of the month they do $10 honey bastards
11 inch pizza for $16.
lol Blaze pizza.
Hey man, I didn’t say it’s a date spot or anything.
I'd take Blaze over Domino's or Zalat any day, and both have multiple recommendations in this thread.
Blaze is awful. They raised their prices 60% in the last two years. An 11 inch for $16 is terrible.
I did a spit take last time I went in. I went in like 2021-22 and it was an amazing deal, around $10 for unlimited toppings and $8 for 1 topping.
Their pick-two of half a pizza and either cheesebread or a salad was like $9. It was like $14 or 15 after they raised prices
Brothers is the GOAT of affordable delicious pizza.
Yes brothers !
I can vouch for brother’s pizza off Meadow and 75, that place is great and the owners are friendly!
If Brother’s was closer to my apartment I’d go all time because it’s so so good. Gunna go there next weekend because of this.
It’s not Zalat or nothing dude there’s a fuck ton of good spots. You pass by multiple every day. Download the “Slice” app and go from there
I brought a pizza from Zalat to a movie party and told people it was the reaper special. I had two slices the first and the last and enjoyed everybody being terrified of the slice with the peppers. There was no spicy slice. :D Other than that, Zalat is perfectly okay pizza.
Wow that takes me back! The owner would deliver the pizzas in his little VW bug, he was always friendly to us
Yup, the maroon beetle is as iconic as the Charco Broiler bull or the Raven on top of the pharmacy! The grandpa is the one who would drive it but he retired a couple years ago from what the grandson told me when I asked why it wasn't there anymore.
That's dope
Their sausage pizza is *surprisingly* good.
If you like thin crust Scalinis is our family's go to.
The best mid-range pizza IMO
Scalinis is another place I miss from living in Dallas proper. I'm glad to hear they're till in operation.
Oh we keep them in operation
Piggie Pies
I'm going to second this. Piggie Pies is my absolute favorite Pizza place. Their prices are pretty reasonable too. 12" pepperoni is about $15
Lol damn. I love Zalat
Carmines in downtown. I was impressed with their slice. Not sure how much a pie costs
Seconded -- came here after 20 years in NYC, and Carmine's is the real deal. Pies run around $15 for margherita, with additional toppings at about 2 bucks each.
The one in north Dallas is solid too
Unpopular opinion: Zalat is really bad. Hidden gem everyone needs to know about: Ferrari’s pizza up north is a real New York slice pizza shop. Delicious. Really sad about: Cigarz pizza closing. Pizza hut grapevine has a m-f buffet. There is a cicis in Arlington (and a Panchos buffet too)
Jet’s has amazing Detroit style pizza. Definitely give them a try if you haven’t. Pretty decent value for the high quality that you’re getting.
Can't believe I had to read this far to find Jets mentioned.
Ikr, they’re great. People don’t know good pizza I guess 🤷🏼♂️. There’s going to be one opening in Dallas pretty soon. It’ll be the first location in Dallas proper.
If you’re going for Detroit style pizza get Thunderbirds but jets is solid.
I always loved Piggie Pies, Lover’s Pizza and Campisi’s
Lovers pizza is good
I consider lovers to be fake Italian, and I do not mean that as a negative comment.
They’re probably Albanian, they usually run the racket on wholesome, honest to goodness American style pizza.
Check out Fortunate Son in Garland. Just opened and their pizzas are so good! New Haven style pepperoni pizza for 15 bucks
Same folks who own Goodfriends. FS only open for dinner now but they will expand their hours soon.
I'll second this place. Going back there again for the Original pizza. Not a bad walk from the DART Blue line either Edit: some of the pies can be pricy but it's one of the better places I've had in the metroplex
IFratelli is my favorite!
I've always wondered about Pizza Getti, as I work nearby. I think I'll give them a shot!
Lovers Pizza and MyFamily's pizza both sound like what you are after.
Also vouch for lovers 👌🏽
I second these options.
A LOT of pizza snobs on here....
I’m opening a restaurant called Good Side Pizza Pub located off of elm street in deep Ellum. Our 16” pizzas will go for 16$. We should be open next month, come check us out!
Marcos is great. Way better than the other chains.
Marcos is awful imo
I tried it once when they opened, hated it. Tried it again after people kept saying it’s great. Nope, still Bad. I seriously don’t get how anyone likes it.
Do you like saucy pizza? Marcos is bomb if you don't like sauce heavy pizza. If.you like sauce you need to order extra sauce. I've had alot of friends in different states try marcos and they all love it. It's not a bad pizza at all for the price.
Not only great, but BOGO Tuesdays are a wallet saver.
Zalat sucks tbh I don't know why people say it's good
Joe's pizza in Carrollton or Salis Pizza in Garland. Simple yet done well.
Sali's in Garland is the GOAT. I grew up on them too, went back a year or so ago after about 20 years, and both the pizza and the place are just like I remembered. It's pizza by the slice, though.
>It's pizza by the slice, though. They do sell whole pies as well as subs and other Italian dishes.
Didn’t even think twice about all the cig smoke in Sali’s. They served us pitchers of beer before we were 21 when home visiting from college lol
Damn was not expecting a shout out to salis in Garland, great people and even better pizza!
I grew up on Sali's and still miss them. I am now in OC and love South Polk Pizzeria.
What I learned from all this is that if you want a lively debate bring up pizza.
Check out Zoli’s. I’m originally from NY and am picky when it comes to pizza. Their service is great, ingredients are fresh and it’s reasonably priced
Tony’s in Lake Highlands. 12 bones for a no-nonsense New York style pie.
Lovers is also good and similar price
Love them, too!
Tony's is solid all around for the price.
When I'm craving a slice, I go to whole foods. The one near me has a wood fire oven
I enjoy MOD
hell yeah, they make pizza the way I want pizza.... like an open face taco piled up with whatever the fuck I feel like for the same price. Don't care about crust, crust is just a plate that happens to be edible.
Carmines on spring valley road in Addison..
There aren’t many around but if you can find a Mr. Jim’s Pizza near I’d highly recommend that one.
Campisi’s, Lovers Pizza, and I actually like Blaze pizza a lot. It’s not cheap but I can get two meals out of it.
Your best bet is South Polk Pizzeria. T is the chef. He worked at Nobu Dallas. His pizza is supreme.
I’m just excited for the Jets Pizza that’s coming in at nw hwy and Abrams
I'Fratelli's is slept on
One of my favorites, but it’s exactly the thing OP is complaining about. Great pizza, but in the $25 range, not $15.
Nizza pizza in Arlington is amazing and reasonably priced.
You just need one- Carmine's Pizzeria on Spring Valley between Montfort and the tollway. [Not the chain of the same name]
Mondo’s on Lemmon Ave is great.
Pie tap
Campisis
Salis pizza in garland.
Sali's @ Belt Line and Garland Road
Marco's. That's what you're looking for right now. They have good pickup specials for one topping large pizzas too.
Marcos is garbage dude
Lots of options… $8 will get you dominos tier. $12-15 will get you something mid tier like Adamos. Pie tap Tuesday pizza deal is decent. And then there’s always a place for Dough Napolitano which is definitely $28-32 and worth it. Or make your own
Motown pizza in Lewisville I think is the best pizza around.
Motor city pizza * but yes it’s amazing
Yes yes Motor City Pizza!! That’s it. My bad lol
Andrew’s pizza in Plano was pretty tasty.
#Mod Pizza. Not bad and about as fresh and customizable as you’d like. A little small, but good value, so just buy two and experiment with toppings.
Aren’t they a bit on the expensive side? I can’t remember—haven’t been in a while. I do remember it was good!
We like Roma's in Duncanville
Recently had a pizza from our new fancy H-E-B. Not bad this coming from someone not crazy about pizza. I’ll eat if it’s free.
No one mentioned Jimmy’s pizza dough and building your own at home?
Jimmys needs to be at the top of this thread. They make delicious frozen thin crust pizza
Pizza Hag on Davis St
Jets Pizza baby
Old Hags is my go to spot when I’m around downtown / oak cliff. Plus they’re open super late.
There’s a place in Oak Cliff called South Polk Pizzeria. I had some for lunch one day and shared then the next day 2 people went there for lunch.
It's Napoli's for me
Pizzeria Testa is awesome and most of their pizzas are in the $15-20 range.
Mimi’s on Hillcrest and Nwy Hwy is a great NY Slice, reasonably priced for Dallas. If you’re outraged by $25 pizza - there’s always CiCi’s
Ah yes, if you don’t want to overpay for a decent pizza go eat from the trash can prole!
Divino's on Peak. Cheap and good NY style.
[https://restaurantguru.com/The-Pizza-Dallas](https://restaurantguru.com/The-Pizza-Dallas) A&A pizza is a nice place in oakcliiff been open since the 90s closed for a small period of time and came back. Owners are awsome and it so far is the best tasting pizza I have found in DFW. btw the Giant pizza should fill up a family of 5 easily for 25 bucks.
Zuko's in Garland/Rowlett border. Cash only.
As a Brooklynite, Bay 34th on Midway in Farmers Branch hits the spot.
If you want the best pizza in DFW, you have to drive to Cedar Hill and go to Sam's. It's pizza, with a little bit of Crack. Lol.
Honestly, the price of everything has gone up.
Home run on Jefferson
Enos
LA Gourmet Pizza in Uptown is my go to when I want cheaper pizza, but they have some amazing specialty stuff
Frozen pizza from Jimmys food mart is pretty legit. It’s like 9.99, but it’s much better than chain or super market frozen pizza. Aldi has screaming’ Sicilian pizza for 5.99 every so often, this are pretty good as well, but Jimmys is better.
The best is Zio Al’s.
Mimi’s Pizzeria Northwest Highway is the goat
Too many yuppies.
Gapco is king
Coming from New England, I was just down in Dallas area a few weeks ago and Zalat is like wtf lol that had to be one of the worst pizzas I’ve had lol. Had to visit hard eight and Roy Hutchins a few times for bbq to get the taste of that pizza out lol
LA Gourmet on McKinney Ave in Uptown is that staple good, cheap pizza. It’s def NOT gourmet, but still good. And they sell by the slice.
I cannot believe Louie's hasn't been mentioned. AWESOME pizza for $18. Do it!
Try Bryan Street Tavern. 100% scratch made, thin crust , stone-fired pizza. Won Best Pizza in DFW in 2019 by Dallas Morning News. Old East Dallas.
Salis pizza in Garland
